A DOUBLE-BLIND EEG-RESPONSE TEST FOR A SUPPOSED ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD-NEUTRALIZING DEVICE Part I: Via The Clinician Expertise Procedure

    Get PDF
Twenty-seven individuals were evaluated for effects of a clock emitting 50 milligaus of electromagnetic field energy(EMF) upon the computerized EEG(brain map). They were then retested with either an active or placebo pendant(Clarus QLink) on the chest while again receiving 50 milligaus of electromagnetic energy applied within 6 inches of the vertex of the skull and finally retested after wearing the pendant for a month. Both subject and research technician were blinded to the active versus placebo devices. The active pendant showed significantly greater protection from the EEG disturbance induced by the electromagnetically active clock

Now we skip to a recent article, published almost thirty years later, in which a contribution of the Green 5 work with trans personal psychology was recognized. Bruce Scotton 5 article (published in Psychiatric Annals 29,8 (1999), p. 455-464, presented in part at the annual meetings of the American Psychiatric Association, 1989-1997) defines and explores how many aspects of trans personal psychological understanding may be integrated into a trans personal psychiatry. rEds.

    The Work of Eugene Peniston

More details on how intuition can help solve daily problems are presented here from Dr. Green s «biosketch addendum," in which he comments on the work of Eugene Peniston, Ph.D. We include this selection here as a clear example ofhow intuition can playa role in solving scientific, clinical and research problems. At Menninger, the Center for Applied Psychophysiology conducted a series of biofeedback workshops that were advertised in the American Psychological Association Monitor and other publications. Gene Peniston, active in treatment ofalcoholics and other addicts, came from the Veterans Administration Hospital in Fort Lyons, Colorado to attend the Clinical Biofeedback Workshop, where the relationships between brain rhythms and substance abuse were discussed, and he later returned to the three-day Brainwave Training Workshop, in which workshop participants could learn rudiments of theta brainwave biofeedback for «interrogation and programming of the unconscious." rEds.

A colleague ofElmer Green, Ann Nunley, M.F.A., Ph.D.> wrote a book, Inner Counselor, in which ones inner wisdom or Higher Self can be contacted with the use ofa unique set ofcards representing human qualities. She asked Dr. Green to write the introduction, and we include it here because it reveals his thinking about how intuition articulates with the world at large> with the cosmos. rEds.

THEORY AND APORY IN HEALING RESEARCH: ''Influence'' ~rsus "Correlational" Models

    Get PDF
Healing Energy Research, like any research area, has to make presuppositions, which are normally not discussed. Among them are assumptions about how the mind-matter problem should be solved, and whether the events observed in healings are causal or not. The mind-matter problem is briefly discussed. It is pointed out that a dualist stance in healing research, positing a mind independent from matter, creates specific problems on top of the unsolved duality problem of normal science, especially when combined with a local and causalist view of healing. Problems with a localist view are pointed out and an alternative model for understanding healing effects is proposed. This model operates along the lines of generalizing conditions for entanglement or EPR-like correlations. It is shown that macroscopic entanglement in analogy to the classical EPR correlations of quantum mechanics is, in principle, a possibility under certain conditions. I hold that understanding healing along the lines of a correlational model, with healing being an instance of macroscopic entanglement is more likely to be a correct reconstruction of healing than a causalist one. Nevertheless it could be important for practitioners to adopt a causalist and localist view in order to be able to perform those operations, which in a correlational view are the preconditions for healing to oCCut

PSYCHIC HEALING AND THE ANISOTROPIC UNIVERSE

    Get PDF
Drawing on his training in advanced physics and quantum theory, wgether with an in-depth questioning of the latters' known inconsistencies, physicist/psychic healer Nicolai Levashov has concluded that the universe is anisotropic, i.e., non-uniform in spatial structure. This concept, while backed by serious supporr in the field of astrophysics, runs directly coumer ro the classical view that the structure of space is uniform (isotropic)-which holds that space has the same qualities and properties in all directions and that matter, therefore, must manifest similarly in all directions of space. However, Levashov, from his dual perspective of healer and physicist, believes that spatial anisotropy plays a pivotal role in all creation, both macro-and microcosmic. This process unfolds through the eternal interplay of subtle and physical matter in quantized space, which, he concludes, is the cradle of all creation, and is governed by specific and quantifiable parameters resulting from spatial anisotropy. l.evashov has laid our the mathematical formulation of this process. A healer, trained by Levashov to access an advanced state of consciousness and elevated energy potemial, must draw on this understanding of the universe, in order ro orchestrate the creation or dissolution of matter for healing purposes, in accordance with natural law. Levashov's basic training of a healer is described, along with the attendant pitfalls and challenges. The steps of the healing process itself, e.g., scanning, detoxification, cellular ablation and regeneration, etc., are detailed in the light of Levashov's cosmological position; and two fully documented cases are presented of children with classically incurable problems, successfully treared by Levashov
