A Vehicle Routing Problem for Multi-depot Collaborative Delivery Considering Common and Neighboring Customers

    Get PDF
Facing the challenges of delivery cost, efficiency, and security in modern logistics systems, this study investigates a realistic scenario where multiple logistics companies jointly serve a common customer base, and customers' parcels can be picked up by their neighboring customers. By integrating mobile lockers and drones into the delivery process, we propose a multi-depot collaborative delivery vehicle routing problem with common and neighboring customers, and formulate a corresponding mixed-integer programming model. To solve the problem efficiently, a hybrid heuristic algorithm combining Adaptive Large Neighborhood Search and Tabu Search is developed. Numerical experiments demonstrate that collaboration among depots based on common and neighboring customers offers significant advantages: It not only reduces delivery costs but also improves the utilization efficiency of mobile lockers and reduces the required number of lockers. Moreover, the greater the number of depots participating in collaborative delivery, the more pronounced the benefits

As a combination of traditional handicrafts and modern aesthetics, feather handicrafts have shown unique value in the cultural consumer market in recent years. However, their marketing models are still restricted by traditional approaches and it is difficult to accurately reach the target customer groups. With the upgrading of consumption and the rise of personalized needs, the industry is facing pain points such as single channels and unclear audiences, and digital transformation is extremely urgent. The popularization of big data technology provides a transformative tool for precision marketing. By mining consumers' behavioral data and constructing dynamic portraits, market positioning and marketing strategies can be reshaped. Current research mostly focuses on theoretical discussions and lacks practical application in the niche field of feather handicrafts. Exploring precision marketing innovation driven by big data is not only an inevitable trend of technology empowering the industry, but also a key path for traditional handicrafts to break through market bottlenecks and achieve value leap

Efficiency at the Core: How Working Capital Management Relates to Accounting Metrics and Market Performance in the Automotive Industry

    Get PDF
In today’s volatile automotive landscape, working capital management (WCM) functions not just as a back-office efficiency tool, but a strategic lever for financial and shareholder value. This study explores the relationship between WCM components and firm performance both from accounting and market valuation perspectives. It uses a panel dataset of the top ten publicly listed global automotive firms across multiple geographies over a ten-year period.  Firm performance is assessed using accounting indicators of Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE), and market valuation through Tobin’s Q (TOBQ). The analysis focuses on four WCM components: cash conversion cycle (CCC), average receivables days (ARD), average payables days (APD), and inventory days (ITD), employing multiple linear regression (MLR) for empirical testing. The results reveal that ARD and APD are the most influential components. ARD negatively affects both ROA and ROE, while APD has a positive impact, indicating that efficient receivables collection and extended payable terms improve profitability. ITD and CCC were found to be statistically insignificant in accounting performance models. In contrast, TOBQ is negatively affected by both ARD and CCC, implying that longer receivables periods and cash cycles diminish market valuation by heightening liquidity risk and financial leverage. Notably, ROA and not ROE, emerged as a significant predictor of TOBQ, reinforcing the view that operational efficiency, rather than equity-based returns, is more valued by investors. This research adds to the literature by quantifying the dual impact of WCM on internal performance and external valuation in a capital-intensive industry. Although centered on the automotive sector, the findings may be cautiously generalized to other manufacturing industries with similar operational frameworks. The study underscores WCM’s strategic importance as a lever for both internal performance enhancement and external value creation. Our findings offer actionable insights for operational managers and policymakers, emphasizing the need for optimized capital strategies that bridge operational finance and market performance for enhancing shareholder value

Innovation and Practice Exploration of Middle School Physical Education Teaching Methods from the Perspective of Core Literacy

    Get PDF
Under the educational reform background of "cultivating students' core literacy", physical education teaching in middle schools is transforming from the imparting of single skills to "all-round development". Based on the three core competencies of motor ability, healthy behavior and social adaptation proposed in the "Compulsory Education Physical Education and Health Curriculum Standards (2022 Edition)", this article analyzes the limitations of traditional teaching methods in the cultivation of competencies, and systematically constructs innovative strategies such as the integration of "learning, practice, competition and application", contextualized task-driven and differentiated competency development. Explore the paradigm shift of physical education from "knowledge-based" to "competency-based" through the reform of teaching methods. The research suggests that teaching innovation oriented towards core literacy should focus on problem-solving in real situations, strengthen students' active participation in transfer and application, and provide practical paths for cultivating new era individuals with lifelong motor skills and sound personalities

    No full text
This study examines the role of the Zhaohui Pagoda as a spatial narrative element in shaping collective memory and local identity in Gaoling District, Xi’an. Drawing on archival materials, oral histories (n=25 interviews), and on-site observations, we employ grounded theory and discourse analysis to explore how material spaces anchor historical narratives and community belonging. Results indicate that the pagoda’s evolving functions—from religious landmark and defensive watchtower to contemporary cultural marker—have continuously reinforced Gaoling residents’ shared identity. We find that structured engagement through guided narratives and interactive heritage programming strengthens intergenerational memory transmission and civic participation. These findings highlight the importance of integrating community-driven narratives and participatory methods in heritage protection, ensuring cultural continuity while fostering local pride and social cohesion

Brand Establishment and Development Strategies Based on the Inheritance of Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture: The Case of “Jianchang Bang”

