The research aims to describe the governance and accountability of public services during a reform by taking the research object in Indonesia. The research uses qualitative methods which help describe and understand the substance of an event by strengthening it through phenomenological methods to analyze the same symptoms with different views and a historical approach based on sources of knowledge that occurred in the past. Sources of data from several literature include the Al-Qur'an, al-Hadith, books and journals that are relevant to the research. The data analysis technique uses triangulation as a strategy used to validate data from data sources and themes in a coherent manner. The results of this research recommend that the discussion of public services be related to public services, the public sector and service provision or service delivery which refers to activities and services carried out to meet the needs of the general public. Implementation of service duties and supervision of public services through the system implemented by the state results in poor public services to the community. In an Islamic perspective, the actualization of the application of the Islamic system in aspects of public services will create a bureaucracy that is simple, easy and efficient, responds quickly with the ability and capability to handle people's affairs. Likewise, fulfilling other public needs such as education, health and so on comes from efficient and effective management of natural resources. It is this reform that will ensure the true welfare of society

Spiritual Aspects of Pregnancy and Childbirth Based on an Islamic Perspective

A midwife adheres to a philosophy and has the belief that all human beings are unique bio-psycho- socio-cultural and spiritual beings who are a complete physical and spiritual entity and no two individuals are the same. The physical, psychological and spiritual synergy that is built during pregnancy has a significant impact on the outcome of labor. The role of religion as spirituality in this case maintaining human relations with the greatest power of Allah SWT, is an entity that cannot be negated in the management of pregnancy and childbirth care. Spirituality strongly affects Muslim women's behavior in caring for their pregnancy. The aim of this literature review study is to determine the effect of spiritual aspects on pregnancy and childbirth. Searches for qualitative and quantitative research published in peer reviewed journals were carried out through the PubMed, Elsevier and Google Scholar databases using a combination of the search terms "spiritual", "pregnancy", "childbirth" and "Islam" which were searched systematically. Publications selected for the final review covered a variety of research designs including experimental, case-control, phenomenological, cross-sectional, and ethnographic studies published between 2010 and 2022 and free full text articles, resulting in a final data set that included 15 studies. A spiritual approach to pregnancy has been shown to reduce stress in high-risk pregnancies and support normal delivery. Spirituality is a power from God that makes a woman confident about her health during pregnancy and childbirth and prevents excessive anxiety. A midwife should provide midwifery care holistically by paying attention to physical, mental, spiritual and social aspects in order to achieve optimal health and well-being. Attending to women's spiritual experiences during childbearing is an important way to enhance care

The purpose of this study is to examine students' entrepreneurial intentions within the Muslim community and analyze gender differences. The overarching theory utilized is the Theory of Planned Behavior. The study involves 270 Islamic boarding school students in Cirebon. The questionnaire comprised four sections aimed at gathering information about behavioral attitudes, subjective norms, perceived control over behavior, and entrepreneurial intentions. Responses were recorded on a five-point numeric scale. The findings revealed that attitudes toward behavior and subjective norms were the primary predictors of entrepreneurial intentions, whereas perceived behavioral control was not significant. Additionally, the study found no notable difference in social entrepreneurship intentions between male and female students. The limitations of this study are attributed to the sample size and specific focus on Islamic boarding school students in Cirebon. Further research is recommended to predict social entrepreneurial intentions among a larger cohort of Islamic boarding school students by incorporating practical business activities. This study underscores the importance of integrating entrepreneurship education into the curriculum of Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia

The purpose of this paper is to examine students' entrepreneurial intentions in the Muslim community in the city of Bandung from the aspect of Islamic values mediated by entrepreneurial attitudes. The Grand Theory used was Ajzen's Theory of Planned Behavior. A total of 220 students from the Muslim community in Bandung City collected data using a questionnaire, a five-point numerical scale. Meanwhile, data analysis using Regression Analysis results identified that Islamic values had a positive and significant effect on social entrepreneurship intentions, while entrepreneurial attitudes mediated the influence of these two variables. The limitations of this study lie in the number of samples and students from the Muslim community in the city of Bandung only. It is suggested to predict the social entrepreneurship intention of Islamic boarding school students in the larger community in the city of Bandung and examine variables other than Islamic values and other SDG components. This study strongly suggests the need to include aspects of creativity in learning in Islamic boarding schools

Integrating Systems Thinking and Islamic Principles for Sustainable Development: A Case Study of South Papua, Indonesia

This study explores the use of a systems thinking approach to analyze the interactions between economic, social, and environmental factors in achieving sustainable development in South Papua, a newly established province in Indonesia. The research aims to address the primary issue of fragmented policy approaches that fail to account for long-term impacts and intersectoral linkages. Using a qualitative exploratory design, primary data was collected through Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with local stakeholders, while secondary data was obtained from government reports and academic literature. Thematic analysis and causal loop diagrams (CLD) were employed to identify dynamic interactions and leverage points for policy interventions. Key findings highlight that economic growth is contingent upon sustainable natural resource management and human resource development, with feedback loops revealing the potential for synergies and trade-offs between Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). System archetypes such as "Shifting the Burden" and "Tragedy of the Commons" were identified, underscoring the need for policies that consider long-term impacts and equitable resource distribution. The integration of Islamic principles of justice and responsibility offers additional guidance for addressing these systemic challenges. The study concludes by providing holistic policy recommendations for sustainable development in South Papua, contributing both to academic literature and practical policymaking

Abstract This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Murabahah contract in Home Ownership Loans (KPR) by Islamic banks in Indonesia against Sharia principles. A qualitative analysis revealed that while the Murabahah contract is widely used, several practices do not fully comply with Sharia principles. These non-compliant practices include schemes resembling riba, selling products not yet owned, and inconsistencies in project management by Islamic banks. The findings indicate that adherence to Sharia principles significantly impacts customer trust and satisfaction, thereby affecting customer loyalty to Islamic banks. The study highlights the necessity for increased supervision and stricter application of Sharia principles in property transactions. The Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS) and transparency in reporting are crucial for maintaining integrity and trust in Islamic financial institutions. This research significantly contributes by identifying areas requiring improvement to ensure full compliance with Sharia principles in the property business, providing a solid foundation for developing Sharia-compliant property business practices
