Profitability of Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia: Third-Party Funds Analysis and Financing

This research aims to examine the correlation of Third Party Funds and Financing on the Profitability of Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia. The gap of this research is the different findings of the financial reports of Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia data for the 2018-2022 period, where the growth of Return On Assets (ROA) in third-party funds and financing is not always ideally balanced. This research elaborates on the profitability of Islamic Commercial Banks through Return On Assets (ROA). The data collection for this research is utilizing Secondary Research from the Islamic Commercial Bank financial report 2018-2022 period combined with a descriptive quantitative method with the help of Eviews 12 software. The result shows that third-party funds and financing have no significant effect on the profitability of Islamic Commercial Banks per se. Meanwhile, surprisingly third-party funds and financing altogether, simultaneously have a significant effect on profitability in Islamic Commercial Banks
Improving Understanding of Pressure Concepts in Students of SMP Satu Atap Kanda through Problem Based Learning Model
Get PDFThis research aims to increase the understanding of the concept of pressure in Class VIII students of Kanda One Roof Junior High School through the PBL Learning Model with Demonstration and Practice Procedures. This type of research is a type of Classroom Action Research (PTK) which focuses on the classroom atmosphere which is often called Classroom Action Research. The research population is class VIII students of SMP Satu Atap Kanda, one class is taken randomly, namely class VIII B. The method of analyzing information in this matter is tried to use statistics, tabulating information based on variables obtained from all respondents, Descriptive Statistical Test and T-test Analysis Method. Based on the results of this research, the description of the concept of pressure in Kanda One Roof Junior High School students has increased. This shows that there is a change in the increase in the students' concept description in the PBL learning model with demonstration and practice procedures
Meningkatkan Aktivitas dan Hasil Belajar Siswa Melalui Media Pembelajaran Ular Tangga Operasi Bilangan Bulat
Get PDFPenelitian ini dilakukan dilatarbelakangi adanya hasil belajar peserta didik yang minim, sehingga penelitian ini dilakukan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkanmengenai aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar siswa melalui mediapembelajaranular tangga operasi bilangan bulat. Dalam mediapembelajaranular tangga operasi bilangan bulat ini terdapat unsur permainan matematika yang menyenangkan bagi siswa. Hal ini menciptakan kegiatan belajar sambil bermain. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kurt Lewin. Populasi penelitian melibatkan 21 siswa kelas V SDN Panggungrejo Kota Pasuruandengan cara teknik pengambilan sampel tidak acak Purposive Sampling. Penelitian menggunakan analisis data kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data statistik deskriptif dilakukan dengan observasi, dan tes (pretest dan posttest). Untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar siswa melalui media ular tangga pada materi matematika operasi bilangan bulat, dilakukan analisis data kualitatif melalui tiga tahap siklus, antara lain pra siklus, siklus I, dan siklus II. Dimanaprasiklus60,30%, siklus I 76,50% dan siklus II 92,80% dalam aktivitas belajarmengalamipeningkatan serta dalam hasil belajar siswa padapra siklus 63,50%, siklus I 78,80%, siklus II 92,60% mengalami peningkatan. Maka, dari hasil penelitian yang sudah dilakukan mendapatkan suatu implikasi bahwa dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran ular tangga operasi bilangan bulat ini dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi operasi bilangan bulat dengan maksimalpada siswa kelas V SDN Panggungrejo Kota Pasuruan
Increasing Mathematical Literacy and Numeracy Abilities with Problem-Based Learning Model Through Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge
Get PDFThe background of this research was that nowadays high school students are required to have a significant understanding and appreciation of mathematics. The fact was that students experience difficulties in learning mathematics, including their mathematical literacy and numeracy abilities. The aim of this study was to investigate the significance of the effect of the PBL learning model using TPACK on students' mathematical literacy and numeracy abilities; The method used in this research was quasi-experimental. The statistical analysis tool used was the MANOVA test which is used to analyze two dependent variables (mathematical literacy and numeracy abilities) simultaneously. Then used the t-test of two independent and dependent samples. The research sample was class XI at one of the public high schools in the city of Bandung, consisting of 2 classes. The results showed that the achievement and improvement of mathematical literacy and numeracy abilities jointly owned by students in the two learning groups showed a significant difference. The conclusions obtained in this study were: (1)there were differences in achievement and improvement in mathematical literacy and numeracy abilities simultaneously between students who received the PBL learning model using TPACK and a scientific approach; (2)there was no difference in increasing mathematical literacy abilities between students who get the PBL learning model using TPACK and scientific; (3)there was a difference in increasing mathematical numeracy abilities between students who get the PBL learning model using TPACK and scientific
