Empirical studies on categorizing learning motivation and vocational values view
This study examines characteristics of vocational values by categorizing learning
motivation, and examines whether there are differences depending on grade level.
A questionnaire survey was conducted on 293 college women. Cluster analysis
categorized learning motivation into four group types: “spontaneous motivation”,
“high comprehensive motivation”, “low comprehensive motivation”, and “practical
motivation”. Factor analysis results indicate seven factors in vocational values. In 1st
grade, the rate of “high comprehensive motivation” group is high, and “interpersonal
oriented”, “civil servant and teacher oriented” is significantly high, but in 2nd and
3rd grade, these rates decrease and comprehensive motivation becomes lower. In
3rd grade, from the perception of reality, “clerical work oriented” becomes higher. In
the case of “psychological satisfaction oriented”, there is no significant difference
between categories, and those who seek mental satisfaction such as social contribution
for a vocational values are unlikely to change their motivation. It is suggested that
educational support and intervention for connection with occupation is desired from
2nd grade in the“ low comprehensive motivation” group because they have a passive
attitude to learning and motivation is low.departmental bulletin pape
Consideration of a class hypothesis about a topic of discussion
According to Course of Study, each school should be committed to enhancing its
instruction to enable students to acquire basic fundamental knowledge and skills,
to foster their abilities to think, to make decisions, to express themselves and other
abilities that are necessary to solve problems. The use of acquired knowledge and skills
can cultivate an attitude of proactive learning and develop students’ individuality.
Therefore, to cultivate positive personal and collaborative relationships among
students through communication will be more important than current methods of
teaching. In this study we examined how to communicate with each other effectively
through the class debate. As a result, we found that it was necessary not only to teach
the skills of communication intensively, but also pay closer attentions to the students’
reactions. And it was also important to consider a topic of discussion. Furthermore, we
noted we should make the new materials focus on the development of speaking and
listening abilities to foster the active class debate.departmental bulletin pape

nurses and students use officially. School nurse are working in the elementary school.
Students are learning childcare and school nurse education. The words that intended

stay and healing. We categorized many replied images. As a result we found various
kinds of categories such as meaning of that words, method to introduce the meaning
of the words, method to realize the contents of that words, reaction when they heard
that words, and so on. In answers of school nurse there were many answers reflecting
their job experience in comparison with students. As a result of these it was suggested
that even the conversation between a school nurse and students was more likely to be
used for a different meaning and image.departmental bulletin pape
Survey on Status and Attitudes of Junior High School Students Concerning "Health Bulletins"
About 95% of Yo-go teacher issue Health Bulletins as part of their health guidance
activities. Although some earlier studies surveyed the status of Health Bulletins among
nursing teachers, only a few surveys have been conducted that focus on students since
a survey was conducted in 1987 by Namba, et al. In this study, a survey is conducted
on the attitudes of students towards Health Bulletins and to consider preparation of
Health Bulletins that would incorporate their status.
As a result of the study, it was found that girls are more conscious of their health
than boys, a trend similar to that shown by Namba, et al., 30 years ago. Moreover,
80% of the students consider Health Bulletins as useful, and it is indicated that
preparation of Health Bulletins useful for the students’ health is expected to continue.
With the diversification of schools and students, it is required to prepare and issue
Health Bulletins that match actual situations accordingly.departmental bulletin pape

Current Status of Health Examinations at Schools for Special Needs Education and What Is Expected of Yo-go Teachers : Through Practical Situations at School "A" for Children with Intellectual Disabilities or Health Impairments
In previous studies, we presented efforts through inspections during school health
examinations for students who need special support and methodologies such as
details on instructions before/after examinations as well as described the necessity for
consideration according to the characteristics of their disabilities, however, these are
not matters prescribed for health examinations at schools for special needs education.
Therefore, this study aims to explore the current status of health examinations
conducted at schools for children with intellectual disabilities or health impairments
and clarify the role of Yo-go teachers during such health examinations at schools for
special needs education through concrete episodes. As a result of the study, what is
expected of nursing teachers during school health examinations at schools for special
needs education was revealed as follows: (i) ingenuity as a practitioner; (ii) relationship
of trust with students; and (iii) liaison and coordination efforts with class teachers and
external doctors, etc.departmental bulletin pape
Team Support in School Education : From Status Survey among School Managers and Yo-go Teachers
In recent years, issues related to the physical and mental health of children have
grown increasingly complicated and diverse. Schools are expected to develop a system
of coordination and role-sharing among themselves and teachers in order to enhance
their functions. This study compared differences in recognition and line of thought
related to “team support” in school education between school administrators and
Yo-go teacher in consideration of qualities and abilities required of nursing teachers
engaged in“ team support” and the method of implementation. As a result of the study,
it was found that liaison and coordination with specialized staff and other stakeholders
are important elements for nursing teachers engaged in“ team support” and the role of
coordinator is expected of them in various situations, for which they need to develop
a harmonious relationship with people inside and outside of school. Further, it is
considered that Yo-go teachers need to have contacts with people outside of school on
a daily basis in order to coordinate necessary people for various situations.departmental bulletin pape
A study about the spirit of establishment of women's university : Based on the spirit of Kyushu Women's University
In late years, in the women’s university of our country, a tendency of the
coeducation is seen. So, it is thought that it is an extremely important research theme
to make the spirit of the founder of the women’s university clear and to consider the
problem and the prospects and the directionality of women’s higher education. There
was the tendency that a women’s university shifted to a coeducational university,
but in Kyushu Women’s University, education system of the women’s university was
chosen. So, we get back to an idea in case of the university establishment and make
the spirit of the founder clear again. Therefore, we look back toward the spirit of the
founder of Kyushu Women’s University.departmental bulletin pape
Expansion of Art and Philosophy of Art Education : Update on practical Art Education and its fundamental theory
This thesis discusses the concept of expanded art in modern times and the renewal
of art education. Post-modern art development has shown us the diversity of voices,
multicultural reality. In this paper, we focus on "The End of Art" by Arthur C. Danto
and "Extended Concept of Art" by Joseph Beuys. And the arguments of Reggio Emilia
Approach, Tim Rollins and K.O.S, Coco Room, Sendai Mediatheque are connected with
"extended artistic concept" and assertion of Japanese postwar private art educational
movement. By paying attention to today's "doing art", art education can show words
and educational practices that are widely wished for, not as a matter of a subject of
public education in Japan, but for our society .departmental bulletin pape
The current state of the group gymnastics formation and problem in a physical education event at school
Sports agency awakened to school carefully about an accident prevention by group
gymnastics in a physical education-like event in 2016, but occurrence of an accident
still continues. So we did an attitude survey about group gymnastics to an elementary
school teachers and the victim family of an accident.
The results of the attitude survey were as follows. There were "when safety was
secured, introduction agreement" and "even if safety was secured, the introduction
opposite" for an answer of elementary school teachers about group gymnastics. But
both teachers recognized danger hard in common.
Teachers have to confer carefully because a judgement of group gymnastics
implementation is trusted to school finally. When performing group gymnastics, all
teachers emphasize the purpose and educational value, and consider in the movement
ability of the school children individual and the special quality of the boys and girls
at the top with risk management consciousness, usually, implementation of safety
training is needed.
An important thing is to have sense of impending crisis hard, learn an accident case
in the past and argue sufficiently at school. In particular, the victim family insists,
we're never supposed to forget the opinion by which we assume "If teachers feel
danger, they have to stop introduction once and reconsider."departmental bulletin pape