    Get PDF
With the deepening implementation of the "Healthy China" strategy and the "Healthy Jiangxi" strategy, Jiangxi Province has incorporated the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) industry into its key development areas, aiming to establish a distinctive regional Chinese medicine industry cluster in southern China. As a living heritage carrier of Jiangxi's TCM culture, the national-level intangible cultural heritage "Jianchang Bang" Chinese medicinal "paozhi" (processing) techniques demonstrate unique advantages in enhancing medicinal efficacy and reducing toxicity through its four characteristic "paozhi" methods—roasting, simmering, and decocting—as well as its comprehensive "paozhi" standards encompassing "form, color, aroma, and taste". However, facing the impact of modern pharmaceutical technologies, this craftsmanship confronts developmental bottlenecks such as fractured inheritance chains, insufficient standardization of techniques, and limited brand recognition. This study employs a Strengths-Weaknesses-Opportunities-Threats (SWOT) analysis to systematically examine the brand's current development status, core challenges, and constraining factors. It proposes targeted countermeasures and recommendations for the brand construction and development of "Jianchang Bang", formulates optimized brand enhancement pathways, and thereby innovates the development level of Jiangxi's Chinese medicinal materials industry

Measurement and Analysis of Opportunity Inequality in Residents' Income

    Get PDF
Based on data from the China Family Panel Studies (CFPS), this study employs a parametric method to measure the degree of opportunity inequality in residents' income. It analyzes the spatial distribution characteristics across eight regions and delves into the contribution mechanisms of grouped environmental variables to income inequality. The empirical findings reveal that family environment factors consistently serve as the core driving force behind income opportunity inequality, with a persistently stable and significant contribution, underscoring the enduring impact of intergenerational transmission. Regional environmental factors exhibit significant fluctuations in their contributions, which are closely synchronized with the evolution of the overall inequality index, highlighting the pivotal role of regional development disparities in shaping inequality patterns. The contribution of individually controllable factors shows a gradual upward trend, providing a buffering effect, particularly during phases of declining opportunity inequality. Overall, the influence of environmental groupings on income inequality is characterized by a three-dimensional dynamic pattern of "family dominance, regional fluctuation, and individual enhancement.

    Get PDF
This paper explores the reasons why public libraries attract visitors by studying the formation mechanism of the public library visitors' perception of worthiness. Taking the New York Public Library as an example, this paper uses the grounded theory method to conduct a qualitative analysis of the online English reviews on the TripAdvisor website, and innovatively combines the perceived value theory with the expectation confirmation theory to classify the perceived worthiness dimensions of visitors', revealing three dimensions of perceivable value: Planning factors, experience factors and outcome factors, as well as six sub-dimensions (main categories): visit expectation, imagination, positive emotions, satisfaction, appreciation and reward. A visitors' expectation confirmation model of perception of worthiness is constructed. The research results of this paper theoretically provide an example for the expectation confirmation theory, supplement multiple dimensions perception of worthiness for the perceived value theory, and provide suggestions for public libraries to play a cultural function, enhance their attractiveness, and meet the diverse needs of visitors in practice

Capacity Building of China's International Communication: Narrative Transition of Civilization and Construction of International Image

    Get PDF
Amidst unprecedented global changes, China's international communication is experiencing systemic transformation. It has made three major leaps: From one-way propaganda to immersive experiences, from single entities to multi-stakeholder collaboration, and from symbolic expression to value resonance. It promotes a "four-dimensional capabilities" innovation mechanism, including cultural appeal, image affinity, persuasive discourse, and public opinion guidance. This serves the strategic goals of enhancing discourse power, optimizing the public opinion environment, and fostering community recognition. Further progress is needed in talent development, regional coordination, content innovation, and technological integration. The essence of international communication is the transformation of civilizational narratives and the construction of China's global image. Future development should focus on enhancing cultural transcoder capabilities, deepening emotional investment, and building value consensus, facilitating a transition from "debater" to "proponent "and contributing Chinese wisdom to a global community with a shared future

On the C-E Translation of Culture-Specific Expressions from the Perspective of Eco-Translatology: A Case Study of English Translation of Report on the Work of Nanchang Municipal Government

    Get PDF
With the deepening of globalization, China has closer ties with other countries in the world. Under this premise, the translation of external publicity is particularly important. As one of the external publicity texts, the Report on the Work of the Government (RWG) involves many fields such as social development, national planning and people's livelihood. And for translating Culture-specific Expressions, it is a clear aim to enable readers from other countries based on different cultural contexts to understand our government’s work in the past year and define the objectives, policies and measures for future work via the translation. The Report on the Work of Nanchang Municipal Government (RWNMG) mainly deals with the summary of Nanchang's work and the prospect of all aspects of the government's work scheme in the future. It involves some new concepts and new terms with distinctive local characteristics and features of the times. Eco-Translatology was put forward by Professor Hu Gengshen in 2001, and it constantly explores translation from the perspective of ecology and gives a new description of the essence and process of translation based on the principles of "adaptation" and "selection". Professor Hu studies the relationship between the Eco-environment of translation and the translator and puts forward three-dimensional transformation. Under the guidance of Eco-Translatology, this translation practice attempts to discuss the translation of the culture-specific expressions in RWNMG at lexical level, syntactic level and rhetorical level. The purpose is to analyze the translation of culture-specific expressions in RWNMG, and summarize the relevant translation methods and skills through the adaptation and selection of three-dimensional transformation from the linguistic dimension, cultural dimension and communicative dimension. This paper aims to find methods to deal with English translation of culture-specific expressions, so as to improve the quality of the translation
