POE (Predict, Observe, Explain) Model-Based Teaching Materials on Simple Harmonic Motion with a Virtual/Real Laboratory
Get PDFReferring to the problem of using conventional learning model and teaching material that were less supportive as learning sources, especially in the physics subject, this study aimed to develop POE (Predict, Observe, Explain) model-based teaching materials on simple harmonic motion with a virtual/real laboratory. The type of research used in this study was research and development based on Borg and Gall's framework, which consisted of five steps. The validation subjects consisted of physics lecturers at FMIPA UM, high school physics teachers, and fifteen students from SMA Laboratorium Malang. The research instruments used were an assessment questionnaire and a questionnaire for comments and suggestions. Data analysis techniques used quantitative data by calculating the average and qualitative analysis with suggestions or comments as the result of readability data. The results of validating the student and teacher teaching materials showed a result of 3.62 and 3.63 respectively, indicating that the materials were deemed feasible. The results of readability validation by students indicated that the students agreed that the concept map, material, and sample questions were easy to understand and did not cause double meanings. Therefore, the teaching materials are considered appropriate to be used as learning resources that support student learning and understanding of simple harmonic motion
Research Test on Formative Assessment Product
Get PDFThe development of a formative assessment instrument is supposed to be based on the components of Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM / Minimum Competency Assessment). The components consist of content, cognitive processes and context and the instrument including the content of informational texts and socio-cultural and scientific contexts. However, in the cognitive process component, the textbook used in Grade X SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Susu North Sumatera provides information only. It does not include interpretation and integration, evaluation, and reflection. Furthermore, in line with the rules of the AKM, it is necessary to analyse the competency components measured according to the learning level for class X. 1. This research using a Feasibility study investigated the formative assessment of historical recount text based on AKM in reading skills for class X. This product based on the item validation process can be used as a formative assessment. The product formative assessment of historical recount text based on AKM in reading skills becomes a reference for teachers to prepare formative assessments or other assessments based on AKM. This is to familiarize and prepare students for the National Assessment specific to AKM. This conclusion comes from a result of testing data from material experts, Indonesian language teacher assessments and student responses
Implementasi Konsep Tri Hita Karana di PAUD
Get PDFTri Hita Karana is part of the Balinese way of life which can lead to harmonious relationships. The concept of Tri Hita Karana is an important part to be applied in the learning process in ECE because it is closely related to the formation of early childhood character. This research is a qualitative research that aims to describe the forms of implementation of the Tri Hita Karana concept in ECE activities. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and notes on learning activities in ECE. The subjects of this study were 5 teachers from ECE with Hindu nuances in Tabanan Regency, Bali. The research data were analyzed qualitatively using the Miles and Huberman model, which consisted of: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion/verification. The results of the study show that there are various forms of implementation of the Tri Hita Karana concept in activities in ECE, which can be divided into 3 categories, namely: 1) Parhayangan consists of: praying/praying together, wearing prayer clothes that are polite and neat, praying before do activities, and give thanks for what is obtained. 2) Pawongan, consisting of: showing respect and politeness when meeting or talking to other people, sharing toys with friends, playing with anyone regardless of background, sharing food, helping friends in need, saying sorry when wrong and receiving love when receive something. 3) Weakening, consisting of: cleaning the school environment, keeping places of worship clean, caring for plants, disposing of trash in its place, and tidying up toys after use. The implementation of the Tri Hita Karana concept in ECE will be one of the efforts to instill character values in early childhood which are also in accordance with the values of Pancasila students

