GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY AND VIOLENT BEHAVIOR
Get PDFThis paper reports on a statistical study of hypothesized relationships between three indices of geomagnetic field activity and the incidence of violent crime on a nationwide basis. focusing on monthly variation over the entirety of an II-year solar cycle, and yearly variation over a 30 year period encompassing the past three solar cycles (cycles 19. 20 and 21). Contrary to expectations. sunspot numbers -which have only a tenuous relationship with geomagnetic al."tiviry -were found to be significant at the yearly level. while none of the more direct indices of geomagnetic activity exhibited any correlation. The possibility of a non-magnetic solar effect on human behavior is therefore raised
THE SCIENCE OF CONNECTIVENESS
No full textThis is the first of a series of three articles that will outline a proposed scientific model with the goal of stimulating a new vision toward resolving the Mind-matter question and acknowledging an underlying connectiveness in the universe. Scientific is defined to mean that the "parts" or links already exist as useful concepts in the scientific community. The model being proposed assumes that everyday reality is not simply "out there" nor is it "within." Rather, it is suggested that everyday reality is a "perception" we construct from aspects of the "unity" within which we are immersed. The background of the authors is in physics, engineering, and mathematics. It will be from this perspective that the relationship to psychology, the healing arts, linguistics, metaphysics, and religion will be developed. The implications to the fields of subtle energy and energy medicine will be emphasized. The genesis of the concepts presented first appeared in a report entitled The Unification ofMind and Matter: A Proposed Scientific Model. l The report is a written documentation and extension of invited presentations by the two authors at the 1st ISSSEEM Conference held in June 1991. In addition, the articles reflect further insights gained from an interdisciplinary working meeting entitled "Seeking a Common Basis for Language, Mathematics, and Physics"2 and from research for the talk "Physics and the Power of Symbols"3 presented at the 3rd ISSSEEM Conference. A summary of the concepts was first published as a three part series4 in The Journal ofReligion and Psychical Research. The three ISSSEEM articles will closely parallel the copyrighted JRPR articles and are being published with the kind permission of The Academy of Religion and Psychical Research, Bloomfield, CT. Part I presents the basic assumptions of the model and introduces the model by exploring aspects of a reality that extends beyond our limited concepts of three dimensional space plus time. The phenomena of non-locality in quantum physics and the theory of archetypes in depth psychology are two features with important implications for the model. Part II will discuss the quantum feature of non-locality as it relates to the interface process between Mind and the material world and will conclude with a description of the dynamics of the process-how the interplay takes place and works. Part III will explore the relationship of the model to human experience. The power of symbolic patterns in the physical for serving the role of mediator between the happenings in the physical (or outer reality) and the mental (or inner reality) will be expanded upon
THE TRANSPERSONAL, TRANSFORMATION AND BIOENERGETIC HEALING
Get PDFIn this section, we present the Greens' and other's ideas pertaining to trans personal psychology and bioenergetic healing, philosophical understandings of the ptocess of human development as well as the relationship of humankind to the multi-leveled world that surrounds us and that wells up within us. Particular states of consciousness are defined and are later used to describe experiences of meditators in the "Copper Wall" laboratory environment. Methods for programming the unconscious are detailed. These methods are practically useful in relation to problemsolving and to health and healing. Next we are led to examine these ideas further through the medium of alpha-theta neurofeedback, an instrumental form of meditation. Consideration is given to mechanisms underlying the role of the unconscious in problem-solving in "The I Ching Effect." Two seminal papers present physical results from the Copper WaH laboratory including static electrical field effects and interaction between magnetic fields and gender. Selections from two papers deal with aspects of bioenergetic healing. Finally, selections from two relevant Presidential Addresses to ISSSEEM including that of Dr. Green conclude this meaningful perspective

ANOMALOUS ENVIRONMENTAL INFLUENCES ON IN VITRO ENZYME STUDIES Part 1: Some Faraday Cage & Multiple Vessel Effects
Get PDFIn these papers, we experimentally explore the connection between a detector, which is a small vessel containing an in vitro enzyme-alkaline phosphatase (ALP), and its local environment via monitoring the ALP thermodynamic activity as the local environment is changed. Based on purely space-time (D-space) physics, there should be no change in ALP activity as the environment of the incubator/refrigerator is systematically altered. However, based on reciprocal spacetime (R-space/D-space) interactive physics, changes can be expected under appropriate conditions. Here we report on (a) the effects associated with having no Faraday cage vs. an empty Faraday cage made from 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 layers of copper screen located on the shelf beside the detector and (b) the same as (a) but with an ALP-solution vessel at various D-space locations in the Faraday Cage. Experimentally, we find statistically significant changes in ALP activity as the environment of the control vessel is systematically changed. ANO~OUSE~RONMENTAL INFLUENCES ON IN VITRO ENZYME STUDIES Part 2: Some Electronic Device Effects
Get PDFIn this papet we continue our experimental exploration of the connection between a small vessel containing an in vitro enzyme-alkaline phosphatase (ALP) and its local environment via monitoring the ALP thermodynamic activity as the local environment is changed. Here, we report on the influence of an intention imprinted electronic device (lIED) at various space-time (D-space) locations inside an incubator and inside a Faraday cage in the incubator. The lIED can be either imprinted or not and it can be in the "on" or "off' state. Again, we observed some remarkable and statistically significant effects that appear to have no ready explanation based upon the accepted, present day, scientific paradigm. We found that Faraday cage shielding from ambient environmental EMFs significantly increased ALP activity while the low power/specific frequency EMFs from an un imprinted device significantly reduced ALP activity. Importantly, the specific intention imprint of the lIED more than compensated for these normal EMF effects and increased the ALP activity most of all. Thus, it has been clearly shown that the IIED effects on water and other in vivo biological systems can be extended to an in vitro biological material, the liver enzyme alkaline phosphatase
