This research is to reveal that education is not only dealing with issues of intelligence and thinking, but it is also fully responsible for the development of students' character. Due to the said reason, it is important to explore such research considering that the mental situation of this nation is clearly correlated with the spirit of national education which has been value free. Our educational philosophy is indeed intellectual, but our learning strategy is no longer concerned with the mental, moral, and developmental aspects of enlightening thinking skills. The national education curriculum and methodology are designed only to fill the mind with a series of knowledge and do not provide enough opportunity for the growth of an enlightened human being. Al-Qur'an for Muslims is not a mere a religious scripture, but it is also indeed to be an enlightening guide to find some basic principles of education which can then inspire in developing a qualified education. This study uses the Qur'anic literature method as well as a descriptive and qualitative research with a library research approach by analysing Qur’anic verses. This article analyzes the signs of al-Qur'an as the basic framework for building a liberating and enlightening education

This study explores the concept of an Islamic community-based enterprise (CBE) by addressing the fundamental differences between Islamic values and capitalist principles. This approach aims to develop a holistic CBE framework rooted in Islamic teachings, offering an alternative to conventional models dominated by capitalist ideologies. The purpose of this study is to conceptualize an Islamic CBE by reviewing three key components—social entrepreneurship, social capital, and development concepts—from an Islamic perspective. This research employs a conceptual and exploratory approach, analyzing existing literature on community-based enterprises and related topics. It critically evaluates conventional CBE frameworks and their embedded capitalist elements. The analysis reveals that conventional CBE concepts have unresolved limitations due to their capitalist foundations. By integrating Islamic perspectives, this study proposes an alternative model for Islamic CBE that addresses these shortcomings and offers a comprehensive framework for local development. The proposed Islamic CBE framework provides a roadmap for Islamic entrepreneurship that aligns with local conditions and fosters community-based economic development. This approach has practical implications for policymakers and stakeholders seeking to enhance local development through community-based enterprises. Future studies should focus on empirical investigations and the development of measurement tools to validate and refine this conceptual framework. This research serves as a foundational contribution to advancing Islamic community-based enterprise studies

Omnibus Law and the Challenges of the Indonesian Agricultural Sector: an Islamic Perspective

In late 2020, the Indonesian Parliament enacted the Job Creation Law, known as the "Omnibus Law," which introduced significant amendments to various sectors, including agriculture. The law aims to boost food trade and increase private sector involvement in enhancing agricultural productivity. However, critics argue that the law disadvantages farmers by deprioritizing local agricultural products and heavily relying on imports to meet domestic food supply needs. Additionally, the law removes restrictions on foreign investment in horticulture and establishes a land bank to manage and redistribute idle lands. This article aims to analyze the impact of the Omnibus Law on Indonesia's agricultural sector, assessing its implications through both descriptive analysis and an Islamic perspective. A descriptive analysis approach was employed to compare the Omnibus Law with previous agricultural laws. The study evaluates the substance of the law, its effects on the agricultural sector, and its alignment with Islamic principles. The analysis reveals significant changes in agricultural policies, including increased reliance on imports, reduced prioritization of local products, and expanded foreign investment opportunities. These shifts present challenges for farmers and raise concerns about the sustainability of Indonesia's agricultural sector. By incorporating an Islamic perspective, this study highlights the need for a balanced approach that ensures fairness for farmers while supporting national agricultural productivity. The findings suggest policy adjustments to better align the Omnibus Law with sustainable and inclusive agricultural development in Indonesia

Poverty Alleviation: Womenomics versus the Islamic Solution

Society currently faces problems in every aspect of life, including socioeconomic problems such as the problem of increasingly severe poverty. The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) report noted that the number of poor people in Indonesia in 2020 was 26.42 million. The existence of a pandemic exacerbates the situation with rising poverty levels. In addition, many women have to work as heads of households, and the high divorce rate makes the challenges even more difficult. One of the solutions to women's poverty that is currently the mainstream is the gender perspective. Based on this gender perspective, the idea of alleviating women's poverty was emerged through empowering women in the public sector, including in work environment. This idea has been supported by International Programs including the APEC Women and Economic Forum in early September 2013, which voiced the slogan 'Women as Economic Drivers'. In line with this, Japan also echoed the term womenomics. This article aims to: (1) identify the background of the emergence of the idea of womenomics and the extent to which it has been achieved; (2) identify the root cause of poverty and (3) recommend a complete solution to the problem of poverty from an Islamic perspective. The results show that the background of the push for women to public sector, including the womenomics strategy is not based on concern for women's welfare but as an instrument to pursue economic growth. So the results achieved are not far from the capitalist calculation. This womenomics perspective is in stark contrast to the view of Islam, where women and men have equal opportunities to achieve high rewards and positions before the Creator in their respective roles. The perfect Islamic Shari'a has a mechanism for solving people's poverty, and it has been proven during fourteen centuries of Islamic practice

This article examines the living Qur'an and hadith in cultivating early childhood morals, especially in the Nussa animation film episode Please and Thank You. This study aims to determine the role of the Nussa animation film on the character and morals of early childhood in the era of globalization. This research used a quantitative approach through cluster sampling data collection methods as many as 30 respondents conducted at SDN 1 Sukaraja and SDN 2 Cinangka with age criteria 7-8 years. The results found that correlation between the Nussa animation film against early childhood morals was 34% and has an effect of 11.6%. The transmission process presented in the Nussa animation film occurs through Umma's character as a parent and a quote at the end of the story. The wisdom contained in the Nussa animation film is in accordance with the hadith narrated by Al-Baihaqi, namely that the Messenger of Allah was sent to improve human morals and the Qur'an Surah Ali-Imran verse 110 which explains the importance of good behavior towards others as a reflection of the behavior of a Muslim and the best of the people. Umma’s character convey messages from the content of the Hadith of Al-Baihaqi and the Qur'an Surah Ali-Imran verse 110 history which is explained implicitly. So, it can be concluded that the morals of students at SDN 1 Sukaraja and SDN 2 Cinangka are not influenced by the viewing of the Nussa animation film