No full textThis paper analyzes the national disintegration conflict and how it impacts nationalism. Nationalism is very important in maintaining the integrity of a nation because basically it is a national ideology that teaches love for the motherland and the people. It can be seen that Indonesian nationalism is currently facing big challenges such as the frequent occurrence of KKN which are spread throughout the country, the uncontrolled entry of foreign cultures, and the loss of confidence in the nation and its own country. The nationalism of the Indonesian people is currently experiencing changes both in terms of challenges and development compared to the past. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. In this case, researchers interpret and explain the data obtained by researchers from interviews, observation, documentation, so as to get answers to problems in detail and clearly. The results of this paper show that nationalism can be realized according to the abilities of each individual. Initially, the ideology of Pancasila as the basis of the state with the motto Bhineka Tunggal Ika was believed to tend to unite existing differences. There are many ideologies that already exist in this country that have received public support. Interaction between people of different ethnicities, religions and classes is easy to establish. is closely related to the understanding of differences of opinion with each other, as shown by the cooperation between different tribes which can be easily carried out with rational considerations. But the phenomenon of collapse that starts at the grassroots level is astonishing. The conclusion in this paper is nationalism as an assessment or evaluation of the love for the homeland and the nation for awareness and responsibility as citizens
PENGEMBANGAN ALAT PERMAINAN KOMPREHENSIF UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI PEDAGOGIK GURU PAUD
Get PDFSetiap guru PAUD harus memiliki kompetensi pedagogik, khususnya kompetensi dalam merancang bahan belajar dan menerapkan pembelajaran menggunakan bahan belajar yang sesuai dengan perkembangan anak didiknya. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) Dosen Pendidikan Guru PAUD Universitas Terbuka (PGPAUD UT) bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik Guru PAUD melalui kegiatan pengembangan alat permainan komprehensif (APK). Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui kegiatan luring dan daring. Mitra adalah Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Pandeglang dengan peserta 20 guru PAUD/TK yang berasal dari 10 lembaga terpilih. Pengukuran pencapaian PkM dilihat dari produk APK dan Sertifikat HKI yang dihasilkan dan hasil asesmen yang dilakukan terhadap semua peserta. Hasil PkM adalah lima produk APK, lima sertifikat HKI dan peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik sebesar 37%. Rekomendasi yang dapat disampaikan adalah kegiatan Pengembangan APK dapat dilanjutkan dan disebarkan kepada guru-guru PAUD di berbagai wilayah lainnya dan Guru yang telah mengikuti kegiatan ini dapat menyebarkan ilmu dan pengalamannya kepada sejawatnya.
Every PAUD teacher must have pedagogical competence, especially competence in designing learning materials and implementing learning using learning materials that are appropriate to the development of their students. Community service activities (PkM) for PAUD Teacher Education Lecturers at the Open University (PGPAUD UT) aim to improve the pedagogical competence of PAUD Teachers through comprehensive game tool development activities (APK). The implementation method is carried out through offline and online activities. The partner is the Pandeglang Regency Education and Culture Office with 20 PAUD/TK teachers participating from 10 selected institutions. The measurement of PkM achievement can be seen from the APK products and IPR Certificates produced and the results of assessments carried out on all participants. The results of PkM are five APK products, five IPR certificates, and an increase in pedagogical competence of 37%. The recommendation that can be made is that APK development activities can be continued and distributed to PAUD teachers in various other regions and teachers who have participated in this activity can spread their knowledge and experience to their colleagues
Determinants of Non-Performing Financing Islamic Finance Bank (BPRS) in Indonesia
Get PDFThis study aims to empirically test the determinants or factors that affect Non- Performing Finance (NPF) in Islamic Finance Banks (BPRS) in Indonesia. The determinants analyzed are internal and external factors. Internal factors consist of the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Financing to Deposits Ratio (FDR) and Operating Costs for Operating Income (BOPO). Meanwhile, external factors are inflation, exchange rate and interest rate (BI rate). This study uses a quantitative approach. The research data is secondary data obtained from the websites of the Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) and Bank Indonesia. The data collection technique is through time series data collection from 2013 to 2020. As for data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the study showed that simultaneously internal and external factors had an effect on Non-Performing Finance. While some of the internal factors, namely CAR, FDR and BOPO have a positive and significant effect on the NPF. On external factors, the exchange rate variable partially has a positive and significant effect on the NPF, while the BI Rate has a negative and significant effect on the NPF, but the inflation variable partially has no significant effect on the NPF
Pencapaian dan Peningkatan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Melalui Pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik
