QUANTUM MECHANICS & THE ROLE FOR CONSCIOUSNESS IN THE PHYSICAL WORLDD
Get PDFIn this paper we will address important considerations for the structure of a physical theory and the need and implications for the conscious observer and creator. Complementarity and reciprocity are dominate in the sttucture of the Quantum \'Vorld. It is clear that one's meaningful existence directly involves one's intent and acdon both mental and physical in consequence. Hence, it is vital ro undersrand what intemional will is, the manner in which it arises, as it relates to one's ethical responsibility the meaning of their life may also be considered in the context of intentional will and may be described and understOod. We investigate the role of conscious intention in the physical and mental world. In this paper, we examine the theoretical constructs of the properties of observational intention and their local and nonlocal effects on mind and matter. One begins by sensing a physical or psychic input and then becoming consciously aware of it as perceptions and thoughts which result in concepts developed for memories, reasoning and feelings. Then a thought and decision will be made and imention are carried into action in the physical and mental world. We proceed by investigating the role and action of the thought of intentional will and its role in quantum mechanics, its structure of the theoty and manner in which it appears ro demand a role for consciousness. In order to proceed with our investigation will present some of the basic tenants of quantum mechanics, the structure of the theoty and manner in which it appears ro demand a role for consciousness in quantum measurement and its non local intentional interaction. The quantum theory gives us two inescapable conclusions: J) we are intimaly linked ro the world as participatory observers, and 2) nonlocal remote connections and interactions are shown to be parr of our world process. Discoveries, and/or creations of new concepts in physics lead ro the observer/participant issue. Quantum mechanics, the theory of atomic microcosm, is a description that may imply that the observer has an impact on the observed, that rhe observer has an effect on what is observed. The relativity theory scems to imply that the state of the observer affecrs his interpretation of what he sees. In the context of quantum theoty and relativity, we may be able to shed light on the relationship of discovery as well as creation and irs validation of the properties of an external reality. In quantum physics, as well as in the structure of n-dimensional relativistic models, the implication for a fundamental remore connection of events is deeply implied by the structure of these models and their experimental test and we can use this property for our experimental models of the properties of consciousness. The structure of physical theoty, its very fabric, is pointing towards a world view that speaks of concepts which have been considered external to the body of science but yet may be implied by modern physical theoty itself

THE EFFECT OF HEARTMATH TECHNIQUES ON EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE
Get PDFThis study examines the effects of HeartMath techniques on emotional intelligence. The HeartMath techniques implemented are Heart Lock-In®, Neutral® and FreezeFrame®. The dependent measurement is the BarOn Emotional Quotient Inventory, which contains a total EQ scale along with fifteen sub scales. The independent variable is a one day seven hour workshop, titled The Power to Change Performance. The experimental design with control is a pre-test/post-test administered within a six week interval. A 2x2 mixed factorial statistical design yielded statistical significant differences for Total EQ (p = .001), Stress Tolerance (p = .01), Happiness (p .03). Marginal statistical significance was found for Interpersonal Relationship (p .08) and Reality Testing (p = .07). In total, ten of the fifteen sub scales showed an increase in measurement. This data strongly indicates that the practice of HeartMath techniques for six weeks increases emotional intelligence
THE EFFECT OF INTENTION ON DECREASING ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION UTILIZING INTENTION IMPRINTED DEVICES
Get PDFTwo experiments, one double blind, were conducted to explore the effects of intention on anxiety and depression utilizing an Intention-Imprinted Electronic Device (rIED) on adult subjects throughout the Central United States, Canada, and Mexico. Subjects were divided randomly into two groups, with demographic information from each entered on one of two computers. The lIED was imprinted by four experienced meditators with an intention for improved health, decreased anxiety and decreased depression. The intervention group scrolled continuously down a computer screen in the vicinity of the lIED broadcasting the intention. At a separate location, the control group demographics scrolled continuously down a computer screen with no intention. The interventions were conducted at three month and eight month intervals
Human Volitional Effects on a Model Bacterial System
No full textThis paper presents experimental designs and results ofthree major studies inwhich a wellknown healer's intention to produce a healing effect was correlated with increased growth and motilityina well-characterized bacterial system. Use ofa model bacterial system made it possible to design a prototype experiment correlating intention with growth and motility effects in a remote shielded sterile system. Optimally growing bacterial cultures were prepared, and different amounts and types ofchemical antibacterial agents were added to cultures in separate test tubes. Multiple samples of such preparations were made and separated into twogroups, one tobetreatedbythe healer and the other toserve as untreated controls. Statistical comparisons were madebetween(1) healer-treated samples, (2) controls, and (3) extensive baseline data. Antibiotic dose response studies were also conducted using different types and amounts of inhibitors. Highly significant and reproducible effects of healer-treated samples over controls were found. As anticipated, differential dose response effects were found in which the healer's effects were more pronounced for lower concentrations of agents
