Influence of Outer Zone Water Distribution Density on Anti-Freezing Performance of Cooling Towers

    Get PDF
This research mechanistically probes boundary-layer flow distribution effects on freeze-risk mitigation in cooling towers via FLUENT-based CFD simulations for a 300MW coal-fired unit. Thermodynamic analysis of effluent temperatures across varying loads (50%/75%/100%) and circulating flow rates confirms that modulating water spray density effectively enhances freeze resistance. Critically, maintaining 11.26 kg/(m²·s) at full load ensures temperatures ≥15°C,inhibiting extensive ice formation. These findings establish a viable operational strategy for cold-region power plants

Environmental Policy on Ocean Flower Island: An Actor-Network Perspective

    Get PDF
Ocean Flower Island, as a landmark artificial tourism project in the context of Hainan Free Trade Port, has become a typical case of a “failed megaproject” due to the China Evergrande Group’s financial collapse and ecological controversies. This study, based on field research and interviews conducted in Danzhou, Hainan, adopts Actor-Network Theory (ANT) as an analytical framework, and explores the interactions among multiple actors in the practice of environmental policy on Ocean Flower Island. Actors range widely from government, developers, local residents, tourists, to non-human entities. The findings reveal gaps in policy implementation, tensions between local governance and central environmental objectives, and structural contradictions between economic development and environmental protection. This paper provides a case study of environmental governance and regional development in the Hainan Free Trade Port through the lens of ANT

Research on the Legal Nature of Shareholders' Meeting Resolutions

    Get PDF
The legal nature of shareholders' meeting resolutions is a core controversial issue at the intersection of company law and civil law theories. The academic circle has long debated between two major schools of thought: the Non-Legal Act Theory and the Legal Act Theory. The Non-Legal Act Theory includes the Will-Formation Theory and the Commercial Act Theory: the former holds that a resolution is merely the process of forming the company's will and not a legal act; the latter argues that a resolution is a commercial act and also not a legal act. The Legal Act Theory is subdivided into the Joint Act Theory, the Unilateral Legal Act Theory, and the Resolution Act Theory: the Unilateral Legal Act Theory regards a resolution as an independent unilateral legal act performed by the company; the Resolution Act Theory holds that a resolution is an independent type of legal act; the Joint Act Theory maintains that a resolution is a joint act among multi-party legal acts. The nature of a resolution act should be a joint act within the category of legal acts. The Non-Legal Act Theory is unreasonable as it ignores the group law attribute of resolutions and the lack of doctrinal operability of commercial acts themselves. Among the Legal Act Theory, the Unilateral Legal Act Theory deviates from the commercial law principle of autonomy of will, and the Resolution Act Theory neglects that a resolution act is essentially the result of consensus reached through declarations of will, both of which are unreasonable. The Joint Act Theory best conforms to the characteristics of resolution acts and is worthy of adoption due to its rationality

Research on Multiple Development Paths of Urban Productivity—Based on Dynamic Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA)

    Get PDF
As the spatial carrier of human economic, social, and cultural development, cities should adapt to the times and situations to usher in a new era of urban development. To achieve this, it is necessary to deeply stimulate the multidimensional driving forces of urban development to guide and propel it forward. Based on China's urban panel data spanning from 2017 to 2021, this paper employs dynamic qualitative comparative analysis methods, grounded in institutional and evolutionary theories, to examine strategies for fostering diverse pathways for urban productivity growth. The key findings are as follows: (1) The concerted effort of multiple factors is crucial for achieving high urban productivity, which can be categorized into three primary models: government-led, credit order-driven, and dual-driven. (2) An analysis of temporal stability reveals that the consistency of these three models experiences a turning point in 2019. (3) Property rights protection and judicial services emerge as relatively stable factors. The study concludes that to break through bottlenecks in urban productivity development, the construction of China's urban business environment must not only be tailored to local conditions but also adapt to changing times

A Study on the Motivation and Economic Consequences of Corporate Controlling Equity

    Get PDF
This study analyzes the motivations and economic consequences of corporate controlling equity behavior among Chinese listed companies, especially in the context of high-quality development goals. Through qualitative case analysis of firms such as Greenland Group, Alibaba, and Vanke, the research identifies three dominant motives: shell listing, strategic fit, and merger & acquisition (M&A) demands. Economic consequences include stakeholder conflicts, shareholder agency issues, and stock volatility. By adopting agency theory and stakeholder theory frameworks, this study recommends implementing equity checks and balances, aligning control with strategy, and ensuring long-term financial sustainability. The findings contribute to understanding how control dynamics shape corporate governance and financial performance in emerging markets

