DAMPAK PANDEMI COVID-19 TERHADAP DUNIA USAHA DI KOTA TANJUNGBALAI (STUDI DINAS KETENAGAKERJAAN KOTA TANJUNGBALAI
Pandemi Covid-19 yang melanda Indonesia sejak awal tahun 2020 telah memberikan dampak luar biasa terhadap seluruh sektor kehidupan, terutama ekonomi dan dunia usaha. Di Kota Tanjungbalai, yang didominasi oleh sektor usaha kecil dan menengah (UKM), dampaknya sangat terasa; banyak usaha terpaksa menghentikan operasional, mengalami penurunan omzet, bahkan melakukan pemutusan hubungan kerja (PHK) dan merumahkan pekerja tanpa upah. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak pandemi terhadap dunia usaha di Tanjungbalai serta menelaah peran Dinas Ketenagakerjaan dalam merespons persoalan ketenagakerjaan yang muncul selama krisis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode empiris dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, melalui wawancara terhadap pelaku usaha, pekerja, dan pejabat Dinas Ketenagakerjaan, serta didukung oleh data sekunder dari laporan pemerintah dan literatur ilmiah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pandemi secara langsung memengaruhi keberlangsungan usaha di sektor perdagangan, jasa, dan perhotelan, dengan dampak paling nyata berupa PHK massal, pemotongan jam kerja, dan penurunan kesejahteraan pekerja. Dinas Ketenagakerjaan merespons dengan pendataan tenaga kerja terdampak, mediasi hubungan kerja, dan pelaksanaan program padat karya serta bantuan sosial, meskipun terkendala oleh keterbatasan anggaran dan koordinasi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan kebijakan lanjutan yang lebih responsif dan terintegrasi agar proses pemulihan ekonomi di tingkat lokal dapat berjalan secara efektif dan berkelanjutan
Pemanfaatan Serat Pelepah Sawit Dan Resin Poliester Sebagai Bahan Pembuatan Papan Serat
Pemanfaatan limbah pertanian menjadi bahan baku industri merupakan langkah penting dalam mewujudkan pembangunan berkelanjutan. Salah satu limbah pertanian yang melimpah di Indonesia adalah pelepah sawit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi potensi serat pelepah sawit yang dikombinasikan dengan resin poliester sebagai bahan dasar pembuatan papan serat. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen laboratorium dengan variasi komposisi serat dan resin. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa serat pelepah sawit memiliki sifat mekanik yang memadai untuk digunakan sebagai pengisi papan serat, sedangkan resin poliester memberikan daya rekat dan kekuatan struktural. Produk yang dihasilkan memiliki karakteristik kekuatan lentur, ketahanan terhadap kelembapan, dan kepadatan yang sesuai dengan standar papan serat komersial. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa serat pelepah sawit dan resin poliester berpotensi sebagai alternatif bahan baku papan serat yang ramah lingkungan dan ekonomis
THE EFFECT OF GAME BASED LEARNING STRATEGY ON STUDENTS’ ABILITY IN WRITING RECOUNT TEXT AT GRADE X SMAN 1 AIR JOMAN ACADEMIC YEAR 2023/2024
The purpose of this study was to determine there was an effect of game based learning strategy on students‘ ability in writing recount text at x grade of SMA 1 Air Joman in 2023/2024 academic year. This research was quantitative research with a two-group research design, experimental group and control group. The population in this research was all students of X Grade consisting of 4 classes. The sample of this research was taken from 33 students of experimental class (X IPA 2) and 33 students of control class (X IPA 3). The instrument for collecting data was writing test. The post-test was obtained with the average results of the experimental group 74,84 and the control group 66,57. T-test results obtained tscore = 5,40> ttable = 2.65 (at 1% significant level) or 2.00 (at 5% significant level). It means that Ha is accepted, thus it is obtained that there is an effect of game based learning strategy on students‘ ability in writing recount text at x grade of SMA 1 Air Joman in 2023/2024 academic year.Key word : Game Based Learning Strategy, Writing, Recount Tex

