Struktur Komunitas Fitoplankton dan Tingkat Pencemaran di Danau Dendam Tak Sudah, Kota Bengkulu
Dendam Tak Sudah Lake (DDTS) is an aquatic ecosystem and nature reserve located in Dusun Besar Village, Singgaran Pati District, Bengkulu City. Its presence serves not only as a tourist destination and irrigation water supply for rice fields but also as a habitat for phytoplankton. The land use changes around the DDTS Nature Reserve have impacted the water quality of the lake, and phytoplankton are among the biota affected by these pressures. This study aims to assess the phytoplankton community structure and the pollution level in DDTS. The research was conducted by identifying and counting each phytoplankton species found and analyzing water quality. The results of the study showed that the phytoplankton richness in DDTS consisted of 20 species, including 8 species from the Bacillariophyceae class, 6 species from the Chlorophyceae class, 2 species from the Cyanophyceae class, and 4 species from the Euglenophyceae class. The highest phytoplankton abundance was found at the inlet with 1,135.2 individuals/l, followed by the midlet with 1,095.6 individuals/l, and the outlet with 997.2 individuals/l. The diversity index values were high (2.6-2.8), the evenness index was high (0.95-0.96), and dominance was low (0.07-0.08). The saprobic coefficient in DDTS was classified as β-Meso/Oligosaprobic, indicating that the water quality is lightly polluted, with a saprobic index value ranging from 0.6 to 0.87.Danau Dendam Tak Sudah (DDTS) merupakan ekosistem perairan dan cagar alam yang terletak di Kelurahan Dusun Besar, Kecamatan Singgaran Pati, Kota Bengkulu. Keberadaannya selain sebagai tempat destinasi wisata dan suplai air irigasi persawahan, juga sebagai habitat bagi fitoplankton. Terdapatnya pergeseran alih fungsi lahan di sekitar Cagar Alam DDTS berpengaruh terhadap kualitas perairan danau tersebut dan fitoplankton merupakan salah satu biota yang terdampak dari tekanan itu. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengukur struktur komunitas fitoplankton dan tingkat pencemaran DDTS. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi dan menghitung setiap spesies fitoplankton yang ditemukan serta manganalisis kualitas air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kekayaan fitoplankton di DDTS berjumlah 20 spesies yang terdiri atas 8 spesies dari kelas Bacillariophyceae, 6 spesies dari kelas Chlorophyceae, 2 spesies dari kelas Cyanophyceae, dan 4 spesies dari kelas Euglenophyceae. Total kelimpahan fitoplankton tertinggi pada bagian inlet yaitu 1.135,2 individu/l, diikuti bagian midlet 1.095,6 individu/l, dan outlet 997,2 individu/l. Nilai indeks keanekaragaman tergolong tinggi (2,6-2,8), indeks kemerataan tinggi (0,95-0,96), dan dominansi rendah (0,07-0,08). koefisien saprobik di DDTS tergolong dalam β-Meso/Oligosaprobik berarti termasuk dalam kategori perairan tercemar ringan dengan nilai indeks saprobik 0,6 sampai 0,87
Uji Aktivitas Antimikroba dari Ekstrak Metanol Teripang Asal Perairan Lampung
Sea cucumbers possess various biological activities, including antihypertensive, antioxidant, anticoagulant, antimicrobial, hemolytic, cytotoxic, and immunomodulatory properties. These activities are attributed to the presence of primary and secondary metabolites in sea cucumbers, such as peptides, vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, saponins, steroids, carotenoids, collagen, gelatin, chondroitin sulfate, and amino acids. This study aims to evaluate the antimicrobial activity of methanol extracts from several sea cucumber species collected from Lampung waters. The agar disk diffusion method was used in the study. The results of methanol extracts from five sea cucumber species tested againts five microbial species showed varying outcomes. The highest yield of sea cucumber methanol extract was found in Bohadschia marmorata (3.88%), while the lowest was Metriatyla lessoni (2.68%). In the antibacterial potential test, no antibacterial activity was observed against the four tested bacteria. However, the fungus Candida albicans exhibited an inhibition zone. Four sea cucumber species demonstrated antifungal potential against C. albicans, with the following inhibition zone diameters: B. Marmorata (13.35 ± 2.76 mm), Holothuria lessoni (12.9 ± 0.71 mm), Stichopus quadrifasciatus (10.4 ± 0 mm), and Holothuria leucospilota (8.25 ± 0.07 mm).Teripang memiliki kemampuan dan aktivitas biologis seperti antihipertensi, antioksidan, antikoagulan, antimikroba, hemolitik, sitotoksik, dan imunomodulator. Kemampuan tersebut disebabkan oleh kandungan metabolit primer dan sekunder dalam teripang, seperti peptida, vitamin, mineral, asam lemak, saponin, steroid, karotenoid, kolagen, gelatin, kondroitin sulfat, dan asam amino. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi aktivitas antimikroba dari ekstrak metanol pada beberapa spesies teripang yang diambil dari perairan Lampung. Penelitian menggunakan metode difusi agar (agar disk-diffusion method). Hasil penelitian ekstrak metanol dari lima spesies teripang yang diujikan kepada lima spesies mikroba menunjukkan hasil yang bervariasi. Rendemen ekstrak metanol teripang tertinggi terdapat pada Bohadschia marmorata (3,88%) sedangkan terendah pada Metriatyla lessoni dengan nilai sebesar 2,68%. Pada uji potensi antibakteri tidak ditemukan adanya aktivitas antibakteri terhadap empat bakteri yang diujikan, tetapi terhadap jamur Candida albicans memperlihatkan adanya zona hambat. Empat spesies teripang memiliki potensi sebagai antimikroba jamur C. albicans yaitu B. marmorata diameter zona hambat 13,35 ± 2,76 mm, Holothuria lessoni 12,9 ± 0,71 mm, Stichopus quadrifasciatus 10,4 ± 0 mm, dan Holothuria leucospilota 8,25 ± 0,07 mm
