Optimising Environmental Health Renewal in Neighbourhoods Based on Traditional Chinese Concepts of Wellness
In the context of the Healthy China 2030 Action Strategy and the post epidemic era, planning scholars have focused on the exploration of the path between traditional health culture and urban neighbourhood renovation and renewal, in order to soundly promote the construction of the planning discipline system. This paper takes the idea of "four-dimensional health" of traditional health culture as the main skeleton, and builds a theoretical system of neighbourhood environmental health from four aspects of neighbourhood environmental planning: spatial layout, traffic and travel, public facilities, and living environment. Dongba Township in Chaoyang District, Beijing is selected as an empirical case for field study, and based on GIS data, we analyse the impacts of people's vitality, facilities and green coverage on health, and then explore the environmental renewal strategies for Dongba Township in combination with the neighbourhood planning dimensions derived from the "four dimensions of wellness". Finally, we propose a universal neighbourhood environmental health regeneration strategy based on the traditional concept of wellness, which will provide new perspectives and breakthroughs for the future of healthy urban planning and other industries
Preparation of Chlorella-based Phosphide Catalysts and Their Improvement of HER Performance
Hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) is a core technology for achieving green hydrogen production, and the development of low-cost, highly active catalysts is key to its industrialization. Transition metal phosphides (TMPs) have emerged as an important alternative to precious metal catalysts due to their superior catalytic performance and significantly lower cost. This study uses chlorella, an environmentally friendly biomass, as raw material to prepare phosphide catalysts. chlorella not only provides carbon and phosphorus sources for catalyst synthesis but also regulates the pore structure and morphology of the catalyst surface through its natural spherical structure, optimizing the distribution of active sites. The study systematically analyzed the catalytic mechanism of phosphides in the HER, including electron transfer pathways, the role of active sites, and the influence of surface reconstruction, while also highlighting the advantages of chlorella as a raw material in terms of composition and synthesis process. The results indicate that phosphide catalysts constructed using chlorella significantly enhance HER catalytic activity by improving the adsorption capacity for the reaction intermediate H* and electron conduction efficiency, providing new insights for the design of biomass-based high-efficiency hydrogen evolution catalysts
Digital Transformation in the Media Industry: The Moderating Role of Human-AI Interaction Technologies
This study examines the digital transformation journey of the media industry, with a specific focus on how human-AI interaction technologies moderate this transformation process. Using a qualitative approach combining thematic analysis and case studies, we investigate the mechanisms through which AI-human collaborative technologies influence organizational adaptation to digital environments. Moreover, Data collected from semi-structured interviews with media executives and industry professionals reveal that human-AI interaction capabilities significantly moderate the relationship between digital transformation initiatives and organizational outcomes. Our findings suggest that media organizations implementing user-centered AI interfaces achieve more successful digital transformation outcomes, particularly in content personalization, audience engagement, and operational efficiency. Consequently, this research contributes to digital transformation literature by identifying the critical moderating role of human-AI interaction technologies in facilitating successful media industry evolution and provides practical implications for media organizations navigating digital transformation challenges

Currently, China is in a critical stage of economic momentum transformation and industrial structure optimization and upgrading. Adontop The Enhancement Effects and Mechanisms of Commercial Banks' Digital Transformation on Corporate Investment Efficiency
This paper focuses on the impact of commercial banks' digital transformation on corporate investment efficiency and its underlying mechanisms. Against the backdrop of the digital economy, the digital transformation of commercial banks has become an inevitable trend, as it optimizes service models through technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence, profoundly influencing corporate financing environments and investment decisions. Based on data from China's A-share listed companies from 2013 to 2023, this study constructs a panel regression model for empirical analysis. The findings reveal that the digital transformation of commercial banks can significantly reduce corporate inefficient investment levels and enhance investment efficiency. Mechanism tests indicate that digital transformation improves corporate investment efficiency by alleviating financing constraints, reducing agency costs, and mitigating financial misallocation. Heterogeneity analysis further reveals differences in the effects of digital transformation across various types of commercial banks and firms with different ownership structures and sizes. State-owned banks and joint-stock banks exhibit more pronounced inhibitory effects on corporate inefficient investment, while non-state-owned and small-scale enterprises benefit more from the digital transformation of commercial banks. This study provides new perspectives and empirical evidence for understanding how the digital transformation of commercial banks influences corporate investment efficiency through multiple mechanisms, while also offering theoretical insights for research on how financial services support the real economy in the context of the digital economy
A Comparative Analysis of NEST and NNEST Lesson Plans: Examining Cultural Influences, Autonomy, and Teaching Objectives in EFL Writing Classes
As English remains a predominant global language, the demand for high-quality English lesson plans, delivered by both native English-speaking teachers (NESTs) and non-native English-speaking teachers (NNESTs), is increasingly critical in EFL contexts such as China. The present study investigates the disparity between lesson plans and pedagogical beliefs among Native English-Speaking Teachers (NESTs) and Non-Native English-Speaking Teachers (NNESTs) in writing lessons for primary students, with particular emphasis on the influence of their linguistic and cultural backgrounds on classroom decision-making. The study employs Bloom's Taxonomy to evaluate the alignment of classroom activities with diverse cognitive requirements, utilizing four actual lesson plans and interviews with two NESTs and two NNESTs. The results show that NESTs often plan their lessons in a way that moves from simple recall to more creative and open-ended assignments. This shows how important it is for students to be able to work on their own and communicate with each other. On the other hand, NNESTs tend to focus more on aligning with the textbook, structured practice, and grammar accuracy. This focuses give students a strong foundation through modeling and repetition. The interviewees' responses, which showed differences in training, classroom priorities, and limitations, also show these differences. The study suggests that writing lesson plans could benefit from the collaboration of each group's distinct strengths, combining creativity and structure to better address the diverse needs of young students in writing classes
