Development of a Certainty Factor-Based Expert System for Nutrition Consultation and Stunting Prevention in Coastal Areas: A Case Study of Bengkalis Regency
This study developed a Certainty Factor (CF)–based expert system to support nutrition consultation and stunting prevention in coastal settings using Bengkalis Regency as a case study. A design science approach was employed to analyze local service constraints, acquire expert knowledge, formalize a rule base, implement an offline-first prototype (mobile client and admin dashboard), and evaluate its performance. Knowledge was elicited from nutritionists, midwives, and community health workers and encoded as IF–THEN rules with expert confidence weights; Evidence (anthropometry, infection history, infant and young child feeding, sanitation, and socioeconomic factors) was mapped to CF values and combined to yield risk scores and categories with explainable rule traces. Functional testing showed all user-story scenarios passed as expected, while initial expert validation and usability checks indicated the prototype provided rapid and standardized assessments suitable for first-line services. The results suggest the CF approach is feasible for coastal contexts with limited connectivity and can accelerate early screening and referrals. Evaluation of Advantages and Disadvantages of Village Information Systems in Supporting Sustainable Development Programs
In the digital age, information technology has become essential in many areas of life, including public administration. As a public service provider, the government needs to utilize technology to increase efficiency, transparency, and accountability in providing services to its citizens. The concrete expression of the innovation is the development of the Village Information System (SID) which aims to enable the village government to manage population data, development, and village administration in an integrated manner. The Ogan-Ilir Regency Government has developed and implemented two web applications, SIDESI (Integrated Village Information System). This application aims to facilitate the management of municipal data and village administration. SIDESI allows villages to consolidate data relevant to various development needs. This study uses a quantitative approach using a survey method using a questionnaire to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of the SIDESI web application. This approach aims to obtain data obtained from questionnaires filled out by users directly from the SIDESI web application. The results of the use of the SIDESI application web application are very effective in managing population data, with features that make it easier for village officials to input family and resident data in a systematic and structured manner. This speeds up the data management process at the village level, as well as reduces the risk of human error in data recording
Development of a Machine Learning-Based Predictive Model for Forecasting Spare Part Requirements at the Warehouse of PT. Setia Karya Transport (Great Giant Foods) Way Lunik
Efficient spare part management plays a crucial role in supporting operational continuity at PT. Setia Karya Transport (Great Giant Foods). The current spare part forecasting process is still reactive and relies on periodic evaluations, resulting in potential inefficiencies in procurement planning. This study aims to develop a machine learning-based predictive model to forecast spare part requirements using historical transaction data from January to July 2025. The research applied three modeling scenarios: (1) a hybrid model combining Support Vector Regression (SVR), Random Forest, and Statistical methods; (2) pure statistical methods with zero-ratio classification; and (3) the XGBoost algorithm with zero-ratio classification. Model performance was evaluated using Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) metrics. The results showed that the hybrid approach achieved the best performance with an MAE of 2.919 and an RMSE of 8.056, indicating higher prediction accuracy compared to other models. The findings demonstrate that integrating machine learning with statistical approaches can effectively enhance forecasting accuracy and support data-driven decision-making in warehouse management.

