Peuner’s Odyssey. Burgher´s conversion seen via history of an early modern bourgeois family in Teschen
The article focuses on the topic of conversion which represents a specific part of the process of the recatholization in urban society. It follows the topic in the context of the Silesian town of Teschen in the second half of the 17th century. In this period Habsburgs succeeded to Teschen´s princely throne and initiated various steps to restore the original position of the Catholic faith and the church in the area. Some of them affected also the central person of this article, local urban scrivener Timotej Peuner. Timotej, as well as the other protestant members of the town council, was forced to convert to Catholicism. The article describes tools of the recatholization by following his life story. The recatholization is perceived here as a part of a wider process of communication. The paper studies participants of the recatholization which became strongly individualised. Going through the urban and the church sources the article reveals structure of local social, economical and religious network connected to Timotej Peuner. Therefore it reveals more of the social and religious background of the conversion and describes its influence on Peuner´s close family and wider Teschen’s society. The article focuses on the topic of conversion which represents a specific part of the process of the recatholization in urban society. Witch Trials and Sorcery Processes in Foreign Historiography: New Perspectives and Angles of View
The present study is devoted to historiographical foreign production related to the issue of processes with witches and female sorcerers, especially to the development of linguistically German and English research within approximately the last thirty years. The transformation of individual theories and methodological approaches to the topic using other scientific disciplines, such as anthropology, ethnology or psychology is reflected. Also some questions concerning, for example, the role of torture or solving the problem whether the processes can be described as a profitable programme of elites are accentuated here. These questions are subsequently partly answered just through the new results of the international research. The present study is devoted to historiographical foreign production related to the issue of processes with witches and female sorcerers, especially to the development of linguistically German and English research within approximately the last thirty years. CREATION OF THE DRAWING DOCUMENTATION AND RENOVATION OF THE WINDING DEVICE OF A WORKING MACHINE
This article deals with the renovation of the damaged untyped reel of a working machine, which damage was caused duet he overloading in the operation because of the not specified load. It can denote the certain danger factor. For that reason the drawing documentation of the real device will be created in order to find out directly inputs for analytical dimensional calculation for determination maximum admissible weight value of a suspended load on the given winding device

This entry describe of a model two hoisting machineries. In this entry is more detailed describe engineering design and realization by the standing derrick, which is recess crane trolley by lifting device, created as suspender by crane trolley
WAREHOUSE DESIGN HIERARCHIC PROBLEMS
The paper deals with the problem of designing warehouses from a global perspective. The paper presents the results of a brief analysis of publications dealing with the issue. As the analysis shows, many authors deal either complexly or with isolated problems. Four main areas of warehouse design are at the end of the paper
British Jewry and the Attempted Boycott of Nazi Germany, 1933–1939
The article deals with the boycott of Nazi Germany, which the British Jews attempted in the years 1933–1939. The main question is why the Jewish boycott in Britain culminated in the summer of 1933 and why it was followed by years of stagnation. To what extent did the boycott movement have the chance to succeed is another key question as the main goal of the movement was nothing less significant than removing Hitler’s regime and thus preventing the war. The study is divided into three parts. The first part focuses on the initial phase of the boycott (1933–1934) and emphasises the fact that the main organisation representing British Jews, The Board of Deputies of British Jews, refused to make the boycott official. The second part points out gradual stagnation and the boycott’s downturn in the years 1935–1939. Although the Berlin Olympics in 1936 would have been a great incentive for the movement, they were not boycotted in the end. Then the movement was further weakened by the British policy of appeasement. The third phase of the study shows how the representatives of British Jewry attempted to influence the opinion of the government, especially the Foreign Office. Nevertheless, they failed in swinging political opinion towards the support of German Jews or the idea of a boycott. It became clear that the success of the boycott movement strongly depended on the official support; however, the mainstream political opinion preferred negotiations and agreement with Germany. The whole article is significantly based on yet unpublished sources from British and German archives. The article deals with the boycott of Nazi Germany, which the British Jews attempted in the years 1933–1939. Walter Xaver Count of Dietrichstein on the Grand Tour (1683–1688) and his fight against a predestined future
Grand tour of Walter Xaver Count of Dietrichstein (1664–1738) seems to be at first sight quite typical but after closer examination, it can not be considered as one of many. By the time he started his journey, Walter Xaver was already the ordained clergyman and his parents supposed that after having completed a demanding educational program, a great spiritual career awaits him. With that, however, this young man had never reconciled and just during his grand tour there was a major turnaround: on his father he gradually acquired not only directing of his education to be more secular but also the promise that in the future he will be allowed to leave the clergy. The presented study therefore notices not only the course of this grand tour, its itinerary and young aristocrat´s educational programme but also building Dietrichstein\u27s ideas about his future, his disputes with his father and the role of the Hofmeister and answers the question whether and how this struggle influenced young man´s studies and his relationships with his parents.Grand tour of Walter Xaver Count of Dietrichstein (1664–1738) seems to be at first sight quite typical but after closer examination, it can not be considered as one of many. Economic Boycott in Response to Anti-Semitism Using the Example of the Second Czechoslovak Republic
The economic boycott of Nazi Germany became one of the weapons in the fight against the anti-Semitism of the Nazi regime. During the 1930s, it continued in different power and was also directed against other states where anti-Jewish actions were taking place. That is why the Second Czechoslovak Republic, in which the domestic right wing was heard louder and louder and which, at the same time, found itself under the strong pressure from Germany, was affected by the boycott, too. In spite of the government’s effort to preserve the tradition of religious and racial tolerance, anti-Jewish attacks, mostly verbal, but gradually even real, took place at different levels, resulting in attempts to declare a boycott of Czech-Slovak goods exported to democratic states, especially the USA.The economic boycott of Nazi Germany became one of the weapons in the fight against the anti-Semitism of the Nazi regime.
