Trends of Entrance Examinees to Niimi College
Get PDF2004年(平成16年)4月、本学では、将来構想委員会が「新見公立短期大学在学生アンケート(志望動向)」による在学生の受験志望動向に関する調査を行った。本報告は、その調査結果の集計をもとに、2002年度に本学で行われた「第1回学生生活実態調査」(学生生活委員会および自己点検・評価委員会による)集計と比較し、在学生の受験動向をまとめたものである。その結果、全学的に本学第一志望の学生の占める割合が増加していること、看護学科で国公立四年制大学志望者が増加していることが分かった。そして、公立・免許資格・専門職養成の三大動機が本学志望の特徴であることが明らかになった。The planning committee of Niimi College investigated the entrance examination trends of our college in April, 2004. An investigation on students' life was done by the student affairs committee and the self evaluation committee in Niimi College in 2002. This report compares the two investigations, and reveals the students' trends of Niimi College's entrance examination. As a result of an investigation on entrance examination to Niimi College, we came to understand that the number of students who wanted to come to Niimi College as their first choice is increasing in all the departments, and that in the Department of Nursing, the number of students who wanted to go to a four-year national university is increasing. We have also clarified that there are the three major motives:1) being public, 2) providing license qualifications, and 3) being a professional training facility.25KJ00004169073報

Get PDF六年前の夏に当時の本学、教育学、文学の同僚からお誘いを受け、西日本人物誌「8」仙〓を共同で執筆させていただいた。好評を頂いたのだろうか平成十六年の夏に増刷となった。青年期にあるひとびとへのメッセージといった意図もあり、執筆担当の章では青年期におけるアイデンティティを考慮しながら禅の観点を紹介させていただいた。残念なことに、編集に際しては紙面の都合もあり割愛された部分がかなり出てしまい意図するところを十分に伝えることができなかった。そして、この原稿も日の目をみないままに放置されていた。ところがこれを目にした卒業生から論文として手元に欲しいとの注文があり、今回、修正したり、加筆しながら体裁を整えてみた。自我の問題とその確立に向けて、無門関を通した禅の観点から論じながら、自我の認識論について、時には筆者自信の経験を通して、あるいは中心主題である仙〓を通し、さらには十牛図を紹介しながら論考した。I published a book concerned SENGAI, a Zen priest, with the former coworkers six years ago. My subject in the book was to argue about the establishment of identity in the human development, especially young adolescence, however, the purport could not be reflected for want of space. This paper is the rest of its manuscript. I discussed the self (What is myself?) through MUMONKAN, JYUHGYUH figures in the ZEN sect, SENGAI and some of my experiences, and indicated the relation to the establishment of identity and the world of ZEN.32KJ00004169080論

The author has argued that the number has been adopted into modern sports. The author has found a picture which visually shows that world of sports is conscious of the numeric symbol, and that symbols of sports world and those of Germanic peoples are directly connected. Options of Science Subjects in High Schools and Science Literacy among the Nursing Students of Niimi College (3)
Get PDF新見公立短期大学看護学科学生の入学時における自然科学系の学力(科学リテラシー)を把握することを目的として,2003年度以来の調査を基に2005年度入学生を対象として調査を実施した。その結果,従来と同様に,高等学校において理科の科目としては基礎的内容の生物IBを系統的に学び,発展的内容の生物IIや化学などその他の科目は必要に応じて履修した学生が多数を占めた。科目選択は,大学等の入試準備と将来の進路を考慮することを理由とするものが主であった。自然科学に対して比較的高い関心を示すが,その対象は生物学分野に偏っている傾向が示された。関心と嗜好の理由を調査したところ,自然科学分野に対して学校の科目と認識し,一般的な知的好奇心の対象ではないことが示唆された。科学的基礎知識の水準は,比較的良好であったが,正解率は2004年度入学生より低下傾向を示した。2005年度入学生の特徴として,高等学校における物理や化学系の科目の選択率が従来より高く,嗜好調査でも物理学および化学が好きとの回答が増加した。We investigated options of science subjects in high schools and science literacy among the nursing students enrolled in Niimi College in the Summer Semester of 2005 based on the studies performed in 2003 and 2004. The results were almost identical to those reported in the previous papers (The Bulletin of Niimi College 24, 113-120, 2003 and 25, 43-51, 2004) but some details. Most of the students studied Biology systematically in high schools, especially the Basic Biology (named Biology IB). More students studied chemistry and physics in high schools and were interested in the subjects than before. They were interested in natural science; however, their concern had a tendency to be limited to biological fields. The analysis of their preference for sciences suggested that most of the students did not recognize scientific fields as objects of intellectual curiosity but only school science subjects. Relation among their scientific knowledge, options of science subjects in high schools and preference for sciences is also discussed.6KJ00004417102原
How Helpful Nursing Research in Fundamental Nursing Education is to the Research Activity after Graduation : From past five years' graduate survey
Get PDF現在、看護研究は臨床現場においても欠かせないものとなってきている。そこで、A短期大学(以下A短大)の看護学科卒業生を対象に、臨床現場での研究の実状を把握し、看護基礎教育としての『看護研究』の、卒業後(以下卒後)の研究活動への役立ちと、今後、学生における『看護研究』への教育指導上の課題を明らかにするために、アンケート調査を行った。その結果、「研究方法」では、事例研究と質問紙による調査研究方法が多く使われていた。これは学生のときの「研究方法」と異なっており、それに伴って「データ分析」方法も異なるため役立ちに結びついていないことがわかった。「論文作成」については、学生時代の研究経験が役立っており、教育効果が認められた。全体として、『看護研究』を経験することについて、「良かった」と回答したものが8割を超えており、卒後の研究活動に役立ったといえる。今後は、研究方法論が多く学べるようなゼミ形式の導入などについての検討を行うこと、また、卒業生が相談できるようなサポート体制などの検討が必要である。Now nursing research is essential in the clinical practice field as well. A graduate questionnaire was conducted in order to understand how to do nursing research in hospitals, to find out how helpful Nursing Research at college was and to reveal the problems in teaching Nursing Research. The result shows that the research method and data analysis method learned at college were not very helpful, but that what was learned in Nursing Research was very helpful to essay writing. On the whole, more than 80% responded that studying Nursing Research was good and helpful to the research activity after graduation.15KJ00004797613原

