    Stability Analysis of Visco-Elastically Damped Structure Through Bagley Torvik Equation

    The stability of fractional-order visco-elastically damped linear system Bagley Torvik equation is analyzed in this paper. The fundamental novelty of this paper is the application of Caputo derivative. Prevailing sufficient spectral conditions are considered to guarantee the stability of linear models. Laplace transform, and Mittag-Leffler functions are utilized to develop the results. Furthermore, asymptotical stability of linear fractional-order models are also achieved through spectral values of the characteristic polynomials. Numerical examples are given to display the effectiveness of suggested method

    Possible Alternate Scenario for Short Duration GRBs Invoking Dark Matter Objects

    In recent works we had discussed the possibility of primordial planets composed entirely of dark matter (DM), and considered this to be a possible reason for not detecting DM particles in the various ongoing experiments. It has been suggested that such primordial DM objects could have formed in the early universe. Here we look at these DM objects as possible candidates for short duration gamma ray bursts. This model has the advantage of eliminating the as yet unresolved baryon load problem in the usual scenario. These could also provide a possible mechanism for the formation of sub-stellar black holes, distinct from the usual Hawking (primordial) black holes

    In this theoretical paper we critically analyzed inclusion of CALA in the new competence-based curriculum in Zimbabwe where secondary schools are poorly resourced in ICT tools. The paper contributes to the ongoing narrative attempting to dispel negativity against CALA from parents, teachers and learners, resultant in poor implementation. We chose the network society theory (NST) as the lens through which to critique this inclusion. We do this by highlighting the principles of the NST achievable through CALA and its potential to bridge digital divides. The world is transitioning to geographically detached connections, individualized mobile lifestyle and teenagers should not be alienated from this global village. The article argued that in the NST, it is the role of the state to provide conditions for participation, which the Zimbabwean government has done through CALA, therefore it is tantamount to malevolence if teachers and school decide to deprive learners of this opportunity. Based on this critical assessment, the paper concludes that provides learners with skills for survival in the digital global village and as such should be fully implemented as stipulated by the national curriculum.   &nbsp

    Decolonising Education and Research: An Indianised Approach to Pedagogy

    Colonised approaches to education, especially in humanities and social sciences, have since Independence perpetuated dominant narratives, providing limited space for diverse knowledge systems and marginalising Indigenous cultures and communities. This research paper delves into the process of decolonising pedagogy within these disciplines, emphasising the need to dismantle Eurocentric approaches to learning. In pedagogy, language, in particular, is pivotal in shaping the linguistic competence of a learner. However, the approaches to teaching the same differ substantially from what is expected in the research environments. Therefore, it highlights the urgency to Indianise the existing colonial frameworks in academia. There is a pressing need to decolonise curriculum content, recognising the systematic exclusion of history, stories, and diverse experiences. By doing so, we can attempt to unchain these subjects from their colonial entanglements and embrace their potential for social change. Therefore, the current paper will address the prevailing issues in academia/research spaces and attempt to address the possible solutions for the same. Furthermore, decolonising teaching methodologies will help us engage critically with the above-stated concerns.  By implementing these transformative measures, we draw attention to the potential of humanities and social sciences as vehicles for decolonisation.     Adaptive Jellyfish Search Optimization Trained Deep Learning for Breast Cancer Classification Using Histopathological Images

    One of the most common cancers identified worldwide among women is breast cancer, which has become the foremost reason for death. Due to complexity of breast tissues, it is essential to accurately detect and classify breast cancer in medical imaging. In this paper, an optimization-based deep learning technique is created to detect breast cancer using histopathology pictures. The pre-processed images are sent to the segmentation procedure, where the Fuzzy Local Information C-Means (FLICM) technique is used to segment the blood cells. The segmentation process is followed by feature extraction, where various features, such as area, shape, diameter, and Speeded-Up Robust Features (SURF), are extracted from histopathological images. Lastly, Deep Q Network (DQN) trained using the developed Adaptive Jelly Fish Search Optimization (AJSO) algorithm is used to identify and classify benign and malignant breast cancer. The devised approach has good accuracy, TPR, and TNR values of 91.1%, 92.1%, and 92%, correspondingly

To overcome this situation, the great as well as the puzzling imposter arose which is now the area of interest called cryptocurrency. Bitcoins, Ethereum, and ripple are some embodiments of cryptocurrency. Investors do not always have a bed of roses with cryptocurrency as the frequent oscillation of prices is hard to forecast. The paper here deals with the forecasting of cryptocurrency prices by using data mining algorithms such as Bagging, K-NN, Linear Regression, and Support Vector Machine. The outcome specifies the accuracy value gained from the cryptocurrency forecasting model from which we can predict the price of the cryptocurrency

    Development of Silane Functionalized ZnO Nanoparticles for Enhancing Anticorrosion Application

    The effect of zinc oxide nanoparticles surface modified with N-[3-(Trimethoxysilyl)propyl]ethylenediamine (15.5 nm) on mild steel in 0.5M HCl at five different concentrations and temperatures has been studied using Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) and Tafel polarization curves. Results show that the inhibition efficiency of synthesized mixed type of inhibitor increases up to 40˚C and then decreases because of both physical and chemical adsorption. The activation parameters calculated using Arrhenius plot confirmed chemical adsorption process. Adsorption process follows Langmuir adsorption isotherm and free energy of adsorption values proved the spontaneous adsorption of inhibitor on mild steel sample. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis also showed that the synthesized nanoparticle is efficient as corrosion inhibitor. Green synthetic method was adopted in synthesis of inhibitor by using Phyllanthus Emblica (Gooseberry) extract. The inhibitor was characterized by Fourier Transform Infra-red Spectroscopy (FT-IR) and X-Ray Diffraction techniques
