    Distributed AI-driven Telestroke Solution for Rapid and Accurate Stroke Diagnosis

    Abstract— Telestroke systems have transformed the way stroke patients are diagnosed and treated in remote settings. However, there is still room for improvement to optimize stroke care delivery. The integration of advanced technologies into telestroke systems can enhance stroke diagnosis and treatment, leading to better patient outcomes and reduced healthcare costs. In this discussion, we explored various technologies, such as artificial intelligence, remote monitoring systems, telemedicine, and mobile applications, that can be integrated into telestroke systems to improve stroke care delivery. These technologies can enable accurate and timely diagnosis, facilitate remote consultations, monitor patients' conditions, and improve communication among healthcare providers. By integrating advanced technologies into telestroke systems, healthcare providers can improve stroke care delivery, particularly in underserved areas, and increase access to specialized stroke care, resulting in better patient outcomes.     Prediction of Type2 Diabetes using Insulin DNA Sequence

    This research paper addresses the challenge of objectively evaluating diverse biological characteristics through the classification of DNA sequences. Identifying DNA sequences in genomics research can aid in discovering novel protein activities, such as insulin, which regulates blood sugar levels in the human body. Diabetes, a prevalent chronic illness, is linked to changes in the insulin gene sequence. The study aims to develop a machine-learning model to categorize the insulin gene's DNA sequence and identify type 2 diabetes based on this transformation. The model's performance will be compared to existing machine-learning models. Additionally, the research seeks to identify unique gene variants of the insulin protein associated with diabetes prognosis and investigate the risk factors associated with these gene variants

    An Ethics of Deconstruction responding to AI generated Bias

    The paper aims to respond to the ethical concern of biases generated by Artificial Intelligence systems. Even though biases enter an AI network via different channels, its presence in the algorithm can pose serious difficulties. AI systems have an algorithmic way of working where language is ‘formal’ and meaning is ‘fixed’. We employ deconstructive strategies of Jacques Derrida to understand the nature of this problem of AI bias through examination of algorithmic/programming language. Derridean philosophy looks at metaphysics as heavily depended on notions such as logocentrism where logos refers to the privileged part in a dichotomy. Logos is the centre of formal language which works as a system of signs. The main point of deconstruction is to apprise us of this privilege given to ‘presence’ of a concept or meaning over its ‘absence’. Derrida’s notion of Undecidables and Aporia, not only destabilizes rigid dichotomies like speech/writing but also give way to an opening of a concept in its ‘impossible -possibility’. In AI systems, programming/algorithmic language conforming to its algorithm offers definitive answers to problems. This takes us a step ahead in ‘formalization’ of language. Derrida, however offers a response via his ethical deconstruction where the process of ‘completion’ of any concept is deferred and its meaning ‘undecided’.&nbsp

    The state of Telangana came into existence in June 2014. The separation of Telangana from its parent state was the end result of decades of struggle by the people from this region. Six years down the lane, post its creation the state has evolved gradually from the shadow of its parent state and has tried to carve its own developmental path. The present paper traces the origin and progress of the demand for separate statehood for Telangana. It then looks at the process of the creation of a new state of Telangana. The final part of this paper delves into the story of Telangana, post its statehood, identifying some of the challenges that the state continues to face post its creation

    Examining the Impact of Climate Change on Tourism Sector of Uttarakhand : An Exploratory Study

    Uttarakhand is recognized for its scenic beauty, fertile terrain and a rich cultural and religious heritage. Deriving a major proportion of its income from tourism and allied services, the tourism industry has become indispensable for its residents and for its government. However, the region is highly vulnerable to natural calamities like earthquakes, floods, forest fires and landslides due to its geography. Uncontrolled influx of tourists and pilgrims, unplanned construction of tourism-related infrastructure in eco-sensitive zones, massive greenhouse gas emissions, humongous waste generation and improper disposal have all added to the environmental degradation of this region. Hence, precarious condition of the terrain, rapid infrastructure development in addition to unplanned tourism and unregulated urbanisation have all led to highly volatile climatic conditions in recent decades and experts suggest that the situation will only get worse. The 2013 Kedarnath floods, the 2016 wildfires as well as the numerous reported landslides and earthquakes bear testimony to this fact. These in turn have an adverse impact on the tourism of the state. In 2016, Uttarakhand reported a sharp drop in tourist numbers after wildfires. In this paper we explore the question of sustainability of the tourism sector in Uttarakhand. We also intensively cover the various stakeholders of the tourist industry of the state, namely NGOs, Tourists, Local Communities, Local Businesses and Hotels and how losses to the same impact them. We study these impacts by using secondary data from secondary sources and primary data through interviews conducted by the authors, of locals in Rishikesh working at Tiny Lab Farm - a rural design and research studio. The authors also conducted a case study on Joshimath, which is an evident example of a tourism-dependent town in Uttarakhand, at the brink of losing its mainstay, as a result of environmental degradation. Opposing the idea of climate change being a problem of the future, the case study showcases the urgency of the situation by providing a sequential background on the course of events and its impact on tourism, as can be observed in real-time. Finally, the last section of the paper is a brief policy analysis of the current policies adopted by the government. The authors conclude that an increased community participation, usage of eco-friendly and locally sourced construction materials, promotion of tourism practices which are traditional and sustainably, a reassessment of forest laws, proper waste management, resurging indigenous practices and an increased involvement of women and elderly in the industry can pave the way for a balanced and sustained future of the tourism industry.   Keywords: Climate Change, Tourism, Uttarakhand, Policy Recommendations JEL: O180, Q26, Q54, Z320, Z38 &nbsp

    Effective Edge Domination in iterated Jump Graph of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Graph

    Intuitionistic Fuzzy Graphs (InFGs) serve as a sophisticated framework for modeling complex and uncertain phenomena across diverse domains, such as decision-making, economics, medicine, computer science, and engineering.  In this research, we develop and analyse the properties of jump graphs in the context of InFGs. The vertex set of the jump graph J(G) of a graph G is defined as the edge set of G, with adjacency between vertices in J(G) established if and only if the corresponding edges in G are non-incident. We systematically construct sequences of jump graphs for InFGs through iterative processes and investigate the structural characteristics of these sequences. Moreover, we introduce the concept of an effective edge dominating set for jump graphs of InFGs and rigorously determine the effective edge domination number for certain classes of graphs. These contributions enhance the theoretical foundation of InFGs and extendtheir applicability to solving real-world problems characterized by uncertainty and complexit
