Inovasi dalam Kemasan Ikan Asap: Meningkatkan Kualitas dan Daya Saing di Pasar Global
No full textThe establishment of a children's shoe artisan group aims to empower local communities and promote sustainable economic development. This study was conducted to evaluate the impact of skill training and business management on the capabilities of the artisan group. The methodology employed comprised six stages: exploration, group formation, skill training, mentoring, marketing, and evaluation. The results indicate a significant improvement in production and marketing skills among group members. Before the training, only 30% of participants possessed basic knowledge of production techniques, whereas after the training, this figure increased to 85%. Furthermore, the ability to utilize social media for marketing also rose from 20% to 75%. This training program has proven effective in creating high-quality products with aesthetic appeal while integrating local values and cultural wisdom. The synergy among group members and collaboration in product development enhance their competitiveness in the market. Thus, the formation of the children's shoe artisan group contributes to the improvement of the local economy, job creation, and the strengthening of regional cultural identity. Recommendations for the sustainability of the program include strengthening collaboration networks and ongoing innovation in product development. This research is expected to serve as a model for other communities to empower local economies and enhance community welfar

No full textThis community service activity was conducted to assist BUMDes Makmur Anugerah Lestari, Ciomas, Bogor in product diversification. BUMDes Makmur Anugerah Lestari operates several business units, including Reverse Osmosis (RO) refillable water and village PAM (Public Water Supply) systems. Recognizing the availability of several exploitable water sources and the significant community demand for drinking water, a product diversification initiative was undertaken. The objective of this program was to diversify into packaged drinking water products. The methodology employed in this community service (PkM) program involved training and water potability testing. The training focused on labelling and packaging. The results of the water potability tests indicated that the microbiological parameters for E. coli were 0 and the total coliform bacteria were 0, signifying good water quality suitable for consumption. Two packaging sizes were developed for bottling. This activity significantly impacted the diversification of drinking water products through the conducted potability tests, confirming that the water sourced for the packaged drinking water products is of good quality and safe for consumption. The PkM team diversified into 600 ML and 300 ML bottled drinking water. Based on the training outcomes, Mitra (partner) is now capable of creating appealing labels and packaging for bottled water products. Through this PkM activity, the community is empowered to be more creative and independent, contributing to the advancement of the village.
 
Upaya Meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar Siswa pada Materi Pencemaran Udara Kelas X SMK Menggunakan Laboratorium Virtual
No full textHasil belajar siswa pada materi pencemaran udara di SMK Mambaul Ulum Pandaan menunjukkan tingkat pemahaman yang rendah, disebabkan oleh terbatasnya sarana dan prasarana laboratorium fisik untuk praktik. Sebagai solusi, penelitian ini menggunakan laboratorium virtual OLabs untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus pada siswa kelas X SMK Mambaul Ulum Pandaan dengan 12 subjek penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui posttest setelah setiap siklus pembelajaran. Hasil dari siklus pertama menunjukkan bahwa hanya 41,6% siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan hasil belajar, sedangkan pada siklus kedua, setelah dilakukan perbaikan pembelajaran, persentase siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan meningkat menjadi 83,3%. Keberhasilan pembelajaran ini ditentukan oleh pencapaian lebih dari 75% siswa yang memperoleh nilai ≥ 80. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penggunaan laboratorium virtual OLabs terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pencemaran udara. Dengan demikian, meskipun prasarana laboratorium fisik terbatas, teknologi berbasis simulasi seperti OLabs dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.

The Implementation of E-Learning in Higher Education
No full textThe integration of e-learning in higher education is examined in this study along with its possible benefits and drawbacks. Higher education institutions all throughout the world have been using electronic technologies to access educational courses outside of traditional classroom settings, a practice known as e-learning. The paper emphasizes a number of the main advantages of e-learning, such improved accessibility, schedule flexibility, and the ability to meet different learning styles. Moreover, it looks into how e-learning supports ongoing education and provides opportunities for professional growth. The paper does, however, also address the challenges associated with e-learning implementation, such as the need for significant technological infrastructure, the digital divide affecting students' access to necessary resources, and the need for faculty training to effectively conduct online courses. Emphasizing the need of institutional support, strong learning management systems, and continuing assessment of e-learning programs is essential to achieving successful integration and continuous efficacy
The Comparison of Techniques and Methods used in Translating Die with A Smile Song between Google Translate and YouTube Closed Caption
No full textThis study discusses the comparison of the techniques and methods used in translating the song Die With A Smile between Google Translate and YouTube Closed Captions. In addition, the problem focused on examining the acceptability of the translation results. Hence, the theories of translation methods and techniques as an analytical framework were used to evaluate the quality of translations from both platforms, while a qualitative method was implemented. The results show that YouTube Closed Captions produces better translations than Google Translate. This is due to the application of more contextual translation techniques and methods that tend to approach communicative translation. In contrast, Google Translate tends to use a literal approach that ignores the nuances of the target language, resulting in low acceptability and clarity of the message. These findings highlight the importance of using appropriate methods and techniques to produce more effective and natural translations, especially in the context of song translation