Alternatif Pembuktian Hasil Kali Gradien Dua Garis Tegak Lurus Dalam Konteks Matematika Sekolah
Get PDFPenelitian ini menyajikan ragam pembuktian konsep gradien garis, khususnya hasil kali gradien dua garis yang saling tegak lurus. Dalam matematika sekolah, konsep gradien cukup sering dijumpai. Namun, konsep tersebut jarang dilengkapi dengan penjelasan pembuktian yang akurat, sehingga dikhawatirkan menutup kesempatan siswa untuk berpikir kreatif dan berdampak buruk bagi budaya belajar matematika. Metode penelitian kualitatif digunakan melalui kajian kepustakaan yang bersumber dari video-video Youtube (Math&music, Indrajana, dan MaThCliX®), paparan pembuktian dalam situs diskusi ilmiah Quora (Sagar), serta pembuktian yang disusun oleh peneliti. Dengan mengompilasikan sumber-sumber yang ada, peneliti berupaya untuk menyajikan bukti matematis konsep hasil kali gradien dua garis yang saling tegak lurus. Materi yang dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini meliputi: (1) rotasi sederhana suatu garis, (2) konsep perbandingan dan kesebangunan, (3) teorema Pythagoras, (4) konsep tangen/tan dalam Trigonometri, serta (5) konsep perkalian dot dua vektor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep perkalian gradien dua garis tegak lurus dapat dibuktikan melalui beragam materi matematika sekolah, sehingga layak dijadikan referensi bagi guru ketika ingin menjelaskan konsep ini dengan baik dan benar serta memiliki dasar pembuktian yang kuat. Penelitian ini dapat berkembang lebih lanjut dengan melengkapi bukti hasil kali gradien dua garis tegak lurus menggunakan konsep lain yang relevan dalam materi matematika sekolah
Investigating English teachers' understanding of English language assessment
Get PDFA teacher is responsible for assessing students' work and should possess a clear understanding of assessment, testing, examination, and evaluation. However, in reality, there are instances where teachers encounter confusion when distinguishing between these terms, mistakenly perceiving them as synonymous. Moreover, the teachers' understanding of these terms also plays a critical role in facilitating meaningful learning experiences for students. Based on the reasons above, this research aimed to describe the English teachers’ understanding of English language assessment and how the teachers assess the students’ work. The research conducted on UPT SMA Negeri 1 Parepare. There were five English teachers as research subjects. The research method used was qualitative design. The data collected through interview. Analysis data with data collection, data reduction, data display, and the last is data conclusion and verification. The result of the research showed that the teachers’ understanding has difference and similarity as from five teachers. The difference was from four teachers, only one teacher that related to Assessment understanding and the similarity was four other teachers beside Assessment understanding which is the most dominant, their teachers’ understanding was also related to Instructional understanding, Subject matter understanding and Pedagogical understanding. The teachers’ assessment of the students prioritize learning by using a range of assessment methods such as daily tests, semester exams, and attitude assessments. Group activities and projects are also utilized to enhance confidence and encourage active learning
Exploring Instructional Technology Trend in during Covid-19 Pandemic: A Systematic Scoping Review
No full textThis scoping review explores the trend of technology use in the teaching and learning of English during Covid-19 pandemic. The materials included in the systematic scoping review were Scopus-indexed research-based articles published in 2021 and 2022 exploring and/or examining technology utilized for the teaching and learning of English during Covid-19 pandemic. The criteria of inclusion applied were (1) Scopus-indexed articles; (2) Research-based publication; (3) published in 2021 and 2022; (4) free- and/or open-access artecle; and (5) focus on the utilization of technology in TEFL during Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, this scoping review also reveals the methodological trend applied by publications in the mentioned years of publication. The result shows that the most popularly utilized technology in TEFL during Covid-19 pandemic are respectively video-conferencing application, website and learning management system (LMS), instant messaging application, social media, and video-sharing platform. In terms of the focus of studies, affective aspect and cognitive aspect become the mostly researched topics. Furthermore, studies on the utilization of technology in TEFL during Covid-19 pandemic are dominated by respectively quantitative studies, qualitative studies, and mixed method. Worldwide practice of teaching English through technology during Covid-19 pandemic is expected to inspire educational practitioners, further researchers, and instructional learning designers and developers about the potential of technologies to be adopted, adapted, and developed for teaching and learning purposes in post-Covid-19 pandemic
