PELATIHAN DARING TENTANG PENGINTEGRASIAN TEKNOLOGI DALAM SUATU KELAS BAHASA INGGRIS
Get PDFThis community service aims to inform various technology to support teaching and learning activities in an online English classroom. This community service, which was an online training, was conducted on April 11, 2022, from 1.00-to 2.30 p.m. through the Google Meet platform. Seventeen lecturers of the English Language Education Program at Universitas Bunda Mulia Jakarta joined the training. In the presentation session, the author first emphasized the essence of formulating learning objectives to achieve by students before a lecturer decided to integrate technology into a classroom. The author then informed factors that could support students’ engagement in a learning process; those factors could later be used as a foundation to design English language learning activities supported by technology. The session was continued by presenting various technology, such as Whiteboard.Fi, Famous People Lesson, TED-Ed Riddle, Newsela, Lesson Writer, Screencast-o-Matic, dan Google Docs. At this session, the training participants were invited to try the technology together with the author. Then, to optimize the use of technology in a learning process, the author suggested the participants always reflect on their teaching practices, see learning activities that did not work well, then find solutions or coping strategies to deal with those issues. The author also suggested the participants have a regular monthly meeting where they can meet and try together any technology that might be used to support students to achieve their learning objectives. The training ended with a discussion and question and answer session on the authors presentation.
Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk menginformasikan berbagai teknnologi yang dapat digunakan untuk mendukung proses belajar mengajar di dalam suatu kelas Bahasa Inggris yang dilaksanakan secara daring. Kegiatan PkM dilaksanakan pada tanggal 11 April 2022, jam 13.00-14.30 WIB, dengan metode pelatihan daring melalui platform Google Meet. Tujuh belas orang dosen Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, Universitas Bunda Mulia, Jakarta mengikuti pelatihan ini. Di dalam sesi pemaparan materi, penulis pertama-tama menekankan pentingnya merumuskan tujuan pembelajaran yang akan dicapai oleh siswa sebelum seorang dosen mengintegrasikan teknologi di dalam kelasnya. Penulis juga menyampaikan beberapa faktor yang dapat mendukung keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran; faktor tersebut nantinya dapat digunakan sebagai dasar perancangan kegiatan pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris yang didukung dengan penggunaan teknologi. Sesi dilanjutkan dengan pemaparan teknologi, misalnya: Whiteboard.Fi, Famous People Lesson, TED-Ed Riddle, Newsela, Lesson Writer, Screencast-o-Matic, dan Google Docs. Pada sesi ini, para peserta PkM diajak untuk mencoba teknologi tersebut bersama-sama dengan penulis. Selanjutnya, untuk lebih mengoptimalkan penggunaan teknologi di dalam pembelajaran, penulis menyarankan para peserta PkM untuk selalu berefleksi tentang kegiatan pengajaran yang mereka lakukan dengan bantuan teknologi, melihat kegiatan pembelajaran yang sekiranya kurang berjalan dengan baik, lalu mencari solusi atas permasalahan tersebut. Penulis juga menyarankan para peserta PkM untuk mengadakan pertemuan rutin bulanan di mana mereka bisa saling bertemu dan mencoba bersama-sama suatu teknologi yang sekiranya dapat digunakan untuk mendukung siswa dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajarannya. ANALYSIS OF SINAR MEDAN RESTAURANT OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT STRATEGY IN THE PPKM PERIOD

Because this restaurant has several strategies that can be implemented and planned, so that it can survive until now. Even the condition of the Sinar Medan restaurant has started to recover as before (before the implementation of PPKM). Under these conditions, researchers conducted research on Sinar Medan Restaurant regarding the applicable operational strategy. The purpose of this study was to analyze the condition of the Sinar Medan restaurant during the PPKM period and analyze the management strategy of the Sinar Medan Restaurant during the PPKM period.

This research is a qualitative research where the research object chosen by the researcher is Sinar Medan Restaurant located in Gading Serpong. Sinar Medan Restaurant has the concept of a family restaurant.
Based on the results and discussions that have been carried out on Sinar Medan Restaurant, it can be concluded that before PPKM Sinar Medan Restaurant never touched social media to do promotions, but now they are doing promotions on social media such as creating Instagram accounts and creating new phone numbers for WhatsApp accounts.
 
