Research on Learning Satisfaction in Public Physical Education Courses at Higher Education Institutions
Get PDFThis study investigates students’ satisfaction with public physical education courses at higher education institutions, aiming to understand their overall evaluations and the factors that influence them. Drawing on domestic and international literature, we designed a questionnaire encompassing four dimensions—teaching staff quality, course content, instructional organization, and facility infrastructure—and collected 500 valid responses from five universities. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze respondents’ demographic characteristics and satisfaction distributions. Reliability and validity of the scale were assessed via Cronbach’s α and exploratory/confirmatory factor analyses. Group differences by gender, year level, and major were examined through t-tests and one-way ANOVA, and a multiple linear regression model was employed to explore the effects of each dimension on overall satisfaction. Findings indicate that overall satisfaction is above average, with significant differences across gender, year level, and major. Teaching staff quality, course content and organization, and facility conditions all have significant positive impacts on satisfaction. This research provides empirical support for reforming and enhancing public physical education courses, recommending improvements in faculty training, course design, and facilities to further enrich students’ learning experiences and course quality
Research on the Reconstruction of the Teaching Model for University Ideological and Political Theory Courses from the Perspective of Human-Computer Collaboration
Get PDFWith the rapid development of generative artificial intelligence technology, the traditional teaching model for university ideological and political theory courses is facing a profound transformation. This study, based on human-computer collaboration theory and constructivist learning theory, and through in-depth investigation of teaching practices in universities such as Zhejiang University, constructs a teaching model for ideological and political courses that integrates digital human lecturing, AI-assisted learning, human-computer co-creation, and intelligent assessment. The study adopts a mixed-methods research approach to analyze the teaching experiment data of more than 5,000 students. The results show that this model can significantly increase student classroom participation by 30-50%, and 85% of students indicated that their learning interest was significantly enhanced. The study finds that the human-computer collaborative teaching model, through a deep integration of technological empowerment and value inheritance, effectively solves the problems existing in traditional ideological and political course teaching, such as theoretical abstraction, low participation, and insufficient personalization. However, the promotion and application of the model still face challenges such as technological maturity, faculty competence, and ethical risks, which need to be addressed through systematic policy support, capacity building, and collaborative innovation
Reforming Movement Education Preparation for Pre-service Preschool Teachers in Vocational Colleges' Preschool Education Programs: Policies, Practices, and Challenges
Get PDFMovement education in early childhood is foundational to motor competence, physical literacy, and lifelong health. In China, national strategies like "Healthy China 2030" and the "Outline for Building a Strong Sports Country" mandate high-quality physical activity in preschools. However, gaps persist in preparing pre-service preschool teachers, particularly in vocational colleges that train the majority of early childhood educators. This study systematically reviews 123 studies (2005 - June 2025) to analyze how post-2022 policy reforms shaped movement education training in vocational colleges. Key findings reveal persistent issues: Curriculum misalignment with child development, limited training in inclusive and play-based pedagogies, inadequate facilities and faculty preparation, and weak kindergarten partnerships. It concludes by proposing an integrated, competency-based module aligned with physical literacy and national policies to enhance teacher self-efficacy and practices
Integrating Formative Assessment with Adult Learning Theory for Enhanced Digital Learning Platforms
Get PDFRapid advances in information technology have transformed education, enabling the proliferation of digital learning platforms (DLPs) that support flexible and diverse learning modalities. Concurrently, the growing demand for adult lifelong learning highlights the need to tailor digital platforms to the unique characteristics of adult learners, including autonomy, experiential grounding, and intrinsic motivation. Formative Assessment (FA), emphasizing continuous feedback and reflective engagement, offers a promising approach to enhancing learning effectiveness. However, existing DLPs often lack systematic integration of FA principles with adult learning theory (ALT), limiting their pedagogical impact. This study proposes the FA–ALT–DLP Integration Model, synthesizing formative assessment practices, adult learning principles, and digital platform affordances. The model operationalizes four key dimensions: supporting learner autonomy, personalizing feedback, leveraging experiential knowledge, and facilitating critical reflection. By aligning pedagogical intent with technological capabilities and adult learner characteristics, the model provides both theoretical insights and practical guidance for optimizing digital platforms. The study contributes to educational research by bridging assessment, adult education, and technology-enhanced learning, and offers actionable strategies for platform designers and educators to foster autonomous, reflective, and transformative learning experiences among adult learners