Development of Game Based Learning Media for Komering Culture (Case Study at Karang Binangun Elementary School)
The development of Android smartphone technology demands innovation in learning, one of which is through educational games. The Komering culture, as a treasure of South Sumatra, faces the challenges of globalization, which has led to a decline in the younger generation's understanding and appreciation of local cultural heritage. Karang Binangun State Elementary School has integrated Komering language lessons as local content for 6th grade students, but learning still uses conventional methods with textbooks without the development of digital media. This study aims to develop and evaluate Komering culture-based learning media in the form of games to improve local cultural learning in elementary school students. The research uses the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) method, which includes the stages of Initiation, Pre-production, Production, Testing, Beta, and Release. The game was developed to cover material on Komering script, language, traditional houses, dances, traditional clothing, and traditional food, and was designed for a single user. The evaluation was conducted through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) involving students and teachers. The results of the study show that the satisfaction level of respondents in the UAT reached 91.88% out of 22 respondents, indicating that the game is very suitable for use as a learning medium. The game has been released and can be accessed via Google Drive for widespread use. This digital learning medium is expected to contribute to the preservation of Komering culture through a modern, interactive, and effective approach
Design and Build a Robusta Coffee Shop Information System as a Website-Based Transaction and Promotion Media (Case Study: Kite Robusta Coffee Shop Pagar Alam
Mosques play a central role in Muslim community life, not only as places of worship but also as centers for social and financial activities such as donations, alms management, and information dissemination. However, in the current era of rapid technological development, many mosques still rely on manual systems for financial management and communication. This condition often leads to recording errors, calculation inaccuracies, data loss, limited access to information, and reduced transparency, which can affect public trust in mosque management. Therefore, innovation in the form of information technology is needed to support more effective, accurate, and transparent mosque administration. This research aims to assist the management of Raudhatul Mukhlisin Mosque in improving the efficiency and accuracy of mosque financial data management through the development of a website-based information system. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, consisting of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. This study employed qualitative research methods with data collection techniques including observation and literature review. The system was built using PHP, HTML, and MySQL, and tested using the Black Box method. The results indicate that the system facilitates financial data processing, reporting, and information access, while increasing transparency and accountability for mosque administrators and worshippers
Designing History-Based Educational Games to Improve Cognitive Empathy in Children with ASD: A Pilot Study
Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) face significant challenges in Theory of Mind (ToM), particularly in understanding others' perspectives. While serious games have shown potential, most existing interventions focus on basic emotion recognition without engaging narrative contexts. Objective: This pilot study aims to design a history-based serious game, "Tarumanegara Adventure," and evaluate its preliminary effectiveness in improving cognitive empathy among children with high-functioning ASD. Using a mixed-methods case study approach with a one-group pretest - post-test design, six students with ASD (aged 8-15) participated in a 2-week intervention. The game integrates historical narratives as a logical scaffold with explicit emotion scaffolding and moral decision-making mechanics. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test and triangulated with behavioral observations. Quantitative results showed a significant increase in cognitive empathy scores (p = 0.0312) with a large effect size (Cohen’s d = 3.19). However, triangulation revealed a "knowing-doing gap," in which higher cognitive scores did not correlate significantly with spontaneous prosocial behavior (ρ = -0.36). Conclusion: The history-based narrative approach effectively enhances cognitive knowledge of empathy by providing a structured context. However, bridging the gap between cognitive understanding and spontaneous behavioral application remains a critical challenge for future game design
Relative Growth Rate (RGR) and Net Assimilation Rate (NAR) of Green Beans (Vigna radiata L.) with Combination of Organic Fertilizers in Ultisol Soil
