A Bibliometric Analysis of Research on Human Trafficking: A Focus on the United Nations Framework and the Sustainable Development Goals
Full text linkThis study analyzes how the academic literature reflects and engages with the fight against human trafficking (HT) in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It adopts a two-pronged approach: examining how specialized literature addresses the UN’s role in HT, and exploring the contribution of the SDGs. A bibliometric analysis using Bibliometrix and Biblioshiny was conducted on Web of Science articles. Results show research is concentrated in Western countries, revealing a need to boost capacity in affected regions. The thematic analysis highlights the relevance of governance, institutional frameworks and international cooperation
Arte y sostenibilidad en Educación Primaria: Un enfoque artístico para la reflexión sobre la vida en los ecosistemas terrestres
Full text linkThis Artistic Educational Project aims to promote critical thinking, creativity, and awareness of eco-social issues related to terrestrial ecosystems. Thus, an interdisciplinary approach is proposed, integrating the areas of Artistic Education, Spanish Language and Literature, and Environmental, Social, and Cultural Knowledge. Based on Sustainable Development Goal 15: Life on Land, students reflect through artistic creation, dialogue, and reading.
The project is also being carried out in a school in Granada with a group of 24 third-grade primary school students. Using the book Wangari\u27s Trees of Peace and a collective reflection on life in terrestrial ecosystems as a starting point, the participating students create a narrative collage illustration, following the various phases of the artistic creation process. To this end, the work of the artist Carlota Gómez Touet serves as a reference for the creative process. The proposal concludes with the presentation of the final illustrations and a collective reflection on them.
The project highlights the potential of Artistic Education, from an interdisciplinary perspective with other areas, to promote the development of critical thinking and raise awareness of eco-social challenges, such as the preservation of life in terrestrial ecosystems.Este Proyecto Educativo Artístico tiene como principal objetivo promover el pensamiento crítico, la creatividad y la concienciación sobre problemáticas ecosociales relacionadas con los ecosistemas terrestres. Así pues, se plantea una propuesta interdisciplinar que integra las áreas de Educación Artística, Lengua Castellana y Literatura y Conocimiento del Medio, Social y Cultural. Basándose en el Objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible 15: Vida de ecosistemas terrestres, el alumnado reflexiona a través de la creación artística, el diálogo y la lectura.
Asimismo, el proyecto se lleva a cabo en un colegio de Granada con un grupo de 24 estudiantes de tercero de Educación Primaria. De esta forma, a partir del libro Wangari: y los árboles de la paz y la reflexión conjunta sobre la vida en los ecosistemas terrestres, el estudiantado participante crea una ilustración narrativa a través de la técnica del collage, siguiendo las diferentes fases del proceso de creación artística. Para ello, la obra de la artista Carlota Gómez Touet se toma como referente para el proceso creativo. La propuesta concluye con la presentación de las ilustraciones finales y reflexión conjunta de las mismas.
