    Human-AI in Digital Media: Effects on Digital Twins and the Moderating Role of Personalized Advertising

    Digital media technology has revolutionized various industries, particularly through its integration with digital twin (DT) technology. A digital twin is a dynamic virtual model of a physical object, system, or process that enables real-time simulation, optimization, and data-driven decision-making. This study investigates the impact of digital media technology on digital twins, with a specific focus on the moderating role of Human-AI-driven personalized advertising. Adopting a qualitative research approach, this study utilizes semi-structured interviews with industry experts and case study analyses of companies leveraging digital twins. Grounded in the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Media Richness Theory (MRT), the findings reveal that digital media technology, enhanced by Human-AI innovation, improves digital twins by increasing interactivity, real-time data transmission, and user engagement. Moreover, Human-AI-driven personalized advertising strengthens this relationship by fostering deeper consumer engagement, enhancing brand loyalty, and enabling real-time customization in digital twin ecosystems. This study offers both theoretical and practical contributions by bridging digital media technology, digital twins, Human-AI innovation, and marketing personalization strategies

    Against the backdrop of the deep integration of the "Great Ideological and Political Education" initiative and the "Simultaneous Development of Five Aspects of Education" in the new era, ideological and political education in universities urgently requires paradigm innovation to enhance its educational effectiveness. This study takes red music aesthetic education—a unique vehicle integrating aesthetic education and value guidance—as its starting point. Grounded in the rich red cultural resources of Shanghai, the birthplace of the Party, and using Shanghai Civil Aviation College, a higher vocational institution with distinct industry characteristics, as the specific research field, this study conducts a systematic theoretical and practical exploration. The paper first deeply analyzes the ideological and political education functions and contemporary value inherent in red music aesthetic education. It then introduces "Reception Aesthetics" and "Emotion-Cognition Theory" to construct a theoretical analytical framework for its mechanism of action on students' psychological processes. Through empirical investigation, the research precisely identifies the characteristics of ideological and political acceptance among current civil aviation vocational students and the practical difficulties of existing educational models. On this basis, it fully excavates and systematically organizes the historical context, artistic features, and potential for educational transformation of Shanghai's red music resources. The core part innovatively proposes a systematic integration model comprising the "Value-Objective Layer - Content-Resource Layer - Practice-Pathway Layer - Effect-Evaluation Layer," and elaborates in detail on the specific implementation pathways driven by four dimensions: "Curriculum Teaching - Practical Activities - Cultural Immersion - Digital Empowerment." Finally, the research designs a scientific evaluation system to test effectiveness and prospectively proposes implementation safeguards and risk mitigation strategies. It aims to provide a replicable and scalable innovative plan for ideological and political education for characteristic civil aviation institutions and the broader field of higher vocational education, ultimately serving the cultivation of politically steadfast, technically proficient, and culturally confident builders of a strong civil aviation nation in the new era

    Bridging Academic and Vocational Pathways in Upper Secondary Education: Comparative Perspectives from Estonia and the United States

    This article examines transformations in upper secondary vocational education in two countries – Estonia and the United States – focusing on the status and perception of vocational education and developments in curricula. A qualitative document analysis of policy reports, academic studies, and national statistics was conducted to compare how each country is bridging academic and vocational learning. Our findings indicate that well-designed reforms can play a key role in reshaping vocational education to promote flexibility and coherence between the vocational and academic tracks. The results show that in the USA, Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs have managed to significantly increase the interest and participation of young people in vocational education programs, and the latest data shows 85% of all high school graduates took at least one career and technical education course. Their experience serves as an important input for the further reform in Estonia

    The Strategic Value of Vocational Education in the Era of New Quality Productive Forces

    China’s proposal of the concept of New Quality Productive Forces (NQPF) underscores the growing importance of scientific innovation, industrial upgrading, and high-caliber human capital in driving high-quality development. Against this backdrop, this study investigates the strategic value of vocational education in supporting and shaping the formation of New Quality Productive Forces. It argues that vocational education has moved beyond its conventional function of cultivating operationally skilled workers and has become an essential institutional force that links technological innovation with industrial application, promotes intelligent and green transformation across sectors, and enhances governance modernization. Despite its rising strategic importance, vocational education still confronts several deep-rooted structural challenges, including persistent mismatches between talent supply and emerging industrial demands, pronounced regional disparities in educational quality, insufficient industrial experience among teachers, lagging curriculum renewal mechanisms, and fragmented governance structures. To overcome these constraints, the paper proposes an integrated reform framework that emphasizes system-level restructuring, more substantive industry–education integration, the development of dual-qualified teaching teams, accelerated digital and intelligent curriculum transformation, and modernized governance mechanisms. The analysis concludes that vocational education serves not only as a foundational support system for New Quality Productive Forces but also as a critical strategic driver of China’s modernization. By aligning talent cultivation with technological trajectories and industrial evolution, vocational education holds the potential to significantly enhance innovation capacity, industrial competitiveness, and inclusive social development

    Unreliable Narration Against a Reliable Historical Backdrop: On the Anti‑Authoritarian Literary Reconfiguration of History in Mo Yan's Fiction

