    Get PDF
Cassava (Manihot esculenta) is one of Indonesia’s key agricultural commodities but is vulnerable to various leaf diseases, such as Cassava Bacterial Blight (CBB) and Cassava Mosaic Disease (CMD). These diseases often exhibit similar visual symptoms, making it challenging for farmers to accurately identify them through manual observation. This study aims to develop an automatic cassava leaf disease detection system based on transfer learning, utilizing the MobileNetV2 architecture. The dataset used consists of 1,500 images, evenly distributed across three categories: CBB, CMD, and healthy leaves. The data underwent preprocessing, augmentation, and model training, including fine-tuning of the last 20 layers of the MobileNetV2 model. Evaluation results indicated that the model achieved an accuracy of 67% on the test set, with the highest performance in detecting Cassava Mosaic Disease, reflected by an F1-score of 0.75. These results demonstrate the potential of MobileNetV2 as a lightweight and efficient solution for detecting cassava leaf diseases, particularly when supported by a larger and more diverse dataset. This research serves as a foundation for developing mobile-based diagnostic tools to help farmers make faster and more accurate decisions in the field

    Get PDF
Shopee is one of the most popular online marketplaces in Indonesia, with more than 103 million users in 2023. Most users consider factors such as customer reviews, ratings, prices, and free shipping promotions before making a purchase. Analyzing user reviews is essential to understand consumer perceptions of services, identify satisfaction or dissatisfaction, and detect potential issues that need to be addressed. However, sentiment analysis faces challenges in processing text with diverse language styles, structures, and informal expressions. To overcome these challenges, this study applies machine learning algorithms—Support Vector Machine (SVM) and K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN)—for classifying sentiment in Shopee user reviews. Data labeling using the Lexicon InSet method produced 9,509 positive reviews (47.55%), 7,686 negative reviews (38.43%), and 2,805 neutral reviews (14.03%). Based on the Confusion Matrix results, SVM outperformed KNN, particularly in classifying negative and neutral sentiments with higher accuracy. These findings indicate that SVM is a more effective and efficient model for sentiment analysis of user reviews on the Shopee platform

A Decision-Making Model for Kindergarten School Selection Using the AHP Method: A Case Study of West Bekasi

    Get PDF
Choosing a Kindergarten (TK) is an important decision for parents because it involves many aspects such as the quality of educators, curriculum, facilities, costs, and environmental safety. However, the complexity of these criteria often creates uncertainty in making objective decisions. This study applies the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to help provide recommendations for selecting the best kindergarten in the West Bekasi area. The hierarchical structure is built with six main criteria assessed by respondents through pairwise comparisons using Expert Choice. The synthesis results show that Kindergarten C received the highest weight of 0.433, followed by other alternatives, thus being determined as the best choice based on the criteria used. A Consistency Ratio (CR) value of 0.1 indicates that respondents' assessments are within the consistent limit (CR ≤ 0.1). Thus, the AHP model is proven to be able to measure priorities in a structured manner and help parents in making decisions about choosing a kindergarten more objectively and rationally. &nbsp