El proyecto incide en las posibilidades de la Educación Artística, desde un enfoque interdisciplinar con otras áreas, para la promoción del desarrollo del pensamiento crítico y la sensibilización en torno a desafíos ecosociales, como la preservación de la vida en ecosistemas terrestres
Léxico en el inventario de una tienda de vestidos de alquiler para el teatro (Valladolid, 1615)
No full textThe Provincial Historical Archive of Valladolid contains unpublished inventories from the 17th century that let us study the lexicon of this century, which is the purpose of the Corpus Léxico de Inventarios (Inventories Lexical Corpus) (CorLexIn). One of them will be the central axis of this article, which collects rental costumes for the theatre from a shop, whose date is 1616. The aim of this work is, therefore, to delve into the world of the Golden Age theatre costumes through this inventory to learn about the clothes that were common in dramatic scenery in Valladolid at the beginning of this century.El Archivo Histórico Provincial de Valladolid contiene inventarios inéditos del siglo xvii que sirven para estudiar el léxico de esta centuria, que es el propósito del proyecto Corpus Léxico de Inventarios (CorLexIn). Uno de ellos va a ser el eje central de este artículo, que recoge de una tienda vestidos de alquiler para el teatro y que data de 1615. El objetivo de este trabajo es, por tanto, adentrarnos en el mundo del vestuario del teatro del Siglo de Oro a través de este inventario para conocer las vestimentas que eran habituales en la escenografía dramática en Valladolid a principios de esta centuria
Neonimia y desarrollo sostenible: la creación de nuevos términos en ámbitos específicos de la comunicación especializada
Full text linkThis study addresses neonimia in the specialized field of sustainable development, exploring how new terms reflect innovation in tackling environmental challenges in connection with the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the UN in 2015. In this context, ten neonyms are analyzed: agrourbano, agualidad, basuraleza, bicisalud, bioconstrucción, biorresiduos, ecoactivista, ecoalimentación, ecocidio, and ecomovilidad. extracted through the TermosStat Web 3.0. Although these terms originated in specialized fields, they have transcended into common language, as evidenced by the consulted resources BOBNEO and CORPES XXI. This highlights the integration of technical language into society.Este estudio aborda la neonimia en el ámbito especializado del desarrollo sostenible, en el que se explora cómo los nuevos términos reflejan la innovación con respecto a los desafíos medioambientales en conexión con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) adoptados por la ONU en 2015. En este contexto, se analizan diez neónimos: agrourbano, agualidad, basuraleza, bicisalud, bioconstrucción, biorresiduos, ecoactivista, ecoalimentación, ecocidio y ecomovilidad, extraídos a través del programa TermoStat Web 3.0, que, a pesar de surgir en sectores específicos, han transcendido su uso a la lengua común, tal y como demuestran los recursos consultados BOBNEO y CORPES XXI, lo que evidencia la integración del lenguaje técnico en la sociedad

No full textThe article traces a historical overview of folklore studies in Morocco within the framework of cultural relations between both shores of the western Mediterranean. It begins with a review of the early interest in popular tradition, focused on the collection of proverbs in Andalusi and Maghrebi contexts, and continues with an analysis of the first modern compilations produced by European authors based in Morocco. It also examines the role of specialized journals, institutions devoted to intangible heritage, and recent university programs, highlighting the progressive consolidation of this field in the country.El artículo traza un recorrido histórico sobre los estudios de folklore en Marruecos, dentro del marco de las relaciones culturales entre ambas orillas del Mediterráneo occidental. Se comienza con una revisión de los orígenes del interés por la tradición popular, centrado en la recopilación de proverbios en contextos andalusíes y magrebíes, y se continúa con el análisis de las primeras compilaciones modernas elaboradas por autores europeos asentados en Marruecos. Se examina además el papel de revistas especializadas, instituciones dedicadas al patrimonio inmaterial y programas universitarios recientes, destacando la progresiva consolidación de este campo en el país

It examines the transformative potential of neurotechnology, especially write-in BCIs that intervene directly in brain activity. Drawing from Ortega y Gasset’s zoon technikon and Parfit’s theory of personal identity, it reflects on how these systems may blur agency and self-continuity. The text also addresses the EU regulatory framework and the theory of neurorights. Using Ulysses on the Ship of Theseus as metaphor, it advocates preventive governance based on ethics, human rights, and informed, autonomous consent
Indigenous Peoples and Climate Justice: Advisory Opinion 32/25 of the INTER-American Court of Human Rights and the Opinion of the International Court of Justice on the Obligations of States in relation to Climate Change
