Implementasi Computational Thinking dalam Mata Pelajaran PPKn SD dengan Menggunakan Media Puzzle
This research aims to determine students' skills related to computational thinking skills, especially on the foundations of pattern recognition and abstraction in PPKn Pancasila subject material at SD Negeri Kwarasan. This study used qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation and documentation. The data analysis used in this research is quantitative analysis. The subjects of this research were 18 class II students at SD Negeri Kwarasan. The results of the research show that students' skills in computational thinking are based on the foundations of pattern recognition and abstraction, indicating that there are still many students who have not yet completed computational thinking-based activities. This can be seen from the percentage achieved by no more than 80% of the activities carried out. In the activity of assembling the Garuda Pancasila puzzle, the percentage obtained by students was only 60%, while in the activity of telling pictures of the application of the Pancasila principles it was only 73%. However, class II students at SD Negeri Kwarasan like activities that integrate computational thinking skills, namely the activity of putting together puzzles
Mathematical concepts and cultural values in guest reception traditions: an ethnomathematic study of the Dawan Tribe Community on The Timor Island
The aim of this study is to explore mathematical concepts and cultural values in the reception traditions of the Dawan tribe (Atoni Meto). The research method used is qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. The research subjects were three informants and the research objects were music, dance and handicrafts. The instruments used in this research were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that (1) there are mathematical concepts in the arts of music, dance and handicrafts in the reception traditions of the Atoni Meto tribe, including; flat shapes (Square, Circle, Rectangle, Rhombus, Triangle), spatial shapes (Cone, Cylinder and Cuboid), the Concept of Lines and Sets, and (2) Cultural values contained in hitting the gong (Leku Sene) namely as a guide and a sign of joy, dancing (Sbo'ot) symbolizes joy, traditional speech (Natoni) as a form of respect and continuity of bond, repetition as a sign of brotherly bonds, eating betel-nut (M'pua) as unity and a sign of conveying goals and eating together as unity
Effective strategies for formulating and articulating a well-defined research problem: context in the field of mathematics education
This research offers an answer to the question: How to pose and write a research problem in Mathematics Education? To do so, a qualitative descriptive methodology was implemented, developed in four stages: first, it presents a general overview of the Theories in Mathematics Education and some articles where relevant studies have been reported; in the second stage, the means by which research can be disseminated or published are presented; in the third, meanings and ways to pose a research problem are shown and, finally, in the fourth stage, some theoretical reflections on the problem statement are presented. The results show that the writing and statement of the problem does not necessarily follow a structure, that depends on the type of research and the way in which the author reports his ideas or in which theoretical framework he frames his work, for example, research questions from the Onto-semiotic Approach and the Extended Theory of Connections are presented. However, a special path is suggested that has worked very well to be implemented in future research. In conclusion, for research to be successful, the problem and the issue must be well constructed and supported by the literature, which guides and invites reflection on the choice of theory (if possible), the methodology and the presentation of the results that can be theoretical and practical
Penerapan Metode Pembelajaran Demonstrasi Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Pemeriksaan kardiovaskular Siswa Kelas XI Jurusan Keperawatan
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi kardiovaskular melalui penerapan metode pembelajaran demonstrasi pada siswa kelas XI Keperawatan SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Turi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah delapan siswa kelas XI Keperawatan SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Turi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan tes, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran demonstrasi berkontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Presentase ketercapaian skor proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada siklus I adalah 25% dan meningkat menjadi 75% pada siklus II. Indikator keberhasilan ditentukan berdasarkan pencapaian minimal 75% siswa dengan nilai ≥80 serta pemenuhan lima aspek sikap dalam observasi. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode pembelajaran demonstrasi dalam pembelajaran materi kardiovaskular, khususnya pemeriksaan fisik kardiovaskular, terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI Keperawatan SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Turi
Analysis of Opportunities and Challenges of Sustainable Financing for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises
Purpose - Sustainable financing has become a key focus in financing an inclusive and sustainable economy. MSMEs have a role to play in the global economy to cultivate the sustainability of MSMEs in Indonesia. However, MSMEs often face challenges in accessing financing necessary for their growth and sustainability. This paper discusses the literature related to sustainable financing for MSMEs. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the opportunities and challenges of sustainable financing for MSMEs.
Design/methodology/approach - Using the literature review method, this paper also explores the basic concepts of sustainable financing as well as the principles related to the analysis of opportunities and challenges of sustainable financing for MSMEs. In addition, this paper also explores a number of challenges faced by MSMEs in implementing sustainable financing, such as limited access to financing sources and risks associated with MSME financing in Indonesia.
Findings - Through an in-depth review of available literature and data, this research provides a better knowledge of the facts that need to be considered to increase MSMEs' awareness of sustainable financing. The conclusion of this literature review is that the Analysis of Opportunities and Challenges of Sustainable Financing for MSMEs has great potential to support economic growth and sustainability of MSMEs, for this reason MSMEs need to have an awareness of capturing innovation opportunities, be creative in marketing products that will be cultivated in a competitive society by seeking information on sustainable financing for MSMEs and preparing themselves for the challenges of implementing sustainable financing
Penerapan Model Inkuiri Terbimbing Berbantuan Virtual Lab dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa SMK pada Materi Usaha dan Energi
The study of natural phenomena, along with their accompanying properties and interactions that occur within them is known as Physical Science. The aim of physics is to help students discover concepts about nature that can be used to develop themselves through critical thinking skills and principled thinking. Physics learning places more emphasis on providing direct experience to students. So that learning goals and outcomes are achieved in accordance with what students want, direct student participation needs to be considered in selecting the learning model. One of them is the Guided Inquiry model.