This study aimed to investigate the impact of the interaction between organic fertilizer on the Relative Growth Rate (RGR) and Net Assimilation Rate (NAR) of mung beans grown in Ultisol soil. The research was conducted in Pangkalan Kuras District, Pelalawan Regency, from July to October 2024. The experimental design was a factorial, completely randomized design (CRD) with two factors. The first factor consisted of different doses of bamboo leaf compost fertilizer (0, 50, 100, and 150 g/plant), while the second factor included various concentrations of tofu liquid waste POC (0, 25%, 50%, and 75%). Statistical analysis was performed using variance analysis followed by the Honest Real Difference Test (BNJ) at a significance level of 5%. The results indicated that the interaction between bamboo leaf compost fertilizer and tofu liquid waste POC significantly influenced the plants' relative growth rate and net assimilation rate. The most effective treatment was observed with 150 g/plant of bamboo leaf compost fertilizer combined with 75% concentration of tofu liquid waste. Furthermore, the main effect of bamboo leaf compost fertilizer was significant on RGR and NAR, with the optimal treatment being 150 g/plant. Similarly, the main effect of tofu liquid waste was significant on RGR and NAR, with the best treatment observed at a 75% concentration
Characteristics of Soil Chemical Properties and Soil Fertility in Land Types in Several Villages of North Rantau District, Labuhanbatu Regency
Soil chemical characteristics and fertility status are crucial for evaluating potential obstacles to using land for agricultural purposes and plantations. This study aimed to assess soil’s chemical properties and fertility status in home gardens and agricultural land across several sub-districts in the Rantau Utara District. The experiment was conducted over three months, from September 2024 to November 2024, in the sub-districts of Aek Paing, Pulo Padang, Padang Matinggi, Rantauprapat, and Sirandorung. A survey methodology was employed, followed by composite soil sampling at 0-20 cm depth. The composite soil samples were analyzed in the laboratory, measuring parameters such as soil pH, organic carbon (C), total nitrogen (N), carbon-to-nitrogen (C/N) ratio, available phosphorus (P), exchangeable base cations, cation exchange capacity (CEC), and base saturation. Data were analyzed using the soil chemical status assessment criteria and soil fertility assessment criteria established by the Bogor Soil Research Center. The results indicated that: (1) the chemical properties of the soil in home gardens and agricultural land across various sub-districts in Rantau Utara District exhibited a soil pH ranging from very acidic to acidic, organic carbon content varying from low to high, total nitrogen levels classified as low to moderate, C/N ratios from moderate to high, available phosphorus levels from very low to moderate, CEC classified as relatively very low, and base cations categorized as very low to moderate. Optimization of Concentration and Frequency of Liquid Organic Fertilizer Application on Cherry Tomato Plants (Lycopersicum esculentum var. Ruby) Growth and Yield
Cherry tomatoes (Lycopersicum esculentum var. Ruby) represent a significant segment of global vegetable production. In Indonesia, there is a notable demand for cherry tomatoes, as they serve dual purposes: they can be enjoyed fresh as a dessert or thirst quencher, and they can also be incorporated into a variety of culinary dishes and beverages. Their distinctive flavor and appearance make them popular for diverse culinary applications. The economic potential of cherry tomatoes is substantial, driven by strong demand in both local and international markets. However, cherry tomato cultivation's low productivity levels do not match this high consumer interest. An alternative approach to enhance productivity is using liquid organic fertilizer (POC), which is rich in various macro and micronutrients. This research aims to assess the impact of different concentrations and application frequencies of Hantu POC on the growth and yield of cherry tomato plants. A factorial randomized block design was employed, focusing on two primary variables: the concentration of Hantu POC (0 ml/l, 5 ml/l, 10 ml/l, and 15 ml/l) and the frequency of application (every 4 days, 7 days, and 10 days). Key parameters measured included plant height, leaf count, fruit quantity, and weight. Findings indicated that a concentration of 10 ml/l applied every 7 days yielded optimal results. Conversely, extending the application beyond 7 days resulted in suboptimal outcomes, with an average plant height of 49.44 cm and a total fruit weight of 311.94 grams. This study underscores the importance of identifying Hantu POC's appropriate concentration and application frequency to enhance cherry tomato production and promote sustainable agricultural practices

The purpose of this study was to determine the composition of planting media and the concentration of shallot extract on the growth of cuttings of Javanese chili plants. This research was conducted in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Baturaja University, from January to April 2024. This study used a factorial completely randomized design (CRD), with 2 factors, namely: 1) comparison of planting media as many as 4 treatments, namely Soil (Control), Soil + Sand + Manure (1:1:1), Soil + Cocopeat + Manure (1:1:1), Soil + Husk Charcoal + Manure (1:1:1); 2) concentration of shallot extract as many as 4 treatments, namely; No Shallot Extract, 30% Concentration, 60% Concentration, 90% Concentration, and repeated 3 times. Observed variables: Shoot growth time, shoot length, number of leaves, root length, number of roots. The results showed that the interaction between planting media and growth hormone (shallot extract) had no significant effect on the growth parameters of Javanese chili plants. The combination of planting media soil + cocopeat + manure with 90% concentration of shallot extract gives results that tend to be better on all variables observed.