No full textThis paper explores how two 2025 Advisory Opinions, the Inter-American Court of Human Rights’ OC-32/25 and the International Court of Justice’s opinion on climate change, address indigenous peoples’ rights. Both recognise climate change as an existential threat but adopt contrasting approaches. The ICJ portrays indigenous peoples as vulnerable communities, without differentiated standards. Conversely, the IACtHR promotes a pro persona perspective, incorporating environmental democracy into its climate reasoning, recognising eco-anxiety, and equating indigenous knowledge with scientific evidence. Through comparative and critical analysis, this paper argues that while the ICJ reinforces universal obligations, the Inter-American Opinion operationalises them, providing stronger protection for indigenous identity and territorial rights
Teacher Training as an Obligation to Prevent Sexual Violence against Children: Meeting International Standards
No full textThis paper holds that teacher training constitutes a binding preventive obligation arising from Articles 19 and 34 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, Article 5 of the Lanzarote Convention, and Article 23(3) of Directive 2011/92/EU. Subsequently, the main international standards behind of it are identified, encompassing requirements for initial and continuous certification, detection and reporting capacities, and regular evaluation. Analysis of the level of compliance with this obligation reveals a context of shortcomings that has led to the implementation of civil society initiatives aimed at reducing the gap. In this context, the article briefly presents a local teacher training project on the prevention of sexual violence as a good practice that can be replicated
Reinterpretando “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao”: La hija ‘Educada’ y la Reparación Intergeneracional en Escape y The Island of Lost Girls de Manjula Padmanabhan
No full textThis article analyses Manjula Padmanabhan’s Escape and The Island of Lost Girls to explore the equation between daughterhood and education, with a special focus on the entanglement of the parental figures in such an equation. In the two novels, the trajectories of Meiji and her uncle(s), especially Youngest, later revealed to be her biological father, offer the scope of such an inquiry. The article reflects on the question of formal education that shapes Meiji’s daughterhood in relation to the parental figures in the novels. Moreover, the study deciphers the significant reverberations of corporeal knowledge in Padmanabhan’s writings, a subversive narrative trope that is normatively eliminated in the shaping of daughter-father relationships, especially in the Indian context. It also traces the trajectory of the educated daughter towards intergenerational reparation, a trajectory that is congruent with the question of hope as a form of resolution in a critical dystopia. Such discussions about the educated daughter also relate to the novel of education or Bildungsroman as a genre, reconfigured through genre-blurring as a measure for writings of critical dystopia. In doing so, the article juxtaposes Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao (BBBP), or Save the Daughter, Educate the Daughter, initiative within the Indian socio-political context with the content of the novels where the interfaced education of the beti (daughter) and the beti’s father becomes significant. Apart from the concepts of critical dystopia and Bildungsroman, the study finds resolutions in theories of sensuous knowledge and intergenerational reparation.
Este artículo analiza Escape y The Island of Lost Girls, de Manjula Padmanabhan, para explorar la ecuación entre la condición de hija y la educación, con especial atención al entrelazamiento de las figuras parentales en dicha ecuación. En ambas novelas, las trayectorias de Meiji y de su(s) tío(s), en especial Youngest, posteriormente revelado como su padre biológico, abren el campo para tal indagación. El artículo reflexiona sobre la cuestión de la educación formal que configura la condición de hija de Meiji en relación con las figuras paternas/parentales en las novelas. Además, el estudio descifra las importantes resonancias del conocimiento corporal en la escritura de Padmanabhan, un tropo narrativo subversivo que suele eliminarse normativamente en la configuración de las relaciones hija-padre, especialmente en el contexto indio. Asimismo, traza la trayectoria de la hija educada hacia la reparación intergeneracional, trayectoria congruente con la cuestión de la esperanza como forma de resolución en una distopía crítica. Estas discusiones sobre la hija educada se vinculan también con la novela de formación o Bildungsroman como género, reconfigurado mediante la difuminación de géneros como recurso en las escrituras de la distopía crítica. En este sentido, el artículo yuxtapone la iniciativa Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao (BBBP), Save the Daughter, Educate the Daughter [“Salva a la hija, educa a la hija”], en el contexto sociopolítico indio, con el contenido de las novelas, donde adquiere relevancia la educación interrelacionada de la beti y del padre de la beti. Además de los conceptos de distopía crítica y Bildungsroman, el estudio halla vías de resolución en las teorías del conocimiento sensorial y de la reparación intergeneracional
