Flipped English Learning Readiness of Rural College EFL Students: A Survey Study
No full textLately, internalization of online learning into physical meeting during English learning has become a trend. This study aimed to describe perceptions of rural-college EFL students regarding flipped English learning readiness. A total of 217 EFL students participated in this survey study. The results showed that several EFL students prefer watching online videos than reading and summarizing reading materials. Online discussion appears to be more practical and efficient compared to physical mode. However, the EFL students expect more on college teacher support during online or physical meetings. In short, flipped learning readiness, for rural-college EFL students, enhances enthusiasm to study English. Moreover, different levels of readiness indicates that there should be continuous improvement towards supporting aspects, including policy, tools, curriculum, process, and teaching and learning strategies

No full textStrategy is essentially a careful plan for an activity to achieve a target or goal, strategy cannot be separated from the goal to be achieved without clear goals, strategy will create new problems, therefore strategy can be formulated after understanding the goal. This research aims to determine the DLHK Communication Strategy in overcoming pollution in Karawang Regency. The research method used by researchers is a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach with data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews and literature study. Meanwhile, the theory for analyzing the object of this research is the communication strategy theory put forward by Hafied Cangara consisting of research, planning, implementation, evaluation and reporting. The results of the research that has been carried out show that the communication strategy of the Karawang Regency Environment and Hygiene Service in dealing with pollution in the five dimensions of the communication strategy stage has succeeded in implementing an effective communication strategy by increasing awareness of the public and entrepreneurs to protect the surrounding environment so that air pollution does not occur

Meningkatnya perkembangan keuangan digital tidak serta merta diikuti dengan peningkatan literasi keuangan digital dan keterampilan keuangan digital. Berdasarkan pada hal tersebut, pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan keterampilan menerapkan teknologi digital dalam laporan keuangan dikalangan anggota BMT Dana Manfaat, Parongpong, Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, tanya jawab, dan forum diskusi kelompok. Setelah dilakukannya pelatihan, ditemukan bahwa anggota BMT Dana Manfaat memiliki pengetahuan jauh lebih banyak apabila dibandingkan dengan sebelum dilakukannya pelatihan dan sosialisasi terkait keuangan digital
Muhammadiyah's Quest for Knowledge: Strengthening Education Through Faith in Indonesia
No full textThis paper explores Muhammadiyah's commitment to education in Indonesia, focusing on how the organization strengthens educational practices through the integration of Islamic values. Despite global emphasis on inclusive education, there is limited understanding of how religiously affiliated schools, particularly in Islamic contexts, balance doctrinal teachings with the need for inclusivity. This study examines Muhammadiyah's approach to integrating faith with education, highlighting how its schools accommodate diverse student needs while maintaining a strong foundation in Islamic principles. Through qualitative research, including interviews with educators and administrators and analysis of school policies, the paper reveals the strategies Muhammadiyah schools employ to promote an inclusive environment. The findings demonstrate that, while challenges exist in aligning religious teachings with inclusive education, Muhammadiyah has made notable progress in providing access to quality education for all students, regardless of their backgrounds. This study offers valuable insights into how faith-based educational institutions can balance religious values with inclusivity, contributing to the broader discourse on education in religious contexts
Gamified Learning Implementation to Improve Grammar Skill
No full textThis study aims to investigate the effectiveness of gamified learning in improving students' grammar skills in the 58th English Master Plus class of Kampung Inggris Language Center Pare. This study used classroom action research, where the researcher acted as the teacher and implemented gamified learning for two cycles. The research participants consisted of 15 students. Data was collected through pre-test, assessment test, and observation. The results showed that gamified learning was effective in improving students' grammar skills; in the pre-cycle the researcher got the average score of the students was 58. In the first cycle, the researcher got data on the average score of students increased from 58 to 72.6 so there was an increase of 25%, and in the next cycle the researcher got data on the increase in the average score of students from 72.6 to 80 so there was an increase of 10% from the previous cycle. Therefore, it can be said that the implementation of gamified learning in learning grammar is very effective in addition to increasing students' grades and enthusiasm for learning grammar. It can make students more confident and increase their sense of participation in grammar learning
Peran BP2MD dalam Meningkatkan Budaya Membaca pada Masyarakat Desa Tonjong melalui Perpustakaan Desa
No full textKegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan oleh Universitas Terbuka bekerja sama dengan Desa Tonjong berfokus pada pembangunan perpustakaan desa berbasis digital sebagai sarana peningkatan literasi dan kemandirian desa. Melalui Balai Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Masyarakat Desa (BP2MD), dilakukan berbagai tahapan seperti penyediaan fasilitas fisik, koleksi buku yang variatif, pelatihan manajemen perpustakaan berbasis teknologi, dan penerapan sistem peminjaman digital. Pengadaan lebih dari 739 buku bertema pertanian, kesehatan, pendidikan, dan literatur umum, diikuti dengan pelatihan pengelolaan berbasis digital, bertujuan memberikan dampak praktis dan langsung bagi masyarakat. Transformasi perpustakaan desa menjadi fasilitas digital yang modern dan interaktif diharapkan tidak hanya mendukung literasi, tetapi juga membantu masyarakat menghadapi tantangan masa depan. Website Perpusdes Tonjong menjadi portal informasi yang memudahkan akses masyarakat terhadap layanan perpustakaan, sehingga perpustakaan desa ini dapat berfungsi sebagai pusat edukasi, literasi, dan informasi digital bagi masyarakat desa
The Effect of Using Kahoot Media on Chemistry Material on Student Interest and Learning Outcomes
No full textThe purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using kahoot media on chemistry material on interest and learning outcomes. This study used a quantitative quasi-experimental approach with a pretest and posttest control group design research design. The study population was class X IPA learners consisting of 5 classes totalling 154 people and the sample in the study of class X IPA totalling 30 people as an experimental class and 30 people as a control class. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and questions. The research shows that there are differences in learning outcomes before and after treatment. Before the t-test was carried out, the normality and homogeneity tests were first carried out and the data was found to be normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of hypothesis testing using the t-test with a significance value of 0.000 means that the sig value <0.05. So that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of Kahoot users as learning media on learning interest and learning outcomes of learners in chemistry material and there is a correlation between interest and learning outcomes in chemistry subjects