THE EFFECT OF SERVICE QUALITY ON CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AT METSKY DINE & LOUNGE BEKASI
Get PDF The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction at Metsky Dine & Lounge Bekasi. This research uses descriptive research with a quantitative approach and simple linear regression analysis method. The sampling technique uses accidental sampling. The population is all customers who come to Metsky Dine & Lounge Bekasi, while the total sample is 100 respondents based on the Slovin formula. The results showed that the service quality variable has an effect on customer satisfaction at the Metsky Dine & Lounge Bekasi restaurant. It is hoped that Metsky Dine & Lounge Bekasi will continue to maintain and improve their service quality so customers continue to feel satisfied
PERAMALAN PERGERAKAN INFLASI DI JAWA TIMUR DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE TRIPLE EXPONENTIAL SMOOTHING
Get PDFThe economic growth of a nation is strongly influenced by inflation. Inflation is the continuous soaring price of goods or services. This study aims to predict the movement of inflation that will occur in East Java from January 2021 to December 2021. This study uses 48 data from the East Java Province inflation rate data from January 2017 to December 2020 sourced from the official website of BPS East Java. Predictions using the triple exponential smoothing method with forecasting evaluation using MAPE. Based on the analysis results, the parameters used are ⺠= 0,01, β = 0,09 dan γ = 0,30 which produces a MAPE value of 1.619%, which is classified as very good. The results show that the inflation forecasting from January 2021 to December 2021 is estimated at -0.13 to 0.48, with an average of 0.087. Thus, the movement of inflation in East Java from January 2021 to December 2021 is classified as low inflation, so it shows that prices and services are still stable
PERSEPSI MAHASISWA ATAS KEGIATAN MERDEKA BELAJAR KAMPUS MERDEKA (MBKM) DI LINGKUNGAN PRODI AKUNTANSI UNIKOM
Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to examine student perceptions of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy, which intends to create a superior generation with a high level of creativity, inovative ideas, and ready to learn under any conditions. The MBKM policy provides opportunities and freedom for students to choose programs and activities to gain knowledge and a different academic atmosphere, to enrich their knowledge and skills. This research is descriptive quantitative in nature. The respondents in this study were 257 active students of the Unikom Accounting Study Program. The results showed that most students had a good and positive understanding of MBKM policy and the benefit in the forms of improved hard and soft skills, regardless of the challenges. For future advancement, the university needs to continuously socialize and facilitate the University's MBKM policy implementation.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji persepsi mahasiswa atas kegiatan Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) untuk menciptakan generasi unggul dengan kreativitas, ide, inovasi dan siap belajar hal baru. Kebijakan MBKM ini memberikan peluang kepada mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan potensi diri, memilih lingkungan kampus untuk menimba ilmu sehingga untuk menemukan atmosfer akademik yang berbeda untuk memperkaya pengetahuan dan skills. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 257 mahasiswa aktif Program Studi Akuntansi Unikom. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa telah memahami kebijakan dan program MBKM serta manfaatnya dalam memberikan tantangan dan kesempatan bagi mahasiswa untuk pengembangan inovasi, kreativitas, kapasitas, kepribadian, serta terbentuknya hard skills dan soft skills mahasiswa. Untuk pelaksanaan ke depan universitas secara berkesinambungan perlu melakukan sosialisasi dan fasilitasi MBKM dengan lebih intens
EVALUASI KETERCAPAIAN TUJUAN DAN DAMPAK PELAKSANAAN PROGRAM PERTUKARAN MAHASISWA MERDEKA DI UNIVERSITAS KATOLIK WIDYA MANDALA SURABAYA
Get PDFOne of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka programs that launched by the government is Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka-Dalam Negeri (PMM-DN). This study aims to evaluate the goal achievement of the PMM program, the impact of implementation, and the level of student satisfaction with the PMM-DN program at UKWMS. This research is descriptive evaluation research. The samples are students who participated in the UKWMS PMM program as many as 78 studens. The PMM-DN has been running well in 2021. The results show that the goal of implementing PMM-DN that set by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education have been achieved. The impact can also be seen from students who get various valuable experiences to increase their capacity and competence. However, obstacles were found, including an inadequate internet network during online lectures, time and language that differences between lecturers and students, inadequate learning facilities at the university receiving and funding constraints that are still encountered need to be addressed so that PMM-DN can be implemented and evaluated with measurable outcomes.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi ketercapaian tujuan, dampak pelaksanaan, dan tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap program PMM di UKWMS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif evaluasi. Responden penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang berpartisipasi dalam program PMM UKWMS sebanyak 78 mahasiswa. Program Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka Dalam Negeri (PMM-DN) telah berjalan dengan baik di tahun 2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tujuan penyelenggaraan PMM-DN yang ditetapkan oleh Kemenristekdikti telah dapat dicapai. Dampak lain adalah terbukanya kesempatan bagi mahasiswa untuk mendapatkan berbagai pengalaman berharga bagi peningkatan kapasitas dan kompetensinya. Meskipun demikian, ditemukan kendala-kendala, diantaranya jaringan internet yang kurang memadai selama menjalankan perkuliahan secara daring, perbedaan waktu dan bahasa antara dosen dan mahasiswa, fasilitas pembelajaran di PT penerima yang kurang serta kendala pendanaan yang perlu diperbaiki agar PMM-DN dapat dilaksanakan dengan lebih lancar dan dievaluasi dengan hasil yang lebih terukur di masa depan
Analisis Faktor-Faktor Kesiapan Kerja di Bidang Kuliner pada Siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan
Get PDFThis study aims to determine the factors of job readiness in the culinary field. This research is a quantitative research. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and documentation. The validity of the items was tested with the product moment correlation, the results obtained were 19 valid items and 3 items failed. The results of the reliability test obtained the value of Alpha = 0.951. Data analysis techniques in this study are the mean, median, mode, and standard deviation. The results showed that the factors of job readiness in the culinary field in Vocational High School students were in the sufficient category with a relative frequency of 60.32%. The variables of job readiness factors in the culinary field have two indicators, namely internal factors and external factors. (1) Internal factors are in sufficient category with a relative frequency of 66.67% and (2) external factors are in sufficient category with a relative frequency of 52.38%. It can be concluded that the internal and external factors of work readiness in the culinary field are quite sufficient. Students are expected to be more active and confident in learning theory and practice
The Role of Universitas Terbuka-Indonesia in Improving Higher Education Services in Indonesia