Enhancing Students' Speaking Skills Through Mind Mapping Technique
Speaking is one of the important language skills should be mastered by students in learning English as a foreign langugage. Someone is considered proficient in foreign language because of speaking fluency. Speaking also plays a crucial role since it is the key to communicate well in the global world. This research aims to measure the use of mind mapping technique in teaching speaking Recount text. The research involved 35 students of the first year students of English Education Study Program, Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, Suryakancana University who took Speaking for general communication course. The method of this research was Classroom Action Research. The instrument consisted of mind mapping practice, speaking test, observation sheet, and interview. The data of this research was analyzed by using two data analysis methods namely quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Quantitative data analysis was used to examining and interpreting data from Mind Mapping practice and speaking test. Meanwhile, Qualitative data analysis was taken from observation and interview. The result of this action research shows the improvement of students’speaking skills, it can be seen from the number of students who passed the minimum passing score (KKM) in the midterm test was 22.87% increased to 37.14% in the first cycle, and 77.14% in the second cycle. And it was also found that the changes of students’ speaking skills are influenced by five factors, namely, interesting teaching media, attractive classroom activities, enjoyable classroom management, attractive teaching approach, appropriate strategy or technique
Analisa Efektivitas dan Efisiensi Penggunaan Aplikasi SAP Pada Perusahaan Jasa Konstruksi PT. PPDC
Pembangunan infrastruktur di Indonesia mengalami kenaikan yang signifikan dalam sepuluh tahun terakhir. Pemerataan pembangunan dan konektivitas antar wilayah menjadi prioritas pemerintah saat ini. Dalam mendukung pembangunan infrastruktur, BUMN berfungsi sebagai kontraktor bagi pemerintah salah satunya PT. PPDC yang bergerak dibidang jasa konstruksi. Dalam menjalankan bisnisnya, PT. PPDC memanfaatkan teknologi digital dengan menggunakan sistem SAP sebagai sistem operasional perusahaan. Namun belum adanya penelitian terkait efektivitas dan efisiensi penggunaan sistem tersebut pada perusahaan ini. Dengan metode pendekatan kuantitatif dan bantuan skala likert peneliti melakukan analisa tingkat efektivitas dan efisiensi penggunaan sistem SAP bagi karyawan dan sejauh mana peran sistem ini dalam mendukung proses bisnis dibidang jasa konstruksi sesuai harapan Perusahaan. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa tingkat efektivitas dan efisiensi penggunaan sistem SAP pada Perusahaan jasa konstruksi PT. PPDC secara keseluruhan mencapai 63,88%. Perkembangan bisnis akan seiring dengan pengembangan sistem yang digunakan, disarankan untuk penelitian selanjutnya dapat mengumpulkan lebih banyak sample dari seluruh departement agar dapat mengetahui tingkat efektivitas dan efisiensi penggunaan SAP serta kaitannya dengan produktivitas karyawan secara keseluruhan
Integrating technology and non-routine problems: the design, development, and validation of a computer-aided assessment for non-routine problem-solving
The increasing demand for higher-order thinking skills in 21st-century education underscores the need for innovative resources, as traditional materials often focus on routine problems with limited opportunities for non-routine problem-solving. This study designed, developed, and validated a computer-aided assessment for non-routine problem-solving using the Design and Development Research method, conducted in three phases: needs analysis, design and development, and evaluation. Data collection included a literature review, systematic design and development, expert validation, and user feedback, analyzed through descriptive statistics and thematic analysis. Findings show that the computer-aided assessment supports non-routine problem-solving and addresses limitations of traditional assessments. The needs analysis identified gaps in current methodologies and the benefits of technology-enhanced assessments. The design and development phase produced an assessment promoting cognitive engagement, while the evaluation phase gathered expert validation and user feedback. Five experts in information technology and mathematics education provided positive evaluations of the assessment’s functionality, accessibility, and cognitive support. Feedback from 15 students across three educational institutions indicated enhanced engagement, independent learning, and deeper mathematical understanding. Although minor technical issues were noted, they did not significantly impact the computer-aided assessment’s quality. The validated computer-aided assessment shows potential as a digital tool for fostering non-routine problem-solving and interactive learning. It suggests that computer-aided assessments with non-routine problems may enhance higher-order thinking skills by promoting cognitive engagement and personalized learning. Future research could explore its long-term impact, adaptability across disciplines, and potential for adaptive learning and collaborative features to maximize educational effectiveness