Challenges and Solutions for Occupational Injury Protection of Workers in New Forms of Employment

However, the current work injury insurance system cannot cover this group, leaving them with weak resilience against risks when facing accidents. Platforms, as the employing entities, also shirk their responsibilities.Given the growing size of this workforce, urgent interim measures for occupational injury protection should be introduced to fulfil the role of work injury insurance. Subsequently, relevant laws and regulations should be gradually amended to decouple entitlement to work injury insurance benefits from the strict requirement of establishing a formal labor relationship.This would expand coverage to more workers, effectively transforming work injury insurance into a de facto occupational injury insurance scheme
Research on Optimization Strategies of Private College Students' Participation in Student Community Governance from the Perspective of Synergy Theory
Get PDFWith the deepening of higher education reform, the construction of "one-stop" student communities in private colleges has become an important path to improve educational efficiency and management level. However, compared with public colleges, private colleges face more significant collaborative dilemmas in the process of students' participation in community governance. Based on the perspective of synergy theory, this paper deeply analyzes the evolution process and current situation of "one-stop" student community construction in private colleges, and focuses on revealing the existing collaborative problems: information silos between departments lead to fragmented decision-making, uneven resource allocation restricts service balance, traditional management inertia weakens students' participation efficiency, and lack of institutional guarantees affects the sustainability of participation. The root cause lies in the tension between the unique "board-led president responsibility system" in the governance structure of private colleges and the bureaucratic management model, as well as insufficient understanding of students' subject status. To this end, this paper proposes systematic optimization strategies: first, construct a "multi-subject collaborative governance" mechanism, clarify the rights, responsibilities and interests among the board of directors, administrative departments, student work teams and students, and improve the student congress system; second, build a "digital intelligent collaborative sharing platform", use information technology to break data barriers, and establish a mechanism for accurate identification of needs and dynamic allocation of resources; third, implement a "capacity-incentive" dual-drive plan, improve students' literacy and ability to participate in governance through systematic training, and build an incentive mechanism that combines material and spiritual incentives; fourth, create an "inclusive collaborative cultural ecology", strengthen community identity under the leadership of the Party building, and cultivate an open, trusting and cooperative governance atmosphere. This study aims to provide theoretical reference and practical guidance for private colleges to break through governance bottlenecks, stimulate students' main vitality, and realize the modernization of community governance[1]
The Root Causes of Political Polarization: Role of the Youth
Get PDFThis study aims to determine the main factor causing polarization within the United States by interviewing the youth population—hearing their perspective and their experience on politics. Through comprehensive literature analysis and evaluation of current scholarly arguments on the main cause of political polarization, I found that there is no single factor that causes polarization, but through a combination of all factors. Additionally, this paper shares the ideas and viewpoints of adolescents (ages 16-19) on current politics, which offers a glimpse of potential problems that the government should consider fixing. Polarization is currently on the rise and has broached major debates among researchers and also concerns among adolescents
A Praat-Based Study on the Vowel Features in Chongqing Hip-Hop Lyrics
Get PDFChongqing dialect, having experienced the waves of ethnic migration, has given birth to distinctive linguistic features. Since the 1980s, academic research on the Chongqing dialect has gradually increased. However, most studies have only scratched the surface in terms of vocabulary, semantics, and phonological characteristics, with few attempts to delve into its internal phonetic structure. This study addresses this gap by using Praat software and theories of tongue position and formants to analyze rhyme vowels in Chongqing hip-hop lyrics. It examines formant frequencies (F1, F2, F3), pitch, and duration of vowels from local hip-hop artists' works. Results reveal that these vowels have distinct regional acoustic characteristics, differing from standard Mandarin, with lower formant frequencies aligning with the dialect's low-pitched nature. In addition, the study confirmed the phonetic changes that occurred in the 1970s, such as /ɤ/ → /ɛ/, /aʊ/, /uɔ/. This research enriches our understanding of Chongqing dialect's acoustic features and offers new insights for interdisciplinary studies in dialect phonetics and music linguistics
