    Research on the Realization Mechanism of Promoting Provincial Common Prosperity in China through Urban-Rural Integration Development

    Under the guidance of the goal of common prosperity in the new era, urban-rural integration development is not only an inherent requirement for solving the problems of unbalanced and insufficient development in China’s provinces, but also an important path for steadily promoting common prosperity in the new development stage. Based on the panel data of 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) in China from 2014 to 2023, this paper uses the entropy method to measure the level of urban-rural integration development and common prosperity, conducts a spatio-temporal evolution analysis of urban-rural integration development and common prosperity level, and uses the spatial lag model to analyze the impact of urban-rural integration on common prosperity and its spatial effect. The results show that: 1) The urban-rural integration development and common prosperity in China are in a state of steady annual increase, and there are certain differences in the current levels among provinces; 2) The level of common prosperity in China has a significant positive spatial correlation, and there is an obvious positive spatial spillover effect among the levels of common prosperity in provinces. Finally, relevant policy suggestions for promoting provincial common prosperity in China through urban-rural integration development are put forward from aspects such as coordinating resource allocation, giving play to the role of policy intervention, implementing differentiated opening-up policies, promoting urban-rural education equality, optimizing the industrial structure, and supporting scientific and technological innovation

    A Study on Cyborgized Body Presentation in Social Media and the Identity Anxiety of Young Women

    In the contemporary digital milieu, the bodily presentation of young women on social media is undergoing a profound process of cyborgization. Through the pervasive use of beautification filters, AI-generated avatars, and cosmetic surgery discourses, the human body is perpetually edited, enhanced, and reconstructed, creating a cyborgized entity that transcends physical limitations and blurs the boundary between the real and the virtual. This paper aims to investigate the construction mechanisms of this phenomenon and its consequential impact on the identity anxiety of young women. Drawing upon key theoretical frameworks from post-humanism, surveillance studies, and social theory, this study analyzes the primary construction pathways of the cyborgized body. It critically examines how this mode of presentation exacerbates identity anxiety by fostering a severe online-offline identity schism, perpetuating relentless social comparison under a pervasive algorithmic gaze, and framing the body as a perpetually unfinished project that demands constant optimization. Finally, this study moves beyond a narrative of victimization to discuss the complex agency and potential for resistance among young women, acknowledging that the cyborgized body is simultaneously a site of intense discipline and a potential nexus for empowerment, creative self-expression, and ambivalent negotiation

    Community-Embedded Child Protection: Lessons from China's Child Directors System for Global Policy Innovation

    The Child Directors System represents a landmark innovation in China’s child protection framework by institutionalizing grassroots personnel dedicated to safeguarding children in need. Established under the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the system appoints trained individuals in villages and communities to identify, refer, and coordinate services for vulnerable children. This study examines its origins, institutional design, and mechanisms. It highlights broad coverage, early intervention, and multi-sectoral collaboration as key strengths. Through structured training, fiscal support, digital tools, and performance incentives, the model improves accessibility, responsiveness, and service integration. The analysis shows that the system functions as a bridge between national policy and community realities. It offers transferable lessons for countries with dispersed populations and limited social work resources

    How Digital Media Reconstructs Cultural Identity: An Analysis Based on the Inheritors of Horqin Embroidery

    Against the backdrop of the parallel development of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) protection and digital dissemination, this study takes the national-level ICH of Horqin embroidery as a case to focus on the mechanisms through which digital media reconstructs the cultural identity of the Mongol ethnic group. From a journalism and communication studies perspective, this research conducts an empirical analysis based on in-depth interviews with 12 Horqin embroidery inheritors and related groups across different generations. It reveals the dynamic pathways by which exposure to digital information shapes cultural identity through the activation of collective memory and the modulation of nostalgic sentiments. The study finds that the use of digital media exhibits significant generational differentiation: the youth are primarily characterized by visual consumption and reflective nostalgia, whereas the middle-aged and elderly groups rely on traditional craftsmanship and restorative nostalgia to maintain cultural authenticity. Digital platforms reconfigure the value judgment system for women through a tripartite mechanism of "skill mediatization, evaluation standardization, and subject transformation." The ritualized practice of collective memory becomes a living carrier for cultural identity. At the same time, the construction of a "mimetic community of inheritors" balances the conflict between commercial logic and cultural preservation. This study introduces the concept of the "mimetic community of inheritors" for the first time to explain how digital media reconstructs the field of cultural transmission through virtual communities. It also proposes strategies such as a "deep dissemination" mechanism and intergenerational collaborative workshops, offering methodological references for the digital protection of ICH. This research fills a gap in micro-empirical studies on ICH transmission in the digital era. It provides a communicological perspective that sheds light on pathways for the creative transformation of fine traditional Chinese culture

    A Comparative Study of Chinese and Japanese News Reports on Sino-Japanese Agreement on Fukushima Nuclear-Contaminated Water Discharge —A Critical Discourse Analysis