By using the Guided Inquiry model and assisted by the Virtual Laboratory application, this research aims to determine student learning outcomes. A total of 35 class Test results, learning materials such as lesson plans, worksheets, and assessment forms were all used as research tools in this study. The SSPS version 22 application is then used to analyze information obtained from students' cognitive learning results. The research results show that the learning outcomes of class DKV X students on business and energy can be improved by implementing the guided research learning model
The Influence of Work-Life Balance, Job Stress, Job Satisfaction, and Burnout on Job Performance
Purpose – This study aims to investigate the effect of work-life balance and job stress on job performance, with job satisfaction and burnout as mediating variables. The research focuses on employees of the Directorate General of Taxes in Indonesia, seeking to understand how internal psychological factors influence public-sector employee performance.
Methodology – A quantitative approach was used, with data collected through a structured questionnaire distributed to 748 employees from various regional offices. The data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to evaluate both direct and indirect relationships among the variables.
Findings – The results show that work-life balance significantly improves job satisfaction and reduces burnout, while job stress increases burnout and decreases job satisfaction. Job satisfaction fully mediates the relationship between work-life balance and job performance, while burnout significantly mediates the relationship between job stress and job performance. These outcomes highlight the importance of employee well-being in enhancing organizational performance.
Originality – This study provides new insights into the mediating roles of job satisfaction and burnout in the public sector. It extends existing theoretical frameworks by offering a comprehensive model that reflects the realities of post-pandemic work environments, particularly in government institutions undergoing digital and structural transformation
Intellectual Capital, Innovation and Sustainable Growth in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the Fashion Sector
Purpose - This research examines how intellectual capital, innovation, and sustainable growth correlate in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) within the fashion industry. Moreover, it investigates how innovation's mediating role influences the relationship between intellectual capital and sustainable growth.
Methodology - This research employed a quantitative correlational approach. Data was gathered via online questionnaires distributed to 200 owners or managers of fashion sector MSMEs in Palembang City through a purposive sampling technique. The researchers analyzed data by employing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).
Findings - The analysis reveals that intellectual capital significantly and positively influences Inn, while Inn serves as a partial mediator linking intellectual capital to sustainable growth. The variance in Inn is explained by 79.1%, and the variance in sustainable growth is explained by 92.7% through the research model, highlighting the impact of effective intellectual capital management on fostering innovation and sustainable growth.
Originality - This research makes a new contribution by integrating intellectual capital, innovation, and sustainable growth in the context of fashion sector MSMEs in developing countries. The research confirms the importance of intellectual capital management as a catalyst for innovation and sustainable growth, especially in MSMEs in Palembang
Emancipated Curriculum Platform to Enhance English Learning Quality In Teacher Professional Education
The TPE (Teacher Professional Education), particularly in Piloting Batch 2, is centred around the Emancipated Curriculum Platform (ECP), specifically the certified teacher module. Unlike previous iterations, this TPE program eliminates Zoom meetings with facilitators. As part of the government's effort to enhance teacher professionalism, improve education quality, and address educational challenges, this study examines whether the ECP platform effectively develops professional and pedagogical competencies despite the absence of facilitator feedback. Thirty English teachers from TPE Piloting 2, each with over five years of teaching experience, participated in this survey-based quantitative study. Data were collected through a Google Forms questionnaire. The findings reveal that the ECP platform effectively supports teacher training by enhancing lesson delivery and enabling teachers to adapt lessons confidently. The results suggest that the platform contributes positively to the ongoing digitalization of educational resources, demonstrating its potential to improve teaching quality across various educational levels and contexts. These findings aim to refine the TPE process, offering better outcomes for participating teachers. Future research could further explore the platform's impact on student performance and expand its scope to include other subject areas within TPE, particularly for English teachers. This study underscores the platform's role in transforming teacher education through digital innovation
PEMBERDAYAAN PENGGUNAAN CANVA BAGI SISWA-SISWI SMKN 8 PEKANBARU
Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk menjawab permintaan dari mitra, yaitu SMKN 8 Pekanbaru. Kegiatan ini berlangsung pada 30 Mei 2024 di Laboratorium Komputer Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Lancang Kuning dan dihadiri oleh 7 siswa serta 1 orang guru pendamping. Tema pengabdian ini adalah workshop desain grafis untuk membuat flayer menggunakan Canva, dengan tujuan agar siswa-siswi dapat membuat flayer secara mandiri sebagai peningkatan keterampilan mereka. Tools yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah komputer dan jaringan internet untuk mengakses website www.canva.com. Narasumber dalam workshop ini adalah dosen Fakultas Ilmu Komputer, Roki Hardianto, M.Kom, yang juga bertindak sebagai ketua tim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat. Materi yang disampaikan mencakup pengetahuan dasar tentang desain grafis dan penggunaan Canva, serta praktek membuat flayer dengan memanfaatkan fitur AI yang sudah terintegrasi pada Canva. Sebelum kegiatan dimulai, tim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat menyebarkan angket daring untuk mengukur tingkat pengetahuan siswa-siswi tentang desain grafis dan Canva. Setelah kegiatan selesai, peserta diminta mengisi angket untuk mengukur tingkat pemahaman mereka terhadap materi dan praktek yang telah diberikan. Kegiatan ini juga dipublikasikan di portal berita agar masyarakat luas dapat mengetahui dan mendapatkan informasi. Selain itu, hasil kegiatan ini dipublikasikan dalam bentuk artikel di jurnal nasional terakreditasi
