    Quality Product And Excellent Service: The Impact of Repeat Savings Decision

    The tight competition in the banking industry has forced management to be creative in serving customers. Research related to product quality and service excellence has been carried out, but the research is still done partially. This research combines product quality and service excellence by utilizing customer satisfaction as a mediating variable in the decision to save again. The study population was customers of deposit accounts. This study used purposive sampling, with a number of respondents as many as 125 people. The analysis technique used was structural equation modeling, the collected data was then processed using AMOS software. After analysis, all hypotheses submitted in this study were considered to be acceptable. The managerial implications of the research are that the service excellence provided by the bank must be a service that can truly be directly felt and provide benefits, so that it can satisfy customers

    What the Factors Differentiates Bond Ratings?

    The purpose of this study is to look for factors that differentiate bond ratings listed on PEFINDO. This study uses 32 random samples of corporate bond ratings listed on PEFINDO, and will be analyzed using the multiple discriminant method. The results of this study are of 5 independent variables; corporate size, debt variation, net profit margin, debt to equity, and profit consistency, only 3 independent variables; debt variation, net profit margin and profit consistency that are able to differentiate the bond rating of corporates listed on PEFINDO. Based on the analysis using the Stepwise method, the net profit margin variable is the first variable used for analysis, where the net profit margin variable cannot partially distinguish the bond rating group. In the second stage, the results by using 2 variables, net profit margin and profit consistency are obtained that these two variables are able to distinguish groups of bonds ranked A and AA. Whereas when the debt variation  variable is added, then these three variables can distinguish bonds ranked AAA, AA and A

    The Effect of Disrupting Changes on Senior Lecturers Performance

    Rapid external changes without being followed by internal changes will have a negative impact on tertiary institutions. Internal change begins with the ability of senior lecturers because they are at the forefront in following changes. Organizational commitment is evidenced by the high quality of the lecturers’ work ability. This study utilized combined research methods or exploratory mix methods with data taken from forlap dikti and Sinta, and quantitative and qualitative analysis using WAI (Work Ability Index). Results of the study showed that the work ability of senior lecturers is lacking (0.1-1), while organizational commitment is still low as evidenced by the results of scientific journals during the past three years. The innovation of this study is the Emotional Work Community (EWC) as a concept model to improve lecturers' performance abilities that are lacking

    Analysis of Knowledge Sharing Using Canonical Correlation Toward Organizational Innovation

    This paper is based on the importance of knowledge sharing to create innovation in an organization to overcome the problem of PTPN competition with the private sector. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between knowledge sharing variables, which are tacit knowledge sharing and explicit knowledge sharing, on innovation variables, which are speed innovation and quality innovation. The data collection method used a questionnaire with a sample of 100 employees and data were analyzed using canonical correlation analysis. The results of the study showed that there was an influence on each variable. Explicit knowledge sharing had influence on the speed and quality of innovation and explicit knowledge sharing had influence on the speed and quality of innovation. Conclusions from this study were that both variables had a strong relationship, so companies can consider these variables in strategic planning

    The Implementation of Good University Governance in State Universities

    This study aims to determine the differences in the implementation of good university governance at state universities in South Sumatra and Bangka Belitung. The state universities were Bangka Belitung University, Sriwijaya University, Sriwijaya State Polytechnic, and Bangka Belitung Manufacturing Polytechnic. The principles of good university governance in this study include governance structure, autonomy, accountability, leadership, and transparency. The respondents of the study were structural officials. Research data were collected using a questionnaire. The analysis used Friedman different test because the groups comprised new and long-established state universities. The results of the analysis indicate that accountability and transparency in the implementation of good university governance in Bangka Belitung University are different from those in Sriwijaya University. Meanwhile, the implementation of good university governance in Sriwijaya Polytechnic is similar to that in Bangka Belitung Manufacturing Polytechnic

