The Impact of Tourist Satisfaction on Loyalty in Ecotourism Destination: A Mediation Approach
Travelers are increasingly interested in ecotourism in India, which, though still niche. It is becoming significant for environmental and societal well-being. Tourist satisfaction is vital for tourist loyalty and repeat visits. This paper examines factors affecting tourist satisfaction and tourist loyalty in ecotourism of Sundarbans, which is the largest delta in the world. Data were gathered by a questionnaire-based survey from travellers in Sundarbans, India, employing systematic sampling. The hypotheses were examined using covariance-based structural equation modelling and the mediation method. Findings from 468 tourists highlighted the effect of ecotourism dimensions i.e. reliability, service quality, destination image, price, and tourist facilities on tourist loyalty, with tourist satisfaction playing a key mediating role. To boost tourist loyalty, ecotourism destinations should enhance their destination image, reliability, service quality, facilities, and affordability. Insights from this study will help the stakeholders of Sundarbans tourism to understand tourists' satisfaction and loyalty levels, and suggest strategies for improving tourism infrastructure and services to encourage future progress
Navigating Global Leadership Models: Empowering Sri Lankan Teachers as Transformative Leaders in Education
The research seeks to adapt global leadership models and determine how to apply them in secondary schools in Sri Lankato empower teachers to become transformative leaders. The secondary objective is to examine global leadership theoriesand how they can be integrated into the socio-cultural context of secondary school teachers, which will increase teacherleadership and improve student achievement. The research addresses the question: How can global leadership theories be modified for the socio-cultural setting of secondary teachers in Sri Lanka to scale up leadership and student outcomes? The study adopts an advanced literature review methodology, which includes an analysis of various international and local studies on leadership, teacher mentorship, and appropriate conceptual frameworks, with special focus on the Sri Lankan context of education. The paper highlights secondary school teachers who are influenced by the diverse tasks due to the local social and cultural norms. It considers the teachers’ duties in enhancing instructional practices, fostering cooperation, and driving sustainable school reforms, as well as the challenges related to inflexible structures, scarce professional growth opportunities, and poor collaboration. Findings emphasise the importance of contextualised leadership frameworks that facilitate change in education, increase teacher participation, and improve studentoutcomes. The study suggests further empirical testing of the proposed model in diverse secondary school settings in SriLanka to assess its practical applicability and effectiveness

Tourism marketing is a dynamic and multifaceted field that plays a pivotal role in promoting destinations, attracting tourists, and driving economic growth. As this field continues to evolve, understanding its progression and future opportunities becomes crucial. To address this need, the study conducts a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of tourism marketing literature spanning from 1974 to 2024. Utilising data from the Scopus database, biblioshiny is employed to examine key bibliometric statistics, such as authorship patterns, cross-country evaluations, keyword analyses, and thematic evolution. The findings reveal a significant growth in research output. The influence of COVID-19 on tourists and tourism industry and the enhanced integration of the internet and technology, is explicitly depicted by thematic analysis. This indicates a flourishing research landscape and a significant change in consumption patterns following the COVID-19 pandemic. In summary, this paper offers significant insights into the trends, patterns, and dynamics of research in tourism marketing research. Overall, this research has contributed to a deeper understanding of the academic landscape of tourism marketing, enlightening future research directions and guiding strategic decision-making for academics, practitioners, and policymakers involved in this field
Bounds on Distance Difference Dominating Energy of a Graph
This work defines distance difference dominating matrix of graph and estimates characteristic values of distance difference dominating matrix. The summation of absolute eigen/characteristic values of graph's distance difference dominating matrix yields distance difference dominating energy of simple connected graph. The properties of distance difference dominating eigen values are analysed. The boundaries of distance difference dominating energy are established
Luminous Blue Variables: A Step Towards Exploring a Critical Phase in Massive Star Evolution
Luminous Blue Variables (LBVs) are a rare class of early type, bright variable stars of late O to A spectral types thatrepresent one of the most enigmatic phases in the evolution of massive stars. Optical spectra of LBVs display prominentemission lines of HI, HeI, FeII, and [FeII], often showing P Cygni-type profiles indicating mass loss. Traditionally, LBVshave been viewed as a transitional phase between massive O-type and Wolf-Rayet stars, marked by significant massloss, 10 to 100 times compared to normal supergiant stars having similar luminosity, through episodes of eruptions and strong winds. However, these enigmatic objects still remain mysterious but important to better understand thelife cycle of massive stars, motivating further investigations to unravel their true nature. In this article, we provide an introduction to the various observable properties of LBVs and explore both traditional and alternate models of theirorigin. The article is written to motivate both young readers and scholars of the astronomy community by highlighting the importance of exploring these rare but exotic stars, the LBV