No full textTulisan ini berusaha untuk mengungkapkan penggunaan obyek kartografi sebagai salah satu sumber dokumen bagi rekonstruksi peristiwa masa lalu. Tujuan dari rekonstruksi ini adalah mengambil informasi yang dimuat di dalam peta sebagai bagian dari khasanah kartografi dan diletakkan dalam konteks peristiwa sejarah. Titik tolak dari permasalahan penelitian ini adalah apa kontribusi yang bisa diberikan olehnya bagi proses rekonstruksi sejarah. Jawaban dari persoalan tersebut bukan hanya berguna untuk menyajikan kembali peristiwa sejarah yang telah terjadi pada masa lalu, namun juga memanfaatkannya sebagai suatu bentuk proses pembuktian. Hal ini berkaitan dengan obyek penelitian yang menampilkan informasi sebagai suatu bentuk realita historis. Realita historis akan mengungkapkan fakta hukum sebagai hasil pembuktian yang menjelaskan obyek perkara seperti yang dimuat dalam peta. Oleh karena itu selain menggunakan metode sejarah untuk merekonstruksi hasil kritik dan interpretasi atas obyek dokumen, metodologi yang digunakan adalah legal history. Metodologi ini memadukan antara metodologi structural dari ilmu sejarah yang merekonstruksi adanya perkembangan dalam struktur pada masa lalu dan menelusurinya hingga masa kini, dan metodologi normative dari ilmu hukum yang menekankan pada perkembangan progresif menurut norma-norma atau aturan struktur yang membingkainya. Tantangan utama para penggiat usaha dalam menggunakan Shopee Iive adalah bagaimana cara menarik minat konsumen di tengah persaingan yang sangat ketat dan memastikan pesan yang disampaikan dapat tersampaikan secara efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi komunikasi pemasaran yang telah digunakan DnW_Gift melalui shopee Iive dalam menarik minat konsumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa DnW_Gift menerapkan analisis STP (Segmentasi, Targeting, Positioning) sebagai dasar dalam penyusunan strategi komunikasi pemasarannya. Selain itu, penerapan bauran promosi serta pendekatan AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) terbukti efektif dalam menarik minat konsumen selama sesi siaran langsung. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa strategi komunikasi yang terencana mampu meningkatkan daya tarik konsumen. Evaluasi berkala terhadap efektivitas strategi yang digunakan sangat disarankan untuk memastikan relevansi dan adaptabilitas dalam menghadapi dinamika pasar yang terus berkembang
Students’ Perception and Expectation of Characteristics A Professional English Lecturer
No full textThe research aims to understand students' perceptions and expectations of a professional English lecturer at ITB AAS Indonesia. The study is descriptive qualitative, focusing on the lecturer's planning, implementation, appearance, communication, use of mixed languages, teaching styles, mastery of material, student participation, class management, technology use, online teaching, use of institutional e-learning platforms, sharing of learning recordings, and distribution of lecture material files. The student's perspective on the lecturer's planning includes giving assignments weekly or mid-semester, considering types of UTS and UAS exam questions, the number of questions, completion time, learning evaluation techniques, and providing opportunities for students to make improvements to unsatisfactory grades. The lecturer should explain the lesson plan, contract, and module used during English learning. The results suggest that the lecturer should have an attractive appearance, start lectures on time, communicate clearly in English, use mixed languages, and have effective teaching styles to improve student learning. They should also provide opportunities for students to ask questions, answer questions, and participate actively in the lecture process
Does Economic Growth Lead to Government Expenditure in Indonesia?
No full textEconomic growth effect on government expenditure has been debated theoretically and empirically. This study aims to identify the unidirectional relationship from GDP and government revenue to government expenditure in the short and long-run in Indonesia. Data sample used is a time series from 1976 to 2023, analyzed using ARDL model. The novelties lie in the time period, data variables, and analytical methods. This study found that GDP has no effect in the short-run, but GDP has a significant positive effect on government expenditure in the long-run, indicating that wagner's law has occurred in Indonesia during the observation period. Government revenue has a significant effect on government expenditure in the short and long-run, although the magnitude effect is lower in the long-run. Therefore, government expenditure is mainly determined by government revenue in the short-run and GDP in the long-run. No full textThis research is based on the fundamental problem of an organization, namely the Sharia cooperative in the Limbangan area of Garut Regency, where the incidents that occur in the field by considering the dynamics of the organization according to the initial hypothesis there are problems regarding polarization and optimization of human resource empowerment capabilities, especially in terms of motivation. The purpose and objectives of this study are to determine whether or not there is an influence. Between motivation and interest in becoming a member. How big, and whether or not motivation influences the interest in becoming a member of the Bummas In Limbangan Garut Sharia Cooperative. The research method used in this study is to use the associative quantitative method. The data for this study were obtained from primary data by distributing questionnaires and then processed using the SPSS application. Researchers also obtained data from expert theories. This theory is used to strengthen the analysis. The results of the study showed that the motivation variable had a significant effect of 24.6% on the interest in becoming a member of the Bummas In Limbangan Garut Sharia cooperative. This can be seen based on the tcount> table (4.102> 1.299)