    The Globalization may gives negative impact that causes fading the culture and spreading the radicalism easily. Education is one of way to prevent it, the name is the learning approach. The objective of the research is to describe the form of implementation the KALBU approach (Local Wisdom and Culture) towards biological learning in Purworejo. The research method is descriptive research, the name is study of literature. The literature study was carried out by analyzing local wisdom and culture in Purworejo District, which numbered 8 (eight). After that, 8 (eight) local wisdom and culture were associated with Biology learning. Based on the result, the Local Wisdom and Culture (KALBU) approach can be used as an alternative approach to learning Biology. Eight local wisdoms and cultures contain 3 (three) domains, they arecognitive, psychomotoric, and attitudes. Cognitive domains that can be integrated include: biodiversity, plantae, animalia, conservation, food and medicine, and biotechnology. Psychomotoric domain include: classifying, making products (projects), and innovating. Furthermore, 8 (eight) local wisdom and culture also contains the domain of spiritual and social attitudes (Character Education Strengthening). Globalisasi dapat memberikan dampak negatif yaitu menyebabkan lunturnya budaya dan tersebarnya paham radikalisme dengan mudah. Salah satu upaya untuk mencegah hal tersebut adalah melalui pendidikan yaitu pendekatan pembelajaran.Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk implementasi pendekatan KALBU (Kearifan Lokal dan Budaya) tentang pembelajaran Biologi di Kabupaten Purworejo.Metode penelitian berupa penelitian deskriptif yang bersifat studi pustaka. Studi pustaka dilakukan dengan menganalisis mengenai kearifan lokal dan budaya di Kabupaten Purworejo yaitu berjumlah 8 (delapan). Setelah itu, 8 (delapan) kearifan lokal dan budaya tersebut dikaitkan dengan pembelajaran Biologi. Berdasarkan kajian yang dilakukan, pendekatan Kearifan Lokal dan Budaya (KALBU) dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif pendekatan dalam pembelajaran. Delapan kearifan lokal dan budaya mengandung 3 (tiga) ranah yaitu ranah pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap. Ranah pengetahuan yang dapat diintegrasikan antara lain: keanekaragaman hayati, plantae, animalia, konservasi, pangan dan obat, serta bioteknologi. Ranah keterampilan meliputi: mengklasifkasikan, membuat produk (proyek), dan melakukan inovasi. Selanjutnya, 8 (delapan) kearifan lokal dan budaya tersebut juga mengandung ranah sikap spiritual dan sosial (Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter)

    Taman Sari Sub-District, Bogor Regency has the potential for fertile soil. But these lands have not been tilled properly. Narrow housing conditions, especially for poor people, do not allow residents to plant crops. Causing the lack of consumption of vegetables; which causes residents become easily sick. In addition, there is also a lot of plastic waste, especially bottled drinking water and other things that come from tourists and fishermen who have not been processed. This condition gave rise to the idea to provide life skills training in making vertical gardens, hydroponic plants and waste management. Besides the need for makeup and haircutting skills also needed especially for orphans fostered by Yasayan Usawatun Hasanah. Community Service Activities (PkM) aims to foster community awareness of the cleanliness of the environment and empower citizens to be more creative and entrepreneurial. Therefore, in addition to the types of activities requested by the residents, UPBJJ-UT Bogor will also teach about identifying the economic value of the work done in the form of determining the cost of goods sold / production. This activity was attended by 50 orphans and it ran smoothly and successfully. Now orphans already have life skills that hope can lift their economy

    Determinant of Audit Report Lag Among Mining Companies In Indonesia

    Time period in completing the audit work until the date of publishing audit report is called audit report lag. BAPEPAM requires each of going-public companies to publish their annual reports not later than three months after the fiscal year ends. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of profitability, solvency, company size, audit opinion, and size of public accounting firm on audit report lag at mining companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period of 2013-2017. As many as 12 samples were obtained through purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used was the multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the profitability and company size negatively affected the audit report lag, while the other variables, such as solvency, audit opinion, and size of public accounting firm, had no significant effect on the audit report. The result of simultaneous test showed that all independent variables influenced audit report lag with 32.8% of determination coefficient

    Determinant of Islamic Banking Profitability In Indonesia

    Finding a determinant of profitability has become one of the most popular topics in banking research. Previous research has identified many factors that significantly influence bank profitability. There are also many studies that measure the effectiveness of sharia banking globally, but few analyze the profitability issues of sharia banks. This study aims to analyze the impact of factors affecting profitability in Islamic Banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The variables are return on assets as dependent variable and murabahah, musyarakah, mudharabah, branch office, cash office, and Automatic Teller Machine as independent variable. This study found that funding factors such as murabaha, musharaka and conventional and electronic networking factors such as Branch Office, Cash Office, and ATM had positive and significant impact on profitablity of Sharia Bank, while mudharabah had a negative and significant influence on profitablitas Sharia Bank. Sub-Branch Offices also had a negative but insignificant effect on the profitability of Sharia Banks. This result indicated that income on management became the most dominant income in generating profit of sharia banking. However, the management of funds could not work if not supported by Islamic banking channeling tools