Blockchain-Driven Access Control and Data Protection Framework for Industrial IoT Systems
The exponential expansion of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) presents major difficulties in guaranteeing strong data security and safe access management over distributed and resource-limited settings. This paper suggests a blockchain-driven architecture combining dynamic access control based on roles with data integrity and confidentiality assurance mechanisms catered for IIoT environments. Three basic levels define the architecture: the IoT layer with intelligent sensors and actuators; the blockchain layer to offer distributed access enforcement and tamper-proof audit trails; and the cloud layer for scalable data storage and processing. Using smart contracts, the system automates access delegation, revocation, and real-time permission changes, hence reducing single points of failure and unwanted access. Compared to centralised systems, experimental evaluation employing Python simulations shows enhanced accuracy, precision, and security at the tradeoff of quite limited throughput. Emphasising privacy, transparency, and resilience, this study provides the basis for reliable, scalable, auditable IIoT infrastructures
Synthesis, Characterization, In Silico ADME Profiling, MD Simulations and Unveiling Antibacterial Activities of Novel (E)-5-Amino-3-Styryl-1H-Pyrazole-4-Carbonitrile Derivatives: A Tandem Michael Addition Approach
An easy and environment benign, time-efficient Tandem Michael addition for the synthesis of (E)-5-amino-3-styryl-1H-pyrazole-4-carbonitrile derivatives using the components of Cinnamaldehyde, hydrazine, and malononitrile through MCR approach have been developed. Using AlCl3 as a catalyst in aqueous ethanol (1:1) medium, it yields 79–89% of the pyrazole derivative within the period of 30 minutes. The synthesised compounds were investigated for MM2 to predict the molecular behaviour and energy calculation by Chem 3D software, ADME (Adsorption, Distribution, Metabolism and Excretion) properties using Swiss ADME software to profile pharmacokinetic properties of potential drugs, and the compounds' molecular docking (MD) simulations procedure was done with the proteins 4O9I and 2HI9 Hydrolase inhibitors. The protein-ligand interactions between the synthesised compound and the chosen protein revealed antibacterial activity against gram positive and gram negative bacterium, with improved results shows the role of hydrolase inhibitors and their relevance in biological activity. These intriguing findings indicate that the synthesized compounds might be suitable candidates for the development of novel antibacterial drugs in drug discovery
A Critique on the Legal Framework for ‘Guardian Ad Litem’ in India with Specific Reference to the Principle of Participation in Child Custody Disputes
This paper seeks to highlight the significance of Guardians Ad Litem (GAL) with respect to participation of children in judicial proceedings. While GAL in various other jurisdictions is vested with diverse roles and well stipulated qualifications; the Indian model reflects a more limited role and an inherently paternalistic approach towards a child’s participation in judicial proceedings involving his/her interest. Deeply imbibed in the welfare principle, the provisions for a child’s representation through GAL in the legal framework seems inadequate due to the immense importance given to natural guardians and the lack of specialized qualifications in the statutory provisions. The paper further seeks to highlight, that despite of the statutory recognition of a child’s right to legal aid and representation under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2015 and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012; the role of a GAL which vests primarily with the guardians of the children might result counter operative when such a guardian itself is guilty of abuse or neglect. Moreover, a near absence of any such provision in the child custody dispute within the legal framework, may seriously impair the right of a child considering the immense trauma a child might have to undergo in a custody battle
The Culture of the 'In-Between' Healer: A Pilot Project
This paper addresses questions of cluture and identity arising around healers whose practice draws strongly from cultures other than their culture of origin. Using data from interviews with four Western-born practitioners who offer traditional healing modalities from non-Western cultures, the paper explores the personal and professional meaning that is accorded to the culturally foreign modality by the Western therapist. To examine teh process of meaning making that such a therapist undergoes, the paper charts the stages of the therapists' development as non-Western healers. Based on the interview data, these stages include the therapists' disillusionment with the mainstream healing modality in their culture of origin, their sense of wonderment at the possibilities of the non-Western modality they chose, the reception they receive in the culture of the healing therapy, and eventually the way in which they locate themselves culturally with respect to their local health care settings as well as to the culture of the healing art itself. By tracing the healer's cultural journey in relationship to the culture of the healing art itself, the paper examines the politics of authenticity, expropriation, and belonging through a description of the cultural commonalities shared by these culturally "in-between" healers