The aim is to comprehensively analyze the role of UT Indonesia in providing higher education services, increasing the outreach of higher education, and quality assurance. This study uses literature studies to assess, critique, and synthesize literature on research topics that allow for the emergence of new theoretical frameworks and perspectives. The review process includes four phases: design, implementation, analysis, and finally writing a review. Studies show that UT Indonesia has a very important role in optimizing the field of higher education for the community. UT's excellence as a distance university is largely determined by the quality of service in the form of student satisfaction. In addition, with the characteristics of the distance education system, UT can be considered as a solution to various educational problems, especially those related to equity and democratization of education, as well as expanding access to quality education for all levels of society across time and space. Lastly, high-tech learning models and quality assurance systems can be implemented based on ICT. It is important to use a quality circle approach in developing DE courses and learning materials for students. UT has an important role in improving the accessibility and quality of ICT-based education in Indonesia because of its cost effectiveness and flexibility in the implementation of learning
Digital Penetration of Halal Cosmetic Business in Indonesia During 4.0 Revolution

Many companies also apply this technology, one of which is by utilizing digital marketing. This study aims to see the effect of digitization on the halal industry in Indonesia, especially in the field of halal cosmetics. The method used in this research is literature review with the topic of digitization that focuses on digital marketing. The object of this research is Wardah Cosmetics. From this research shows that the digitization carried out by Wardah Cosmetics in the form of digital marketing with the use of media is proven to have an effect on increasing brand awareness and digital sales of its products. It can be argued that revolution 4.0 or digitalization is very significant for economic growth in Indonesia. In addition, digital media can increase business efficiency and profits as well as as a media da'wah for the halal industry. Further research is needed regarding the application of digitization in the Islamic economy to be an important part of the Indonesian Sharia Economics Master Plan (MEKSI)
Financial Performance of Banten Province Before and During the Covid-19 Pandemic
Get PDFThe government of Indonesia has taken several policies to reduce the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget as a consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic. This also affects the financial condition of local governments, including the province of Banten. This study aims to determine the financial performance of the Banten province in the pre-pandemic and during the pandemic which is reflected in the degree of fiscal decentralization, the effectiveness of local own-source revenue, degree of dependency, and independence. This research is a quantitative descriptive genre using secondary data from 2015-2021 sourced from reports on the results of financial audits from BPK-RI and The Central Bureau of Statistics of Banten. The method used in this research is financial ratio analysis and comparison of results. The results showed that the degree of fiscal decentralization of Banten province was in a very good category with effective PAD, the degree of regional independence was in a good category and the degree of dependence was low. The results of intra and inter-comparisons show that Banten's position in financial performance during the pandemic is in the very good category. This study recommends the need for commitment and consistency of local governments to continue to improve and maintain financial independence