Genres of Lexical and Syntactical Devices in the Steps within Moves of Research Abstracts of Undergraduate University Students in Ghana
The research employs corpus linguistics to examine lexico-grammatical characteristics in research abstracts authored by undergraduate nursing, medicine, and allied health students at the University of Health and Allied Sciences in Ho, Ghana. A corpus of 150 research abstracts was extracted, of which 96 excerpts were examined for the occurrence of lexico-grammatical features — tense patterns, hedges, boosters, nominalization, technical nouns, and passive voice. The analysis focused on qualitatively determining the frequency of lexico-grammatical features in the research abstracts and quantitatively presenting them as a percentage in a table. The study found the dominant use of the present tense (68%), hedges (75%), and boosters (65%) in the introduction steps, the simple past tense (55%) and the passive voice (100%) in the method steps, the present perfect tense in the statement step (60%), nominalization in the conclusion (42%), method (33%) and introduction (25%) steps, while technical nouns were replete in the conclusion (47%), introduction (30%), and method (23%) steps. The study concludes that steps in the rhetorical moves of research abstracts written by UHAS students were replete with three tense patterns — the simple present, simple past, and present perfect tenses, and other lexico-grammatical devices—hedges, boosters, nominalization, technical nouns, and the passive voice. This paper recommends that English for Academic Purposes course teachers in Ghanaian and global universities teach students the necessary skills to effectively write tense patterns and other lexico-grammar devices in research abstracts
Design and Performance Testing of the Hydraulic System for the Pickup Assembly of a Residual Film Recovery Machine
Addressing issues such as complex transmission structures and poor speed regulation in traditional mechanical residual film collectors used in Xinjiang cotton fields, this study designs a load-sensing hydraulic system for the pickup working components of residual film collectors. Field tests evaluated key parameters including operating pressure and flow rate, while investigating the influence of pickup chain speed and forward speed on residual film collection efficiency. Results indicate that the designed hydraulic system meets operational requirements under complex field conditions. When the forward speed varies between 0 and 12 km/h, the optimal pickup chain speed range is 57.6 to 83.6 r/min. This study provides theoretical basis and practical reference for optimizing hydraulic systems in residual film collectors
Research on the Value Realization Mechanism and Path of Agroforestry Ecological Product derived from Karst Soil and Water Conservation
The karst area is a typical ecologically fragile and soil erosion area. The agroforestry derived from soil and water conservation plays an important role in its ecological restoration and sustainable development.However, research on the value realization mechanisms and paths for agroforestry ecological products in karst soil and water conservation remains limited. In this study, three typical karst demonstration areas of Bijie Salaxi, Guanling-Zhenfeng Huajiang and Qingzhen Hongfenghu were taken as examples to create an ecological product classification system.Employing methods such as ecological product value accounting and spatial analysis. It evaluates the GEP across these regions and conversion rate, revealing the realization mechanisms and paths under a multi-stakeholder approach.Results indicate: The Salaxi study area recorded total GEP of 679.1433 million yuan, with a total value conversion rate of 15.12%. Huajiang GEP was 403.7665 million yuan, with a total value conversion rate of 13.65%. Hongfenghu GEP: 495.8981 million yuan, total value conversion rate is 19.12%. All three study areas exhibited the highest value in regulating services and the lowest in cultural services. Moreover, the conversion rates of total ecological product value across the three study areas primarily showed the highest conversion for material products, while conversion rates for regulating and cultural services remained relatively low. Current value realization still relies predominantly on traditional agricultural products, with the market potential of regulating and cultural services yet to be fully tapped. This study not only enriches the theoretical framework for value realization mechanisms and pathways of ecological products in soil and water conservation but also provides scientific reference for implementing the “Two Mountains” theory in ecological protection and sustainable development within karst soil and water conservation areas
The Vanishing Ownership: Reconstructing the First Sale Doctrine and Digital Exhaustion in the Age of Cloud Computing and NFTs
In the digital era, consumers increasingly encounter an illusion of ownership when purchasing copyrighted works such as video games, digital music albums, or e-books. Under dominant licensing models exacerbated by cloud computing and subscription services users acquire mere access rights rather than true property interests, rendering their acquisitions vulnerable to platform shutdowns, account terminations, or service discontinuations. This phenomenon marks the “vanishing ownership” of digital content, eroding the traditional balance struck by the First Sale Doctrine in U.S. copyright law and the Exhaustion Principle in EU law. This article examines the failure of these doctrines to adapt to digital distribution, as evidenced by landmark cases. It further explores emerging challenges and opportunities posed by cloud-based services and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), which promise transferable digital ownership but raise unresolved questions about copyright exhaustion, resale rights, and potential disruptions to rightholders’ licensing revenues. Through comparative legal analysis and doctrinal critique, this study argues for reconstructing the First Sale Doctrine and digital exhaustion to restore consumer property rights. It proposes hybrid legislative and technological solutions, including limited exhaustion for permanently downloaded works, mandatory resale mechanisms, and blockchain-enabled forward-and-delete protocols
