    Cultural Diplomacy Within Cooperation Between Russian Federation and the Republic of Moldova

                      The article focuses on research into contemporary mechanisms and practices of cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Moldova through cultural diplomacy. The author points out that cultural diplomacy illustrates a form of contemporary diplomacy aimed at informing and widening the public in other states in order to promote foreign policy through cultural aspects. In this context, the mechanisms and practices of cultural diplomacy are a reference in the socio-cultural evolution of a state, which brings great benefits to the image and state policy. Researching the possibilities of collaboration through the cultural diplomacy of the Russian Federation with the Republic of Moldova is based on the belief that cultural cooperation contributes to the understanding, development and consolidation of good-neighborly relations between Moldova and Russia. The author finds that the Republic of Moldova remains with old practices of promoting cultural diplomacy and can therefore take over some landmarks from the Russian experience of using cultural instruments. Inspiration from Russian cultural diplomacy will provide our country with new possibilities of manifesting national culture abroad

    This article supports the idea that anthropology offers practical contributions towards more effective and co-participated development and cooperation processes. The work addresses institutions and those active in the context of integration of the displaced Georgians of Abkhazia. I propose the so-called Abkhazian School, which is usually stigmatized as a metaphor for the failure of integration process, as a space for a successful encounter and meaningful exchange between the community of the displaced (IDPs) and local people, by fuelling the interests and needs of them both. My position sets on the ethnographic terrain I have been researching and working in the last three years; furthermore develops through the presentation of crucial anthropological concepts such as identity, memory, space, belonging and socialization. Specifically, I focus on the connection between identity of IDPs and the land of Abkhazia during their dislocation in Tbilisi.

    After the restoration of the state independence of Georgia in the field of social sciences, the attitude and assessment of political education has changed. Despite the reliance on ideology and academic disciplines, including the principles of policy sciences, their development in line with formal or informal rules that stand far from real institutionalization frameworks. Moreover, the latter acquired sharply differentiated and less regular character. One of the most challenging tasks in the general public is the revival of the structure, content and learning methods of political education. To change not only the list and methods of political education, but also the science of science facing a difficult task to ensure the formation of ideas and ideas that are respond well to the achievements of the world civilization, the fair state and the development of civil society

    The article looks at the methodological problems that allow analyzing regularities of building relations within one state and in the global landscape. The author focuses on the description of two global paradigms - the liberal and the communitarian (solidarism) ones.     Georgian Diaspora and Current Diaspora Policy in Georgia

               Apart from historical diasporas, over million Georgian citizens reside abroad these days. Majority of them who went abroad in search of jobs should be considered migrants. Diaspora has great importance both for their families and Georgian economy. Therefore, Georgia needs to have a   well-considered diaspora policy in place.      Studying the interest spheres of diaspora members, their problems, the ways of strengthening their links with Georgia and developing the relevant policy is the biggest challenge  for Georgian political parties, especially for the ruling party, which is responsible for carrying out the adequate diaspora policy. In this article we will try to look at the present day diaspora policy for which purpose we will discuss “2016-2020 Migration Strategy of Georgia”, the document developed   by the ruling party (“Georgian Dream”)    and carry out content analysis of 2016  election platform on diaspora of the above party and make comparisons.

    Article “Factors of Participatory Urban Policy: Urban activism through the prism of Post-materialistic Theory”, through the prism of Post-materialistic theory analyses data’s of Georgia accumulated during the 5th and 6th waves of World Value Survey (WVS) and studies how materialistic values of the societies are changing and becoming post-materialistic. The main focus is on public participation in city government and especially on urban activism. As, in Georgian reality, green activism is the main form of activism, article questions either it is the reaction on numbers of ecological and urban problems that appeared in Tbilisi during last 10 years,  or still it is a sign of shifting materialistic Georgian society into the side of post-materialistic values.

    Whitin the last decades political communication has suffered transformation in the world’s ongoing globalization conditions. Political personalization is the main characteristic of political communication not only in transitional democracies, but in developed democracies too. There are three types of political personalization in academic literature: Media personalization, institutional personalization and electoral personalization.The present article aims to examine political personalization in media context in Georgia. In accordance with the research hypothesis weak institutionalization of party system promotes media personalization. It should be determined by the results of study, whether there is media personalization? What characteristics is detected? How it is connected to the party system institutionalization? The Survey results suggest, big part of time in media coverage is devoted to the problem consideration. Nevertheless, there is political personalization in Georgia and it has negative character.             In the research are used qualitative methods: The Analysis of personal coverage (Issue / Process); Distribution of the  personalization evidence by types; The resaerch of the character and quality of personalization. In-depth interviews with representatives of political parties and selected electorate

    The article deals with the Ukraine’s foreign policy strategy in terms of cooperation with the GUAM member countries (with Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Moldova). The author gives brief historic flashback to 1997, when GUAM had been founded, and explains the reasons why Ukraine pledged for cooperation with neighboring countries, which pursue the European and Euro-Atlantic integration as major foreign policy direction. The article also suggests main common grounds of the GUAM countries such as oil and gas transportation to Europe, „frozen” conflicts, and opposition to strong Russian influence