Kontribusi Instructional Audio-Visual (IAV) dalam Pembelajaran
Get PDFPemanfaatan instructional audio-visual (IAV) dalam pembelajaran sejalan dengan pemenuhan gaya belajar dan karakteristik generasi Z. Namun sejauh ini belum diketahui bagaimana kontribusi IAV dalam pembelajaran dan bagaimana kesiapan beberapa pihak terkait seperti pengajar dan lembaga dalam mendukung ketersediaan IAV tersebut. Oleh karena itu, tinjauan literatur ini berfokus pada pemanfaatan IAV dalam pembelajaran online maupun offline. Artikel terkait IAV diidentifikasi antara tahun 2014-2023, yang diperoleh dari database eric, scopus dan google schoolar. Berdasarkan kriteria yang ditentukan didapatkan artikel yang selanjutnya dilakukan review secara mendalam. Berdasarkan hasil analisis terhadap artikel terpilih ditemukan bahwa penggunaan IAV meningkat sejak munculnya pandemi covid-19 dan tidak mengalami penurunan meskipun covid-19 telah usai. IAV memiliki peran penting dalam kelas konvensional, dan merupakan sistem penyampaian informasi utama di kelas online serta berfungsi sebagai landasan bagi banyak kelas campuran (blended learning). Penentuan format IAV menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pebelajar dan berbagai analisis kebutuhan lainnya, misalkan biaya dan ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana. Kehadiran IAV sangat diharapkan oleh pebelajar, namun untuk menghadirkan IAV terdapat beberapa tantangan yang harus difasilitasi oleh lembaga. Tantangan tersebut antara lain tidak terbiasanya pengajar dalam mengembangan IAV sehingga lembaga perlu memberikan fasilitas untuk kemudahan dalam mengembangan IAV dengan kualitas yang bagus dan dapat diterima oleh pebelajar
Evaluasi Tata Letak Bangunan terhadap Garis Sempadan Jalan di Kecamatan Tomoni, Kabupaten Luwu Timur
Get PDFThe Mangkutana, Tomoni, and Tomoni Timur Urban Areas, later shortened to “Matoto”, are urban areas in East Luwu Regency. The center of economic activity in this region is located in Tomoni District, which later experienced regional development. The development of the region has led to substantial building growth that does not comply with the Regional Regulation (Perda) of East Luwu Regency Number 5 of 2012, as amended by Regional Regulation Number 8 of 2018, concerning Border Lines. Therefore, we are interested in evaluating the layout of buildings in the sub-district that violate and do not conform to existing regional regulations. Next, we specify the research area on the Trans Sulawesi Road Section. This study aims to assess the extent of non-conformity of building lot areas with regional regulations. The analysis employed is overlay analysis with union commands. The results of the analysis indicate that the area of building lots that encroached into the Rumaja area was 46.76%, Rumija covering an area of 16.70%, and Ruwasja at 36.54%.Kawasan Perkotaan Mangkutana, Tomoni, dan Tomoni Timur yang kemudian disingkat menjadi “Matoto” merupakan kawasan perkotaan yang ada di Kabupaten Luwu Timur. Pusat kegiatan ekonomi di kawasan ini terletak di Kecamatan Tomoni yang kemudian mengalami perkembangan wilayah. Perkembangan wilayah menimbulkan banyaknya pertumbuhan bangunan yang tidak sesuai dengan Peraturan Daerah (Perda) Kabupaten Luwu Timur Nomor 5 Tahun 2012 sebagaimana telah diubah dengan Perda Nomor 8 Tahun 2018 tentang Garis Sempadan, maka dari itu penulis tertarik untuk melakukan evaluasi tata letak bangunan di kecamatan tersebut yang melanggar dan tidak sesuai dengan peraturan daerah yang ada. Kemudian penulis memspesifikkan daerah penelitian pada Ruas Jalan Trans Sulawesi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat besaran ketidaksesuaian luasan kaveling bangunan terhadap peraturan daerah. Adapun analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis overlay dengan perintah union. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa luas wilayah kaveling bangunan yang masuk ke dalam daerah Rumaja seluas 46,76%; Rumija seluas 16,70%; dan Ruwasja sejumlah 36,54%
PENGARUH MEDIA FLASHCARD TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERHITUNG SEDERHANA DAN PERKEMBANGAN KOGNITIF ANAK
Get PDFTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah menggunakan media flashcard dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berhitung sederhana dan perkembangan kognitif pada kelompok A dan B di TKIT Nusantara Banten. Variabel X (media flashcard) memiliki 9 indikator, Y1 (keterampilan berhitung sederhana) memiliki 6 indikator. Variabel Y2 (perkembangan kognitif) terdapat 22 indikator. Desain penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif kausal. Metode penentuan luas wilayah dengan cara purposive sampling. Teknik studi demografi melibatkan 31 anak kelompok A dan B. Teknik pengumpulan data: 1). observasi, 2). wawancara, 3). dokumen. Hasil wawancara kemudian ditransformasikan ke dalam beberapa uji instrumental yaitu uji validitas dan reliabilitas, kemudian dilakukan uji hipotesis klasik yang meliputi uji normalitas, uji validitas, dan uji reliabilitas, uji homogenitas, uji autokorelasi dan uji korelasi, uji heterogenitas, dan terakhir pengujian hipotesis meliputi uji t dan uji F. Hasil uji t X dibandingkan sig Y1<0,05 (0,000). Terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media flashcard terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak kelompok A dan B di TKIT Nusantara Banten.
