    Get PDF
With the rapid pace of urbanization, malodorous gases stemming from industrial and domestic activities present a severe threat to both the environment and human health. Conventional treatment techniques, including biological, chemical, and physical methods, suffer from drawbacks such as low efficiency, high costs, and potential secondary pollution. In contrast, modern technologies like UV photolysis purification and plasma - based approaches exhibit distinct advantages in terms of efficiency, cost - effectiveness, and environmental friendliness. Low - temperature plasma technology, as an emerging environmental deodorization method, can efficiently decompose a wide range of malodorous gases, such as NH₃, H₂S, and VOCs, by generating high - energy active particles through gas ionization. Under specific conditions, its removal efficiency can exceed 95%, with a minimal risk of secondary pollution. This paper systematically reviews the principles, application status, optimization directions, and future challenges of this technology, offering novel perspectives for environmental governance

Changes in Ecosystem Services and Trade-offs/Synergies in the Nanpan and Beipan River Basin

    Get PDF
Understanding the complex relationships among ecosystem services (ESs) is crucial for their joint management, particularly in vulnerable karst areas where ES dynamics are intricate. This study, focusing on the Nanpan and Beipan River Basin (NBPRB), examines seven key ESs—food supply (FP), water supply (WS), soil retention (SR), carbon storage (CS), water purification (WP), habitat quality (HQ), and landscape aesthetics (LA)—over 1985-2020, to analyze their spatiotemporal trends and their trade-offs and synergies for sustainable development. This study innovatively introduces a method to identify trade-offs and synergistic effects among services, including the recognition of positive and negative synergies, as well as determining which service reduction leads to the trade-off relationship. Additionally, by constructing land use transition matrices, the research analyzes how changes in land use affect the trade-offs and synergies among services, offering scientific guidance for the implementation of sustainable land management. The results indicate that (1) FP and LA have risen, and SC have fluctuated, and WP and CS have remained stable, though HQ has decreased. Regionally, ESs differ, with the south of NBPRB leading in FP and the north of NBPRB basin excelling in WS, CS, SR, LA, and HQ. (2) Among 21 combinations of ESs, seven exhibit trade-offs and eight synergies. Trade-offs are mostly between provisioning, regulating, and supporting services, with cultural services not involved. Positive synergies occur between FP, WP, and CS, while negative synergies relate to regulating services. Geographically, positive synergies are more pronounced in the east, negative ones in the south, and trade-offs are concentrated in the southern watershed. (3) Land-use changes affect ESs differently. Forests are crucial for CS, and grasslands and shrublands are important for SR. Expanding cultivated land and impervious surfaces can degrade WP and SR but can improve LA and FP. The study offers insights for managing ESs and informs better land-use planning in the watershed

With the stable development of the social economy and the continuous improvement of living standards, people increasingly pursue spiritual fulfillment through tourism. Under the current national push for high-quality tourism development and the comprehensive implementation of rural revitalization strategies, while tourism resources flourish, the development of surrounding towns and villages often lags behind scenic areas, creating disparities. By studying the construction and planning of industrial complexes in scenic areas, we can drive further economic development in neighboring towns and villages, increase income, and enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of scenic areas. This study focuses on the Baili Rhododendron Scenic Area, integrating spatial layout optimization, ecological conservation, and cultural inheritance into a holistic planning framework. It explores the "industrial complex" model to achieve natural ecological protection, deep industrial integration, and balanced regional economic development

Research on the Impact of Corporate Green Transformation on Organizational Performance under ESG Strategy Orientation

    Get PDF
Against the backdrop of the intensifying global climate crisis and the deepening consensus on sustainable development, ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) strategy has gradually evolved from a corporate compliance tool to a strategic framework for reshaping core competitiveness. With the tightening of policies and regulations in various countries and the strengthening of green preference in the capital market, the environmental and social pressures faced by enterprises have been transformed from external constraints to internal transformation dynamics. Green transformation is not only a necessary path for companies to cope with regulatory and market risks, but also a key lever to capture long-term value. However, this process is not linear, and its complexity is reflected in the game between short-term cost investment and long-term benefits, and the conflict between technological innovation and organizational inertia. the embedding of ESG strategy provides systematic guidance for green transformation, and through the integration of environmental goals and social responsibility, it promotes the transformation of enterprises from resource-consuming to innovation-driven mode. In this process, the dimension of organizational performance measurement has expanded from single financial indicators to non-financial areas such as innovation ability and brand value, forming a multi-dimensional interactive performance enhancement mechanism. At present, how to realize performance breakthrough through green transformation has become a core proposition in the practice of sustainable development of enterprises
