ANALÝZA NEHODOVÉHO DEJA NEHODOVEJ UDALOSTI NA ŽELEZNIČNOM PRIECESTÍ
No full textPříspěvek se zaměřuje na problematiku bezpečnosti na železničních přejezdech, které jsou velmi důležitým prvkem v železniční dopravě. Statistiky ukazují, že silniční nehody představují více než čtvrtinu všech železničních nehod v EU. Kromě statistických ukazatelů nehod na železničních přejezdech měli autoři článku k dispozici podrobné údaje o tragické nehodě z roku 2009, při níž bylo zabito dvanáct lidí, a dalších vážných úrazech. Podle analýzy příčin a průběhu nehody ukazuje, jak důležité je použití nejmodernějších bezpečnostních prvků na železničních přejezdech, kde není možné předat silniční a železniční dopravu mimo úroveň.The paper focuses on the issue of safety at level crossings, which are a very important element in rail transport. Statistics show that road accidents account for more than a quarter of all rail accidents in the EU. In addition to statistical indicators of accidents at railway crossings, the authors of the article had at their disposal detailed data on the tragic accident from 2009, where twelve people were killed, as well as other serious injuries. According to the analysis of the causes and course of the accident, it shows how important it is to use the most modern security elements at railway crossings, where it is not possible to pass road and rail traffic off-level.Príspevok sa zameriava na problematiku bezpečnosti na železničných priecestiach, ktoré predstavujú v železničnej doprave veľmi dôležitý prvok. Autori príspevku mali k dispozícií podrobné údaje o tragickej nehode z roku 2009, kde došlo k usmrteniu dvanástich osôb, ako aj k ďalším vážnym zraneniam osôb. Podľa analýzy príčin a priebehu nehody vyplýva, aké dôležité je, aby na železničných priecestiach, kde nie je možné mimoúrovňové míňanie cestnej a železničnej dopravy boli nasadené najmodernejšie zabezpečovacie prvky
THE INTERMODAL TRANSPORTATION OF SEMITRAILERS
No full textThe paper focuses on intermodal transportation systems for semitrailers in Europe. Transportation of semitrailers by rail is a good alternative to direct road transport. In the paper, individual systems are presented and their characteristics are explained. The characteristics of individual transportation systems are the inputs into the WSA and the TOPSIS methods. The results of the methods answers the question which semitrailer transportation system is the most suitable (beneficial) for trucking companies today. The paper may be a source of information for state authorities, trucking companies, intermodal transportation operators and terminal operators
The Jesuits in ’Historie církevní‘ by Pavel Skála of Zhoř and Their Possible Role in Skála’s View on History
No full text’Historie církevní’(The History of the Church) by Pavel Skála of Zhoř is probably the most extensive Czech early modern historiographical work, moreover, preserved in only one manuscript. Being written by a protestant author, ’Historie církevní’ contains rather a detailed image of the Jesuit Order hidden within its text. The Jesuits were presented by Skála through a collection of various motives connected to the Order, which also allowed him to create his own image of the Order. No full textThe study refers to an unexplored aspect of the well-known personality of Count and later Prince Wenzel Anton of Kaunitz-Rietberg (1711–1794). The first part of the two-part paper presents his relation to the healthy and sick body, diseases that tormented him, and it also describes how he perceived various illnesses that troubled not only him but also his relatives and friends. Attention is paid especially to the question of whether and how diseases affected Kaunitz and his environment, what impacts they had on him, where he sought help and whether certain periods of his life can be considered essential in this sense. INFLUENCE OF BRAKE LIGHT LIGHT SOURCE ON DRIVER REACTION TIME
No full textPříspěvek se zabývá zjištěním vlivu typu světelného zdroje brzdových světel automobilu na reakční dobu řidiče. V příspěvku je měřena reakční doba řidiče v podobě sešlápnutí brzdového pedálu v závislosti na rozsvícení brzdových světel u vodícího vozidla. Vyhodnocení měření spočívá ve vzájemném porovnání fázového posunu mezi signálem brzdových světel prvního vozidla a signálem brzdových světel u druhého vozidla. Experimentální měření bylo realizováno pro pět osob a to při použití klasické žárovky a následně LED diody u brzdových světel prvního vozidla. Z naměřených průběhů se potvrdilo, že reakční doba řidiče je závislá na mnoha faktorech, kdy významnou roli hraje i zdroj a intenzita světla brzdových světel. Současně má vliv na reakční dobu i činnost či nečinnost zadních obrysových světel. S jejich aktivací se reakční doba řidiče následného vozidla prodlužuje.The paper deals with finding out the influence of the type of light source of car brake lights on the reaction time of the driver. The paper measures the reaction time of the driver in the form of depressing the brake pedal depending on the lighting of the brake lights on the driving vehicle. The evaluation of the measurement consists in a mutual comparison of the phase shift between the brake light signal of the first vehicle and the brake light signal of the second vehicle. The experimental measurement was performed for five people using a classic light bulb and then an LED diode at the brake lights of the first vehicle. From the measured waveforms, it was confirmed that the driver\u27s reaction time depends on many factors, where the source and intensity of the brake lights also play an important role. At the same time, it affects the reaction time and the operation or inactivity of the rear position lamps. With their activation, the reaction time of the driver of the succeeding vehicle is extended