    This study explored narratives of cooperation in international environmental governance through a Critical Discourse Analysis of Chinese and Japanese media reports on the agreement reached between the two countries regarding the oceanic discharge of Fukushima nuclear-contaminated water. This qualitative study combined Fairclough's three-dimensional model with van Dijk's socio-cognitive approach to analyze the linguistic devices, narrative structures, and ideological stances of relevant reports in China Daily and The Japan News. The comparative study revealed that China Daily emphasizes environmental security and multilateral cooperation through the narrative of China as a "responsible power," while The Japan News embeds this agreement within geopolitical contexts and focuses more heavily on the economic and diplomatic implications behind the agreement. These findings suggest that, even when constructing discourses of cooperation, media outlets adopt complex discursive strategies that reflect national socio-political priorities and serve national interests. This study provided a multidimensional perspective for discourse analysis of environmental diplomacy and offered insights into the challenges of cross-cultural communication in international environmental governance

    Technical Note on Finite Element Analysis of Macroscopic Carbon Nanotube Reinforced Concrete Columns

    This pilot study exposes the first ever made of its kind and reveals behaviour of Carbon Nanotube (CNT) bar reinforced concrete columns at macroscopic level. The Ultra High Strength Concrete columns having compressive strength from 100 Mpa to 1000 Mpa and reinforced with CNT bars were simulated using finite element analysis software ANSYS 18. Among the twenty simulated compressive members, strength enhancement of 75% than their counterparts made of steel reinforced concrete columns was explored. The investigation was further extended to derive equations to find the compressive strength of CNT reinforced concrete columns. This novel equation reveals the column capacity of slender compression members reinforced with CNT bars. The feasibility of using CNTs as reinforcements at macro level were analysed analytically and the results proved positivity

    Adaptive Containment Control for Nonlinear Multi-Agent Systems with Input Quantization and Sensor Faults

    This study investigates the adaptive containment control problem for a class of nonlinear multi-agent systems with input quantization and sensor faults. A state observer and a radial basis function neural network are respectively employed to estimate unmeasurable states and approximate unknown nonlinear functions. An absolute cubic Lyapunov function is designed to compensate for the influence of sensor faults on the systems. A filter is introduced to reduce computational complexity. Adaptive laws are developed to update the estimates of uncertain dynamic parameters, fault coefficients, and the filter-error compensation term. A distributed adaptive control scheme is proposed to ensure that all followers converge to the convex hull formed by the leaders. The stability of the closed-loop system is strictly proved based on stability theory, and the effectiveness of the proposed control method is verified by numerical simulation

    In this paper, Pearson correlation analysis was used to correlate the different mixing ratios of the three pyrolysis combinations with the associated pyrolysis product yields. Then, a paired-sample t-test model was used to explore whether the catalyst DFA plays an important catalytic role in promoting the pyrolysis of CS, CE and LG. In order to address the effect of mixing ratios of pyrolysis combinations on the yields, this paper plotted line graphs with the mixing ratios of pyrolysis combinations as the horizontal axis and the pyrolysis gas yields as the vertical axis, and interpreted the effect of mixing ratios on the yields of each gas according to the trend of each gas

    Esophageal cancer (EC) is one of the common malignancies with high morbidity and mortality. Despite the effectiveness of modern medical interventions such as surgery, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy in treating EC, complications and adverse reactions still exist. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) plays a crucial role in preventing and treating malignant tumors by employing its unique approach based on syndrome differentiation and the concept of wholism. Numerous fundamental experiments and clinical studies have provided substantial evidence supporting the beneficial effects of TCM in managing EC. The pathogenesis of EC and the potential mechanism of TCM intervention in EC treatment are summarized in this review, aiming to offer a novel perspective for EC therapy

    Research on the Construction of an Evaluation System for the Diversion Effect of Urban Tourist Flow

    To address the challenge of assessing real-time urban tourist flow diversion effectiveness, this study incorporates knowledge graph technology, leveraging extensive research results as foundational data. Through the steps of information extraction, knowledge fusion and knowledge processing of the keywords of the article, the index system was preliminarily established by combining the quantitative and qualitative methods of expert consultation. In this study, the Delphi method was used to optimize the index system, and an evaluation index system consisting of 1 standard-level index, 6 system-level indicators and 21 index-level indicators was constructed. Then, the analytic hierarchy process was used to calculate the weights of the index system. Through research and interviews, practical experience and literature to determine the index measurement and scoring rules, combined with the national scientific and technological innovation project based on this institute, the pilot evaluation of tourist flow regulation in Suzhou, Tianshui, Wuhu and other places was carried out, and the evaluation system and method were verified. This comprehensive method, which is based on a knowledge graph and combines qualitative and quantitative approaches, offers a novel idea for constructing an index system, especially in the absence of mature theoretical references and practical experiences. This study effectively solves the problem of the evaluation system of the effectiveness of urban tourist flow control, and has strong theoretical innovation and practical significance