Peningkatan Minat Belajar Siswa Kelas V SDN Lalukoen Pada Mata Pelajaran IPA Meteri Siklus Air dengan Menggunakan Metode Diskusi
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) pada materi siklus air di kelas V SD Negeri Lalukoen, yang belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA melalui penerapan metode diskusi pada peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri Lalukoen, Kabupaten Rote Ndao, Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, di mana setiap siklus terdiri dari satu pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum tindakan (prasiklus), ketuntasan klasikal hanya mencapai 12% dengan nilai rata-rata 55. Setelah tindakan pada siklus I, terjadi peningkatan dengan ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 74% dan nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 77. Penelitian berakhir pada siklus II dengan ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 100% dan nilai rata-rata 97. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran diskusi efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA pada materi siklus air di kelas V SD Negeri Lalukoen
The Role Of Accounting in Households as Financial Management Family in Rawa Semut Village
Purpose – In their daily lives, households will face increasingly complex demands of life, so effective and efficient financial management is needed to achieve economic balance and financial well-being. Accounting provides concepts, principles, and financial recording techniques that are very useful to help families in financial management, planning, and decision- making. The application of accounting in households allows for neat recording, budgeting, and analysis of spending patterns to make wise and organized financial decisions. The purpose of this study is to explain the importance of the role of accounting in households as a tool for managing, recording, making decisions and preparing short-term and long-term plans. In addition, in this study the researcher provides education on the importance of implementing accounting and financial management in households.
Design/methodology/approach – This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with survey and case study methods to examine the role of accounting as family financial management.
Findings – The results of this study indicate that accounting plays an important role in household life as family financial management. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that by implementing accounting in households, economic balance and financial well-being can be achieved
Inovasi Pembelajaran Fisika: Metode Eksperimen dengan Aplikasi OLABS dan Pengaruhnya terhadap Motivasi Belajar
This study aims to address the issue of student motivation in learning physics using the OLABS application, specifically the "Pendulum Lab" simulation. The preparation steps include exploring the OLABS simulation, developing the Lesson Plan (RPP), and creating Student Worksheets (LKS). The research subjects were 35 students of class X.2 at UPTD SMAN 1 Kalukku. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive quantitative methods. The results showed that the application of the experimental method assisted by the OLABS application significantly increased student motivation, with the average motivation score rising from 54.02 (low category) to 73.32 (high category). These findings indicate that the use of the experimental method through the OLABS application is effective in increasing the motivation to learn among students of class X.2 at UPTD SMAN 1 Kalukku
Praktikalitas Komik Digital Berbasis Problem Based Learning pada Materi Getaran, Gelombang dan Cahaya
The purpose of this study was to determine the level of practically of digital comic based on problem-based learning on vibration, wave, and light materials. The research conducted was R&D research using the 4D model is simplified into three stages: define, design and develop. This research was conducted at SMPN 28 Padang. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire distributed to teachers and students totaling 31 students and 3 science teachers. The data from the completed practicality questionnaire were studied statistically by calculating the total score of all indicators, then calculating the percentage using the formula. The result of the practicality test showed that teachers got an average score of 90.25%, while students got an avarage score of 82.5%, both of which were in the very practical category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that digital comic media based on problem-based learning on vibration, wave, and light materials is very practical to apply in learning
Penerapan Algoritma Welch-Powell terhadap Penjadwalan Mata Kuliah Jurusan Tadris Matematika UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan teori graf pada konsep algoritma welch powel untuk penyusunan jadwal mata kuliah. Penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan mengoptimalkan penjadwalan mata kuliah jurusan tadris matematika UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan terapan dan teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu dengan merepresentasikan jadwal perkuliahan tadris matematika UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon ke dalam sebuah pemodelan matematika dengan menggunakan bidang matematika diskrit teori graf. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapah dihasilkan bahwa penerapan algoritma ini berhasil mengoptimalkan penjadwalan mata kuliah berdasarkan mata kuliah jurusan tadris matematika dan hari yang tidak bentrok dengan ketersediaan ruangan kela