No full textProblematika společenské odpovědnosti organizací (dále jen CSR) je v současné době velmi diskutovaným tématem. Implementace CSR do obchodní strategie může přispět ke zvýšení konkurenceschopnosti, která je nezbytná v dnešním globalizovaném a moderním turbulentním tržním prostředí. Aplikace CSR v podnikání znamená, že organizace bere v úvahu také environmentální a sociální aspekty a dopady svých aktivit, produktů a služeb. CSR má vliv na to, jak zákazníci vnímají společnosti. Tento koncept je důležitý nejen pro zákazníky, ale také pro další zúčastněné strany, jako jsou: investoři, zaměstnanci, veřejnost, média, stát a další. Global Reporting Initiative (dále jen GRI) je nezávislá mezinárodní organizace, která je průkopníkem v oblasti reportování udržitelnosti. Standardy GRI jsou první globální standardy pro podávání zpráv o udržitelnosti. Mají modulární vzájemně propojenou strukturu a představují globální osvědčené postupy pro podávání zpráv o řadě ekonomických, environmentálních a sociálních dopadů. Cílem tohoto příspěvku je doporučit přístup k CSR pro společnost poskytující expresní kurýrní služby v České republice. Pozornost je primárně zaměřena na ekonomické, environmentální a sociální aspekty CSR, které tato společnost považuje za důležité z hlediska jejího podnikatelského sektoru. Metody interpretativní případové studie, dotazníkového šetření a analytického síťového procesu (dále jen ANP) jsou použity k určení nejlepší strategie CSR pro společnost poskytující expresní kurýrní služby v České republice v souladu se standardy GRI.The issue of Corporate Social Responsibility (hereinafter CSR) is currently a highly discussed topic. The implementation of CSR in business strategy can contribute to increased competitiveness which is necessary in todays globalized and modern turbulent market environment. CSR application in business means that the company also takes into consideration environmental and social aspects and impacts of its activities, products and services. CSR has influence on how customers see companies. This concept is important not only for customers, but also for other stakeholders such as are the following: investors, employees, the general public, media, the state and other. The Global Reporting Initiative (hereinafter GRI) is an independent international organization that has pioneered sustainability reporting. The GRI Standards are the first global standards for sustainability reporting. They feature a modular, interrelated structure, and represent the global best practice for reporting on a range of economic, environmental and social impacts. The aim of this paper is to recommend an approach to CSR for a company providing express courier services Czech Republic. The attention is primarily focused on those economic, environmental and social aspects of CSR that are considered important by this company with regard to their business sector. The methods of interpretative case study, questionnaire survey and Analytic Network Process (hereinafter ANP) will be used to determine the best CSR strategy for the company providing express courier services in the Czech Republic in accordance with the GRI Standards

No full textČlánek popisuje nový způsob tvorby ročního jízdního řádu v informačním systému KANGO provozovatele dráhy Správy železnic. Systém je přístupný pro informační systémy dopravců prostřednictvím datového rozhraní, které umožňuje komunikaci pomocí XML zpráv odpovídajících specifikacím TAF / TAP TSI Evropské Unie. Součástí systému je nový modul KANGO-Tras, který zajišťuje zpracování zpráv, správu žádostí a datových jízdních řádů. Pro tvorbu jízdního řádu byly navrženy procesy pro zpracování nové žádosti, modifikaci a zrušení žádosti dopravcem, vymazání datového jízdního řádu provozovatelem dráhy a zpracování údajů, které nejsou potřebné v době konstrukce.The article describes a new way of annual timetable creation in the KANGO information system of the infrastructure manager Správa železnic. The system is accessible to railway undertakings’ information systems of via a data interface that allows communication using XML messages corresponding to the TAF / TAP TSI European Union specifications. The system includes new KANGO-Tras module, which provides message processing, management of path requests and paths. To create a timetable, processes were designed for new request, modifying and canceling request by the railway undertaking, deleting the paths by the infrastructure manager and processing data that is not needed at the construction time
SUSTAINABLE GREEN CITY LOGISTIC SOLUTION FOR THE PRAGUE AGGLOMERATION AND RETAIL CHAIN
No full textDuring the 20th century, population growth and changes in the business environment also led to a change in mobility requirements. Gradually, there was an increase in transport performance in the area of passenger and freight transport. These trends are also characteristic of the 21st century, when it is also possible to talk about the fundamental development of modern information and communication technologies. The sustainable and green city logistics deals with all transport (passenger and freight) and includes material and goods flows and movements of people inside and outside the city and agglomeration with respect to the sustainability pillars. This article deals with the possibilities of supplying Lidl Česká republika v.o.s. (hereinafter Lidl) stores in Prague agglomeration from the planned logistic centre in Buštěhrad. Two scenarios are tested in terms of total carbon dioxide emissions produced: standard way of distributing goods to stores (scenario A) and sustainable and green way of distributing goods to stores (scenario B). The scientific methods and approaches are used in this article, there are: scenario analysis, vehicle routing problem with pickup and delivery with time windows and carbon dioxide emissions calculation approaches.
 
THE IRRATIONALITY OF CONSUMERS CHOOSING PLANE TICKETS: CASE STUDY OF GENERATION Z REPRESENTATIVES IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC
No full textEconomic models can be used to describe consumer behavior or to predict expected behavior of the consumers. In order for the application of the selected economic model to describe realistically the issue under study, it is necessary that the individual components of the economic model are able to reliably identify and possibly even quantify main characteristics of the studied problematique. In the last few years, one of the basic theses based on which several economic models are built upon has been "questioned" within the scientific community, namely the one that portraits human as always rationally behaving individual. The goal of this article is to verify whether, in the framework of predicting consumer behavior, one can still use a person as a so-called homo oeconomicus (economic man who always behaves rationally) or whether this theory has been already overcome, and human behavior should be rather described as irrational. To validate the theory of irrationality in the context of consumer behavior, an experiment in the field of air transport will be used, monitoring consumer decision making while choosing the plane tickets