Factors Influencing Secretarial Personnel's Willingness to Remain in the Information Cocoon Based on Push-Pull-Mooring (PPM) Theory

    Get PDF
The information cocoon effect is becoming increasingly prominent. Secretarial positions, which serve as crucial nodes for organizational information acquisition, processing, and dissemination, are susceptible to being trapped in closed information environments. Based on the Push-Pull-Mooring (PPM) theoretical framework, this study constructs a theoretical model incorporating information similarity, social influence, and decision-making rationality as push factors; information overload, perceived active control of information, and algorithmic influence as pull factors; and information selection tendency and behavioral rigidity as mooring factors. We design an indicator system for each level of the model and empirically test it through a questionnaire survey of secretarial staff. The study reveals the multi-dimensional mechanisms underlying secretarial personnel’s willingness to remain in information cocoons. It also provides recommendations from the perspectives of secretarial staff, platform algorithms, and the information supply side to help secretaries break out of the information cocoon predicament and enhance their information work performance

Research on the Path of College Students' Contributing to Rural Culture Construction in the Context of Rural Revitalization Strategy

    Get PDF
As the central priority of China's “Agriculture, Rural Areas, and Farmers” initiatives in the new era, the Rural Revitalization Strategy confronts practical challenges of cultural hollowing-out and intergenerational discontinuity during the modernization of agriculture and rural communities. The paradoxical coexistence of diminishing traditional farming heritage and imbalanced contemporary cultural resources establishes the cultivation of rural cultural ethos as a critical breakthrough point for strategic implementation. University students emerge as innovative catalysts for revitalizing rural cultural heritage through their knowledge capital and modern perspectives. Their engagement addresses dual imperatives: remedying talent deficits in grassroots cultural governance and facilitating bidirectional cultural exchange between urban and rural systems. Current practices reveal systemic constraints including fragmented participation, misalignment between supply and demand of cultural services, and insufficient institutionalization mechanisms, necessitating comprehensive solutions. This study investigates the operational dilemmas and breakthrough strategies of student-led cultural interventions, grounded in the coupling logic of cultural rejuvenation and human capital development. Based on the coupling logic of cultural revitalization and talent revitalization, this paper focuses on the realistic dilemma and breakthrough path of college students' participation in rural cultural construction, and provides theoretical reference for the construction of sustainable rural cultural ecology

The Level of Agricultural Mechanization, the Scale of Agricultural Operation and the Income Gap Between Urban and Rural Areas

    Get PDF
Agricultural mechanization is an effective way to improve farmers' income, and increasing farmers' income is the key means to narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas, and narrowing the income gap between urban and rural areas is one of the key factors to realize the integrated development of urban and rural areas. Based on the relevant statistical data of China from 2010 to 2020, a two-way fixed effect model was established to analyze the impact of agricultural machinery intervention on the income gap between urban and rural areas. The results show that the improvement of agricultural mechanization level has a significant positive impact on the convergence of urban-rural income gap. Its mechanism of action is to promote the increase of farmers' income and narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas, mainly through two paths: obtaining economies of scale through large-scale agricultural operation and providing agricultural machinery social services to improve operating income. Heterogeneity analysis showed that the improvement of agricultural mechanization level had a more significant effect on the convergence of urban-rural income gap in eastern China and non-main grain producing areas. Finally, it is suggested to develop mechanized agriculture according to local conditions, give diversified policy support to farmers to purchase agricultural machinery, improve the construction of socialized service system of agricultural machinery, ensure that land use rights can be transferred in an orderly manner, and further improve the relevant systems to support the development of large-scale agricultural operation

    Get PDF
In recent years, with the deepening of reform and opening up, the consumption level of our people has been increasing day by day. In the past, "having enough to eat" has been difficult to meet the people's high requirements for food. At the same time, the food poisoning happened all over the country, which appeared in the major news media, and the organic agricultural products also came into being. Compared with other eastern coastal cities, the development of organic agricultural products in Linfen City lags behind, and the incomplete industrial system also inhibits the sales of organic grapes. This paper draws lessons from the works of outstanding scholars at home and abroad on organic agricultural products, and uses the professional theory of marketing, so that the research finds that the sales channels of Beixi organic grapes are too single, and there is no effective use of the Internet and other publicity channels. In view of these problems, a practical solution was made for the organic grapes in Beixi, Linfen City, mainly for introducing professional knowledge talents, interacting with local news media, expanding diversified channels, and then achieving accurate marketing
