Learning Model for Local Wisdom-based Prophet's Hadith Translation

Google Translate is widely used among students for translation purposes, but its Arabic-Indonesian translations often require significant re-editing due to issues with accuracy and quality. These limitations highlight the need for improved translation learning methods to enhance the quality of Arabic-Indonesian translations. This study aims to analyze the types of errors found in Arabic-Indonesian machine translation and introduce the Ngalodern method, rooted in Indonesian local wisdom, to improve translation quality. A descriptive analysis method was employed, combining eclectic theories to achieve the study’s objectives. The research was conducted in three stages; first, data collection through questionnaires and interviews; second, data analysis using the translational equivalent method to identify accurate meanings and the distributional method to describe grammatical errors; and third presenting the data in tables showing the percentage of translation errors in Islamic studies texts. The Ngalodern method was described in a descriptive framework. The study identified translation errors at the levels of morphemes, words, phrases, and clauses. Additionally, Ngalodern learning, based on Sundanese cultural wisdom and critical literacy, was developed as a teaching strategy for Arabic-Indonesian translation improvement in educational contexts. The findings demonstrate that Ngalodern learning significantly enhances students’ ability to edit and improve Arabic-Indonesian machine translation results. This method offers a culturally relevant and effective approach to developing translation skills

Riau Province has a large area of oil palm plantations. Of the land area of 2.32 million hectares, 1.53 million hectares are oil palm plantations owned by the community. In 2019, there were 51 cases of natural resource conflicts in Riau Province, of which the plantation sector was the most with 40 cases (78.40 percent). This study applied a qualitative descriptive method to understand the phenomenon of plantation land conflict that aimed to: (1) identify the factors that cause conflicts in oil palm plantations in Riau Province; (2) identify current policies related to the handling of plantation conflicts and (3) recommend policy suggestions that better protect the interests of the community from an Islamic perspective. This study concluded as follow: (1) the causes of land conflicts identified are non-legal factor which is related to the management of land use and access, and legal factor which is related to judicial and regulation overlap; (2) Regarding the current policies related to plantation land conflicts, the development of oil palm plantations is basically in line with the mandate of the 1945 Constitution that natural resources are controlled by the state and used for the prosperity of the people.; (3) to protect the community interests in plantation land, this study recommends policy based on Islamic guidelines in land ownership. Islamic law classifies ownership into individual property rights (al-milkiyah al-khassah), collective property rights (al-milkiyyah al-'ammah) and state property rights (al-milkiyah al-daulah). This classification protects the community's property rights individually and collectively because investors cannot dictate the state to take over community ownership. Islam also has rules for activating inactive land and distributing it to people who can manage it, which will be the solution to unauthorized land use that is prone to conflict

Discipline has been characterised by several scholars as mental and moral activities that ensure conformity to rules and regulations for the development of society. In any organisation, the core problem that needs to be tackled is the disciplinary problem. Islam has promoted discipline as the interjecting factor which leads to success in this world and hereafter. This descriptive study will be discussing on the disciplinary problems among the army personnel, the contributing factors to the problem as well as coming up with Islamic approach solutions to the problem. Discipline and the military are synonymous and the ability to adhere to the rules that have been determined is the decisive factor which can lead to one's career excellence in the military. Zina, gambling, alcoholism is some of the criminal cases that have been committed by these personnel. It is believed that the occurrences of these cases are due to their lack of religious knowledge and practices (not performing prayers and being ignorant towards the Al-Quran), lack of parental guidance and family problems. This paper will investigate how the principles of Al-Quran can assist in the instillation of discipline as outlined in Islamic teachings among the military personnel. This study will use a qualitative method by reviewing related documents, interviews and carrying out observations. In order to establish high discipline levels within the Malaysian Armed Forces, a more in-depth assessment of the existing disciplinary problems, their contributing elements, and resolving actions based on the principles of the Al-Quran will be conducted

The purpose of this study is to analyze information about implementation of Corporate Governance in Islamic banking. This study uses a quantitative approach with a systematic literature review method from various journals. With the systematic literature review method, the authors identify all empirical evidence, where the identification aims to answer questions such as "How is the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in Indonesian Islamic banking?", "What is the role of the Shariah Supervisory Board?", "What is the impact of implementing GCG?". The results of the analysis found that the implementation of GCG in Islamic banking was quite good but still not effective. This is because the governance mechanism is still not fully in accordance with Shariah principles. Therefore, the role of DPS in the implementation of GCG is very important and must be optimized. This finding also opens information about the development of GCG in Islamic banking today so that it can be used as reference material for further research

Model of Islamic Civilization in Indonesia

Islam is part of the source of civilization for its adherents. It is adjusted to the term civilization itself, which has the meaning of the product of activities in human life, both in the economic, social, political, educational fields, and so on. Thus, in this case, Islam as a religion, in its holy writings, also provides a clue about the things needed in human life, although not in clear language. Enforcing the implementation of Arabic Islamic Sharia into society such as in Indonesia will form a feeling of alienation in religion. For example, in the case of wearing the hijab for Muslim women. Arab or Middle Eastern dress models and hijabs have black color. If these models are used in the Muslim community in Indonesia, the users will look different and seem strange in the community itself. Therefore, a wise attitude is needed in the implementation of religious teaching to adjust according to the existing local or local culture