    Overseas scholarship on Mo Yan has often proceeded from narratology and postmodern theory, while domestic scholarship has tended to foreground his representations of local history. Yet few studies systematically integrate these two strands. Against this background, the present article examines how, upon "reliable historical anchors," Mo Yan deploys multi‑dimensional strategies of unreliable narration to construct a literary reconfiguration of history and thereby achieve cultural critique. Through close reading, the paper analyzes three representative works—Red Sorghum, Life and Death Are Wearing Me Out, and Frog—from the perspectives of narratology, historiographic metafiction, and historical‑cultural studies. The paper shows how China's modern and contemporary social transformations and local memories are absorbed and rewritten in Mo Yan's fiction, and the paper clarifies the cultural‑critical intents embedded therein. The study identifies how this "literary reconfiguration of history" is built and articulates three anti‑authoritarian implications: challenging orthodox historical discourse, resisting the unification of collective memory, and reflecting on the violence and alienation within modernization

    A Review of the Effectiveness of Three Main Types of Stress-Reduction Products

    There is an increasing customer need for stress relief and promoting wellbeing, leading to many innovative stress relief products. Developers claim these products can reduce stress and boost well-being, but do they actually work? This study aims to examine how different products’ effectiveness varies by demographic factors through three selected product categories that are associated with stress relief: Aromatherapy, fidget toys, and mindfulness apps. Research indicates relatively stronger effectiveness of direct inhalation aromatherapy and massage aromatherapy compared to indirect inhalation aromatherapy, while showing its potential as an effective placebo. Fidget toys tend to have low effectiveness in stress relief for typically developing students, but have shown effectiveness in decreasing activity level for students with attention difficulties. Mindfulness apps show higher effectiveness in stress alleviation for adolescents with higher levels of rumination, particularly when used in conjunction with longer or more frequent meditation sessions. Overall, current studies suggest that these products are generally effective, though specific contexts and demographics may make them more or less effective, making them suitable for different users' needs

    Human and Non-human Networks in Baihualing: A Case Study of the Birdwatching Industry

    This paper uses Actor-Network Theory (ANT) to analyze how human and non-human stakeholders directly and indirectly involved in Baihualing birdwatching industry jointly contribute the local economic and ecological network. The research is based on a fieldwork carried out in the summer of 2025 in Baoshan, Yunnan, adopting a combination of participant observation and semi-structured interviews. The initial intention was to discuss uncivilized behaviors during birdwatching, such as bird baiting, and their effects on the environment. However, the results of fieldwork reveal the dynamic balance between bird protection and ecotourism development with villagers’ voluntary rules establishment, profit allocation and ecological management. The findings also highlight how Baihualing birdwatching industry boost villagers’ income, while promoting ecological protection. In the future, Baihualing should continuously pay attention to maintaining this balance and preventing overdevelopment

    An Enhanced Genetic Algorithm Framework for Efficiently Solving Balanced and Unbalanced Assignment Problems

    This study proposes a genetic algorithm (GA)-based approach for solving assignment problems, aiming to minimize costs or maximize profits by determining optimal resource allocations for tasks in both balanced and unbalanced cases. Genetic algorithms, inspired by the concept of natural selection, are widely recognized for their flexibility in handling complex optimization problems. In this research, tournament selection is used to identify the best candidates based on a fitness function that minimizes total cost. A specialized crossover strategy focuses on selecting the lowest-cost assignments with the highest penalty costs. Additionally, swap mutation is applied to prevent redundant assignments. Various numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in practical situations. Over time, several techniques like the Maximum Difference Cost Method, New Revised Zero's to One's Method, Bottleneck Cost Method, Modified Ant Colony Optimization Algorithm, and Matrix One's Assignment Method have been developed to handle assignment problems. Among these, the Hungarian Method, introduced in 1955, is well known for providing accurate solutions to small and medium-sized problems. However, this study introduces a novel and generalized approach using a genetic algorithm that can efficiently solve assignment problems involving any number of jobs and machines. The effectiveness of the proposed method has been validated through experiments on benchmark problems and randomly generated datasets for both balanced and unbalanced scenarios. The numerical results confirm the practical applicability of the proposed method and its potential as a powerful tool for solving real-world assignment problems

    Sentiment and Personality Shifts in Code-Switching: A Transformer-Based NLP Analysis

    Cultural frame switching posits that bilinguals adjust their personalities according to the cultural context of the language they speak. Prior research explored this through psycholinguistic surveys and self reported data. With advances in Natural Language Processing and transformer architectures, this study reexamines cultural frame switching using machine learning methods. We computationally test whether bilingual personality expression varies across code-switched and monolingual speech, using sentiment deltas as proxies for personality shifts. Leveraging the SEAME corpus (110,145 utterances:57,052 code-switched,28,655 English monolingual, 24,438 Mandarin monolingual, 156 speakers), five transformer-based sentiment classifiers were applied to each entry. All models detected significant sentiment differences across language bins, with three of four sentiment-tuned models showing consistent relative orderings between code-switched, English, and Mandarin speech, while one outlier model produced inconsistent results. Statistical analysis supports the psychological theory of cultural frame switching