Namun kemampuan berpikir siswa dipengaruhi oleh banyak factor, baik internal maupun dari mata Pelajaran itu sendiri. Oleh karena itu, peneliti dapat merumuskan permasalahan yaitu bagaimana merancang aplikasi pembelajaran matematika berbasis mobile yang menarik dan mudah di pelajari. Tujuan peneliti mengambil judul ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan keterampilan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran yang memiliki kualifikasi valid, praktis, dan efektif yang dapat diterapkan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian pengembangan ini focus pada pengembangan produk. Produk yang dihasilkan berupa media pembelajaran matematika berupa aplikasi media pembelajaan matematika berbasis mobile pada lingkaran. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran ini adalah model pengembangan ADDIE. Analisis penelitian dan pengembangan ini melibatkan analisis potensi dan permasalahn potensial untuk merancang Solusi yang sesuai. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut digunakanlah pengembangan media Figma sebagai media pembelajaran untuk mengatasinya. Desain media pembelajaran berbasis mobile dengan materi lingkaran ini harus disesuaikan dengan silabus yang digunakan guru dalam mengajar. Proses pengembangan melibatkan penggunaan teori media dan storyboard, figma, dan aplikasi lain seperti pinterest untuk pembuatan background. Tujuannya adalah untuk memahami pembelajaran sebelum proses pembelajaran dan untuk menciptakan media yang dapat digunakan

The purpose of this research is to see the effect of the relationship between the existence of a state house on the efficiency implementation of tasks and work motivation at the Balige Class IIB State Detention Center North Sumatra. The method used in this research is quantitative quantitative research method. Data collection techniques are observation and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between the existence of a state house and the efficiency of task implementation. with the efficiency of task implementation is significant in the same direction with a moderate relationship, while the relationship with employee motivation is moderate. moderate relationship, while the relationship with employee work motivation is unidirectional with a strong relationship. In conclusion, the existence of a state house can significantly can significantly support the efficiency of task implementation and increase motivation of employees at the Balige Class IIB State Detention Center

Closing of Dolly Localization was on June 18th 2014 ago, left economic problems for impacted society around ex-localization who had been relied their life years by serving the parking area, small store, laundry, etc through many people who visited that place. After localization was closed, the society lost their income. Therefore, the author and team took an initiative to do community service by giving an entrepreneurship training for SME to impacted society in ex-localization. The materials of training were given, covered SME’s management, financial and accounting system for SME, product packaging, and digital marketing. The aim of this training is to improve society’s capability and competency running their business.

Abstrak
Penutupan Lokalisasi Dolly pada 18 Juni 2014 lalu, meninggalkan masalah ekonomi bagi masyarakat terdampak di sekitar eks-lokalisasi yang telah bertahun - tahun menggantungkan hidupnya dengan membuka usaha tempat parkir, warung, laundry, dll dengan memanfaatkan ramainya pengunjung di tempat tersebut. Setelah lokalisasi ditutup, masyarakat kehilangan sumber penghasilan. Oleh karena itu, penulis dan tim berinisiatif melakukan pengabdian masyarakat dengan memberikan pelatihan wirausaha UMKM kepada masyarakat terdampak di eks-lokalisasi Dolly. Materi pelatihan yang diberikan yaitu: manajemen UMKM, pencatatan keuangan dan akuntansi untuk UMKM, hingga pengemasan dan pemasaran produk secara digital. Tujuan pelatihan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam menjalankan UMKM mereka.
