Jamu Nifas is a traditional herbal medicine that is made from the original recipe of the ancestors of Madura, from herbal plants. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of herbal medicine consumption in postpartum women with the incidence of diarrhea in infants aged 7-40 days. The type of research used was correlation analytic with a cross sectional approach, the population of postpartum mothers who had babies was 41, the sample was determined according to simple random sampling as many as 38 postpartum mothers who had babies, using the independent variable of herbal medicine consumption in postpartum mothers and the dependent variable of diarrhea incidence in infants aged 7-40 days. Using Fisher's Exact Test statistical test at the degree of significance α = 0.05.The results showed that almost all (92.3%) of the 24 mothers who consumed herbal medicine had diarrhea. The results of the Fisher's Exact Test statistical test show the value (ρ) = 0.000 0.05, then H0 is rejected, meaning that there is a relationship between the consumption of herbal medicine in postpartum mothers with the incidence of diarrhea in infants aged 7-40 days. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that mothers who consume herbal medicine during the postpartum period can cause diarrhea in infants. Because of the hygine factor that is less clean and the content of spices that are too hot. In order to minimize the factors that cause babies to experience diarrhea, mothers should not carelessly consume food and drinks, especially in choosing traditional herbs that do not harm mothers and babies. If you want to consume herbal medicine, you should precipitate it first and then drink it clearly.
Smart Card with Audio Connection to Improve Tooth Brushing Skills for Visually Impaired Children in SLB Negeri Jepara
Visual impairment can lead to challenges in maintaining oral hygiene for visually impaired people. Individuals with visual impairment have a higher risk of experiencing oral health problems compared to those with normal vision. This limitation is one of the inhibiting factors for blind people in obtaining knowledge about oral health, which in turn will affect their attitudes and actions in maintaining oral hygiene. The sensitivity of blind children is in one of their senses, namely sensitivity to sound through their hearing. Based on these problems, an innovation was made in the form of Smart Card With Audio Connection media to improve the teeth brushing skills of blind children. In the implementation of this activity, through several stages, namely the preparation stage (including licensing and preparation of officers), the implementation stage (pretest of tooth brushing skills and dental hygiene status, training to teachers, and simulation of brushing teeth using Smart Card with Audio Connection), and the evaluation stage (including post test of tooth brushing skills and dental hygiene status). This activity is 17 blind children in SLB Negeri Jepara. The results of the activity show that the Smart Card With Audio Connection Model is effective in improving the teeth brushing skills and dental hygiene status of visually impaired children
Evaluation of Dental Holder Innovation: Patient Comfort and Periapical Intra-Oral Radiographic Image Quality
This study evaluates an innovative dental holder designed to improve patient comfort and radiographic image quality in intra-oral periapical examinations. Conducted at Muhammadiyah University Semarang Dental and Oral Hospital, the research involved 30 patients who used the modified holder featuring a 20-degree tilt, biocompatible PLA material, and silicone pads. Results showed that 73.33% of patients experienced no nausea, and 93.33% had no allergic reactions, highlighting the holder's safety and comfort. Although 56.67% reported excessive oral pressure, 60% noted reduced pain due to the silicone pads. The holder also improved image quality, with 76.67% of patients acknowledging clear apical images, and 100% reporting no distortion or blurring. The study indicates that while the holder significantly enhances patient comfort and image quality, further design adjustments are needed to address size-related issues. Future developments should focus on customizing the holder for local anatomical variations and exploring additional eco-friendly materials. Enhanced training for practitioners and further research with diverse populations are recommended to optimize the holder's effectiveness

Evaluating Antibacterial And Anti-Biofilm Properties Of Copper And Zinc In Beta Tricalcium Phosphate Against Staphylococcus Epidermidis
Staphylococcus epidermidis is a common pathogen responsible for peri-implantitis, an infection localized around dental implants. Its virulence is largely attributed to biofilm formation, which enhances resistance to antibiotics and immune defenses. The challenge of treating S. epidermidis is further compounded by its resistance to several antibiotics, including methicillin. This study aimed to evaluate the antibacterial and anti-biofilm properties of a copper-zinc (Cu-Zn) metal alloy and its efficacy when integrated with beta-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP) as a graft medium against S. epidermidis using in vitro methods. This research employs Staphylococcus epidermidis ATCC 12228. Antibacterial activity was assessed using Direct contact test and viability count via Colony-Forming Unit (CFU) analysis, while biofilm formation was evaluated using the tube adherence method. Increasing copper and zinc concentrations enhanced antibacterial efficacy, with Cu-Zn-β-TCP suspensions showing significantly greater antibacterial activity (p = 0.01) and improved anti-biofilm properties compared to Cu-Zn suspensions without β-TCP. The incorporation of copper and zinc effectively inhibited bacterial growth and biofilm formation of S. epidermidis. Furthermore, the Cu-Zn alloy demonstrated higher efficacy when used in conjunction with β-TCP as a graft medium, suggesting its potential for managing peri-implantitis