Get PDF本短大看護学科の地域貢献活動について、平成16年度から開始された文部科学省の現代的教育ニーズ取組支援プログラム(現代GP)において設定されたテーマのうち「地域活性化への貢献(地元型)」へ応募し、今回平成18年度の審査において選定され、大学改革推進等補助金が受けられることに決定した。本論文は、その申請内容を基に、看護学科の地域貢献活動と看護専門職養成との融合である「サービス・ラーニング」の取組を紹介する。The Nursing Department of Niimi College entered the research paper contest in the field of "Contribution for Local Revitalization", which is one of the themes set in modern educational needs support programs (Modern GP) started by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) in 2004. In 2006 our paper was selected as one of the winners, and MEXT are to award us the subsidy for the promotion of college reform. This study, based on the contents of the entry paper, shows "Service Learning" which is the combination of nursing training and local contribution activities of our nursing department.20KJ00004797618報

Get PDF本報告は、旧大佐町とアメリカ合衆国ニューヨーク州ニューパルツ・ヴィレッジの姉妹都市交流に積極的に関わってきたニューパルツ国際交流協会の13名の会員に対するアンケート結果を集約し、この姉妹都市交流がニューパルツ・ヴィレッジの市民にどのような影響を与えたかについてまとめたものである。回答者がニューパルツ国際交流協会で積極的に姉妹都市交流に関わってきた市民達であることもあり、姉妹都市交流の経験が彼らの人生および生活に与えた肯定的影響について多く記述されている。This report deals with the comments for the questionnaire on the sister city relationship between New Paltz Village, New York, USA and Osa Town, Okayama, Japan. The questionnaire was done to 13 members of New Paltz International Exchange Association. The respondents were asked about what kind of sister city exchanges they had experienced, if the exchange has changed their life in any way, what kind of exchanges they think we need in the future, and so forth. Students' learning in psychiatric nursing practice : An analysis based on their final practice reports
Get PDF本研究は、精神看護学臨地実習における学生の学びと、今後の課題を明らかにすることを目的としている。自由記載された実習総括レポートを分析対象とし、記述された内容を質的・帰納的に分析した。分析の結果、学びの内容として【対象理解の手だて】【関係成立の手だて】の2つのコアカテゴリーが形成された。対象理解の手だてからは【患者の存在を実感する】【病の意味を考える】【自己を洞察する】の3カテゴリーが、関係成立の手だてからは【援助関係を結ぶ】【援助関係を深める】の2カテゴリーが抽出された。実習のねらいである「対象理解」と「関係性」に関する具体的な学びの内容が明らかになるとともに、自己洞察がねらいの達成に必要な体験であることがわかった。This study aimed to clarify students' learning in psychiatric nursing practice as well as future tasks. Students' free descriptions in their final practice reports were subjected to qualitative, inductive analysis, from which two core categories were identified as the contents of students' learning: "measures to understand the subject," and "measures to develop relationships." Then, three subcategories, namely "feel the presence of the patient," "consider the meanings of illness," and "reflect on the self," were extracted from the former, and two subcategories, "build an assisting relationship" and "deepen the assisting relationship," were derived from the latter. These results indicated what students had actually learned concerning the goals of the practice, i.e., "subject understanding" and "relationship," and suggested the necessity of reflecting on the self in achieving these goals.14KJ00005818588原