Abstract
This research aims to determine the significant Effect of Project Based Learning (PJBL) Model on Writing Descriptive Text Assisted with Canva Application. This research was Quantitative used a Quasi Experimental design. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Air Batu. The research population was all class X students\u27 of SMA Negeri 1 Air Batu for the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The sampling technique used random sampling with a total sample of 56 students, namely Experiment Class using PJBL Model assisted with Canva Application and Control Class using conventional media. Data collection instruments include Test, Treatment, and Observations. Before being given treatment, the mean pre-test score in the Experiment class was 60.6 and the Control class mean pre-test score was 52.7. After being given treatment, the mean post-test score for the Experiment class increased by 31.18% to 80.1, while in the Control class it increased by 20.8% to 63.7. The result of the analysis showed that t-score was higher than t-table 5.3 > 1.673 at the level of significance 0.05 with the degree of freedom (df) 54. It means that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Thus, there was an Effect of Project Based Learning (PJBL) Model on Writing Descriptive Text Assisted with Canva Application at Grade X of SMA Negeri 1 Air Batu

THE EFFECT OF TECHNOLOGY BASED LEARNING ASSISTED BY QUIZIZZ APPLICATION ON READING COMPREHENSION IN NARRATIVE TEXT
This research aims at investigating The Effect of Technology Based Learning assisted by Quizizz Application in Reading Comprehension in Narrative Text. This research was conducted by Experimental Research. The population of this research was the students at grade X of SMAN1 Air Joman. The total number of the population is 216 students in six class. There were 72 students chosen as the sample by using random sampling technique. The sample was divided into two group, namely control group and experiment group. The experiment group was taught by using Quizizz Application and control group was taught without using quizzes application. The instrument for collecting the data was multiple choice test. The data was analysed by using t-test formula. The alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. It means that is a significant effect of Technology based learning on reading comprehension at grade X of SMAN 1 Air Joman
PENGARUH MODEL PROJECT BASED LEARNING (PjBL) TERHADAP PENGGUNAAN BAHASA BAKU DALAM MENULIS TEKS OBSERVASI PADA SISWA KELAS VII MTs ALWASLIYAH LIMA LARAS TAHUN AJARAN 2024/2025
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap kemampuan penggunaan bahasa baku dalam menulis teks observasi pada siswa kelas VII MTs Alwashliyah Lima Laras Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain posstest only control design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini dadalah seluruh kelas VII yang terdiri dari 2 kelas yaitu berjumlah 40 siswa. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 40 siswa yang terbagi atas dua kelas, yaitu kelas VII-B terdiri atas 20 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan model konvensional dan kelas VII-A terdiri atas 20 siswa dengan menggunakan model Project Based Learning (PjBL). Teknik yang digunakan dalam penentuan sampel adalah teknik simple random sampling. Intsrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah essay test. Setelah pembelajaran selesai diberikan, diperoleh posttes dengan hasil rata-rata kelas eksperimen 86 dan kelas kontrol 74. Hasil uji t di peroleh = 7,89 > = 2,72, maka hipotesis nihil (Ho) ditolak dan hipotesis alternative (Ha) diterima. Dengan demikian, terdapat pengaruh model Project Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap kemampuan penggunaan bahasa baku dalam menulis teks observasi pada siswa kelas VII MTs Alwashliyah Lima Laras Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025.

MAKNA KEHIDUPAN DALAM LIRIK LAGU PADA ALBUM “SIALNYA HIDUP HARUS TETAP BERJALAN” KARYA BERNADYA: KAJIAN SEMIOTIKA FERDINAND DE SAUSSURE
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap makna kehidupan yang terdapat dalam lirik lagu pada album “Sialnya, Hidup Harus Tetap Berjalan” karya Bernadya melalui pendekatan semiotika Ferdinand de Saussure. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tanda-tanda yang merepresentasikan makna kehidupan, menganalisis hubungan antara penanda dan petanda, serta mengidentifikasi simbolisme, metafora, dan frasa dalam lirik lagu yang digunakan untuk menyampaikan pesan kehidupan. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan objek penelitian berupa lirik lagu dalam album yang dirilis pada 24 Juni 2024. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menelaah secara mendalam teks lagu tanpa terikat pada lokasi tertentu, namun dilakukan di Perpustakaan Universitas Asahan dan rumah peneliti di Kabupaten Simalungun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa makna kehidupan dalam lirik lagu Bernadya mencerminkan realitas emosional dan eksistensial manusia dalam menghadapi berbagai dinamika hidup seperti kehilangan, kekecewaan, penerimaan, dan harapan. Hubungan penanda dan petanda dalam lirik menunjukkan keterkaitan erat antara bentuk bahasa dan makna mendalam yang dikandungnya. Simbolisme dan metafora dalam lirik memperkuat penyampaian pesan bahwa hidup, meskipun penuh ketidakpastian, tetap harus dijalani.

PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DISCOVERY LEARNING BERBANTUAN APLIKASI NEARPOD TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEPMATEMATIS SISWA MTS
This study aims to test the effect of the discovery learning model assisted by the nearpod application on students\u27 mathematical concept understanding ability on circle material with sub-materials of circle elements, circumference and area of a circle. This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental method. The research location is MTs. Private MPI Bagan Asahan, the sampling technique is simple random sampling.. The research sample used was class VIII-A as a control class given conventional learning treatment and VIII-B as an experimental class given discovery learning model treatment assisted by the Nearpod application. The test instrument used was an essay question with a total of 4 questions that had been tested for validity, reliability, discriminatory power and level of difficulty of the questions. Before the learning began, a pretest question was given with an average result of the experimental class of 55.1333 and the control class of 51.42857. After the learning was completed, a posttest was obtained with an average result of the experimental class of 66.1667 and the control class of 57.4643. Also supported by the results of the hypothesis test, the results obtained were of 10.6075 and of 1.672522, the results showed that was greater than so that H.0 was rejected and H.1 was accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the discovery learning model assisted by the nearpod application on students\u27 mathematical concept understanding abilities

ANALISIS PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN CONTXTUAL TACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) BERBANTUAN APLIKASI QUIZLET TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA SMP
This study aims to explain the application of contextual learning model assisted by quiz applications in improving critical thinking using qualitative methods. The data source in this study is through research on students of SMP Negeri 1 SetiaJanji. Data collection techniques in this study by observation, interviews, critical thinking ability tests and documentation.Data analysis techniques through several stages, namely calculating the results of student tests, categorizing students based on the results obtained, analyzing student answers and calculating the success of students\u27 critical thinking abilities individually and as a whole class. The results show that as many as 25 students are obtained as many as 21 students had critical thinking abilities that are included in the "high" category, 1 student had critical thinking abilities that are included in the "moderate" category and 3 students had critical thinking abilities that are included in the "low" category. So that the level of critical thinking skills VIII – 1 thclass students of SMP Negeri 1 SetiaJanji in 2024/2025 Academic Year is 80%, which is include in the good category
Phonological acquisition in children aged 2;2 (psycholinguistic study)
Language acquisition in early childhood is a natural and systematic process that reflects a child\u27s cognitive and linguistic development. This study aims to describe the phonological acquisition of Indonesian vowel sounds by a 2-year-2-month-old child, focusing on the production of the five primary vowels /a/, /i/, /u/, /e/, and /o/ in initial, medial, and final word positions. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through observation and note-taking of spontaneous utterances in natural communication contexts. The findings reveal that the child had successfully acquired all five vowel phonemes, with dominant mastery of /a/, /i/, and /u/. The phonological acquisition process was characterized by simplification strategies, including omission, substitution, and assimilation. These strategies indicate that the child adapted to articulatory limitations by restructuring complex phonemes into simpler ones. The consistent use of vowel sounds demonstrates a universal pattern of phonological development influenced by both internal (physiological maturity) and external (linguistic environment) factors. This study contributes to psycholinguistic research and offers practical insight for educators and parents in supporting early language development and identifying potential language delays.This study is to analyze the acquisition of phonology, especially the acquisition of vowels in a child named Giwaldo Siburian, aged 2:2 (2 years 2 months). The method used is a descriptive qualitative method to describe the vowel sounds mastered by the respondents studied. Data were collected through recording techniques, note-taking techniques, and listening to conversation techniques, and analyzed through the stages of transcribing spoken language into written language, sorting out transcribed data, in the form of vowel acquisition and simplification processes, classifying data, interpreting data, analyzing and concluding data. The results of the study showed that children aged 2:2 have been able to pronounce vowel sounds [a, e, i, o, and u] perfectly. The simplification process is carried out by children predominantly with the aim that children can pronounce vowel sounds well. The first simplification process carried out is the omission process, which is the disappearance of complex sounds at the beginning of words, then the assimilation process replaces complex sounds with simple sounds, and the substitution process replaces complex or simple sounds that are easy to pronounce, and combines the two simplification processes. The results of this study have a positive impact on psycholinguistic learning, especially the topic of phonological acquisition
