Resources of Islamic Countries
This study examines the potential outcomes of uniting the resources of Muslim countries. Despite the challenges in obtaining accurate data, various representative approaches are proposed. Among the institutions that collect such data is the Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Center for Islamic Countries (SESRIC), which is under the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. The analysis focuses on the sufficiency of energy, food, and industrial raw materials in Muslim nations. However, it emphasizes the need for adjustments to improve economic interdependence among these countries, reducing their reliance on developed nations that once colonized them. Furthermore, the study acknowledges the ongoing work required to tap into intangible resources effectively. The findings underscore the anticipated benefits and ease that can be achieved through collaborative efforts among Muslim countries, paving the way for improved resource utilization and collective advancement

Contemporary Discourse on Citizenship: An Islamic Perspective
The pre-modern political frameworks of Muslim institutions, rooted in classifications like Dār al-Islam (Abode of Islam) and Dār al-Harb (Abode of War), are no longer fully compatible with the modern nation-state system. Contemporary terms such as Dār alShahādah (Abode of Testimony), Dār al-Ahd (Abode of Truce), and Dār al-Amān (Abode of Peace) have emerged as additions to the classical framework to address evolving sociopolitical contexts. This study aims to analyze the contributions of modern Muslim scholars and reformist thinkers to the development and reinterpretation of these classifications and their relevance to contemporary citizenship (Muwātana). Through a historical and analytical approach, the paper traces the evolution of the concept of citizenship within Islamic political thought, examining its transition from the Caliphate era (632–661 C.E) to the Ottoman Empire (1299–1924 C.E) and beyond. Special emphasis is placed on the reinterpretation of these concepts in light of Darūrah (necessity). The study reveals that the modern reinterpretations of classical frameworks offer a more inclusive and cohesive understanding of citizenship, treating all individuals equally within the nation-state paradigm. These developments reflect the adaptability of Islamic legal and political thought in addressing contemporary challenges. By exploring the evolution of citizenship within Islamic political history, this research underscores the necessity of reimagining classical frameworks to align with current socio-political realities, fostering greater inclusivity and harmony within diverse nation-state systems
Natural Resource Management in the Perspective of Fiqh Rules: An Islamic State Budget Proposal For Indonesia
One of the measuring tools to determine the level of progress of a country is the level of consumption per capita of its population. The level of consumption is the main indicator of purchasing power that shows the level of welfare of the population of a country. Increased purchasing power and welfare can be created through various policies, one of which is reducing production costs. One component of production costs that can be eliminated is taxes, so it is necessary to initiate a state revenue budget without taxes. This study aims to calculate the potential of natural resources in Indonesia that can be explored and exploited as the main source of income in the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget. This research uses a literature study approach from reliable sources. Data and documents are processed to be evaluated economically and classified into three categories, namely energy sources or mining products, forest products, and marine products. The budgeting analysis is carried out with a study of muamalah fiqh which will produce a formulation or proposal for the state budget of revenue and expenditure in an Islamic perspective. The findings in this study indicate that the economic value of natural resources produced in Indonesia is capable of generating real wealth that is relevant to be used as the main source of income, in addition to sources of zakat, infaq, waqf, and grants which are also sources of state income in an Islamic perspective. Through this paper, it is hoped that it will create understanding and awareness among state leaders and managers to optimize natural resources in the policy of state revenue sources, so that taxes which are production costs can be minimized or even abolished. Thus the ideals of creating people's welfare can be realized immediately
Solutions to Food Security Problems in Indonesia: An Islamic Perspective
Indonesia should not have problems related to food security. However, the level of food production is not so large that it depends on rice imports. Therefore, this study aims to describe the various factors causing the food security crisis in Indonesia and the solutions according to an Islamic perspective. This study used the descriptive analysis method. There are three steps in this method, the first is the provision of data from BPS and various relevant literature. Second, the data were analyzed using the causality analysis method. Third, the presentation of the results of the analysis is presented in an explanatory descriptive manner with an Islamic perspective. The results of the study show that the main cause of the food security crisis in Indonesia is the neoliberalism paradigm and its governance concept. The derivative factors that cause the food crisis are the lack of swift management: sources of funds, infrastructure, quality of human resources, technology, and mechanisms or regulations that facilitate access for all people to all economic factors. The solution from an Islamic perspective is the paradigm of food independence which creates food security. Several recommendations for food independence are the availability of agricultural land by the Islamic ownership system; industrial political policies that support food security; and independent research to formulate maps, directions, financing, and implementation