Get PDFThe aim of this study was to compare the achievement and improvement of students' critical thinking skills through realistic mathematics education approaches and conventional learning. This study uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental approach. The research design used a pretest-posttest control group design. The experimental group learning used the PMR approach and the control group used conventional learning. This study was conducted in October 2022. The participants in this study were students of class VIII of a junior high school in Belu district. The sample in this study was 50 students consisting of two classes, each class consisting of 25 students. The research instrument was in the form of critical thinking ability tests and learning implementation observation sheets. Analysis of achievement data and improvement of necessary thinking skills using the Independent Samples t-test. The results of the study show that the achievement and improvement of students' mathematical necessary thinking skills who learn through a realistic mathematics education approach are better than students who learn with conventional approaches. Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKPD Materi Harga Jual dan Harga Beli dengan Konteks Islami yang valid, praktis dan memiliki efek potensial terhadap hasil belajar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Design Research tipe Development Study. Metode penelitian pengembangan yang terdiri dari dua tahapan yaitu preliminary (tahap persiapan atau pendesainan) dan tahap prototyping menggunakan alur formative evaluation yang terdiri dari tahap self evaluation, expert review, one-to-one, small group, dan field test. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII salah satu SMP IT di Palembang, Sumatera Selatan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan tes. Penelitian ini telah menghasilkan LKPD LKPD Materi Harga Jual dan Harga Beli dengan Konteks Islami yang valid dilihat dari komentar dan saran dari validator melalui lembar validasi. Kemudian menghasilkan LKPD Materi Harga Jual dan Harga Beli dengan Konteks Islami yang praktis dengan melihat lembar komentar dan saran peserta didik pada tahap one-to-one, small group, dan field test. Kemudian telah menghasilkan LKPD Materi Harga Jual dan Harga Beli dengan Konteks Islami yang terdapat efek potensialnya terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik
Analisis Kemampuan Membaca Siswa Kelas Awal melalui Pendekatan Teaching at the Ringht Level (TaRL)
Get PDFPenelitian ini merupakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran TaRL terhadap literasi membaca peserta didik SD. Model penelitian yang diterapkan menggunakan proses pemebelajaran TaRL (Teaching at the Right Level). Model pembelajaran ini dikelompokan berdasarkan level pengetahuannya. Subyek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas I sampai kelas IV dengan jumlah peserta didik sebanyak 374 untuk 6 sekolah di SD Kecamatan Monta Kabupaten Bima dan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Untuk mengukur kemampuan literasi membaca peserta didik yaitu dengan cara tes lisan. Kemampuan literasi membaca peserta didik dalam penelitian ini dibagi menjadi lima level yaitu: (1) Level Pemula,(2) Level Huruf, (3) Level Kata, (4) Level Paragraf, (5) Level Cerita. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh pada level pemula sebesar 100 % peserta didik telah naik level, Pada level huruf sebesar 6% peserta didik telah naik level, kemudian pada level kata sebesar 47% peserta didik telah naik level, sedangkan level paragraf terjadi penambahan peserta didik sebanyak 12 orang, untuk level cerita sebesar 213% peserta didik telah naik level. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran TaRL dapat berpengaruh meningkatkan kemampuan literasi membaca peserta didik dengan persentase sebanyak 78% peserta didik telah mengalami peningkatan level kemampuan membaca
Peningkatan Aktivitas dan Hasil Belajar Matematika melalui Penerapan Model Learning Cycle 5E Berbantuan Tutor Sebaya
Get PDFPenelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar matematika melalui penerapan model Learning Cycle 5E berbantuan tutor sebaya. Subjek penelitian ini adala peserta didik kelas X-2 SMA Negeri 1 Kuta Utara Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023 yang terdiri dari 40 orang. Objek penelitian ini adala aktivitas dan hasil belajar matematika. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Kriteria keberhasilan penelitian ini yaitu: (a) meningkatnya persentase aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik dari siklus I ke siklus II; (b) terdapat minimal 80% dari jumlah peserta didik aktivitas belajar matematika dalam kategori aktif dan sangat aktif; dan (c) terdapat minimal 75% dari jumlah peserta didik nilainya lebih atau sama dengan 70 dalam kategori tuntas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: (a) tercapainya peningkatan aktivitas dalam kategori aktif dan sangat aktif pada siklus I sebesar 57,5% menjadi 85% pada siklus II; (b) meningkatnya ketuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik yang pada prasiklus sebesar 20%, pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 55%, dan pada siklus II mencapai 90%. Kesimpulan model Learning Cycle 5E berbantuan tutor sebaya mampu meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik
