    Efektivitas Penegakan Hukum dalam Penanggulangan Tindak Pidana Terorisme di Indonesia

    Countering terrorism in Indonesia continues to develop along with increasing dynamic and transnational threats. The amendment to Law Number 15 of 2003 to Law Number 5 of 2018 is the government\u27s response to the weaknesses of previous regulations in dealing with new patterns and modus operandi from terrorist groups. This research focuses on analyzing the effectiveness of existing regulations and the impact of changes in law in improving mechanisms for preventing, prosecuting and recovering from criminal acts of terrorism. The research method used is a qualitative approach using literature study techniques and legal document analysis to evaluate substantial changes in regulations and the implications of their implementation. The research results show that Law Number 5 of 2018 provides expanded authority to law enforcement officials, clarifies the definition of terrorism, and regulates preventive measures such as early detention and supervision of individuals or groups who have the potential to become perpetrators. However, even though this regulation is more comprehensive, its implementation still faces challenges, including overlapping authority between institutions, human rights issues, and the effectiveness of deradicalization programs. In conclusion, this regulatory change significantly increases the country\u27s capacity to tackle terrorism, but still requires strengthening coordination and balance between security aspects and protecting civil rights to ensure long-term effectiveness in eradicating terrorism in Indonesia.Penanggulangan terorisme di Indonesia terus berkembang seiring dengan meningkatnya ancaman yang bersifat dinamis dan transnasional. Perubahan Undang-Undang Nomor 15 Tahun 2003 menjadi Undang-Undang Nomor 5 Tahun 2018 merupakan respons pemerintah terhadap kelemahan regulasi sebelumnya dalam menghadapi pola dan modus operandi baru dari kelompok teroris. Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis efektivitas regulasi yang ada serta dampak perubahan undang-undang dalam meningkatkan mekanisme pencegahan, penindakan, dan pemulihan terhadap tindak pidana terorisme. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik studi literatur dan analisis dokumen hukum untuk mengevaluasi perubahan substansial dalam regulasi serta implikasi implementasinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Undang-Undang Nomor 5 Tahun 2018 memberikan perluasan wewenang kepada aparat penegak hukum, memperjelas definisi terorisme, serta mengatur tindakan preventif seperti penahanan dini dan pengawasan terhadap individu atau kelompok yang berpotensi menjadi pelaku. Namun, meskipun regulasi ini lebih komprehensif, implementasinya masih menghadapi tantangan, termasuk tumpang tindih kewenangan antar lembaga, isu hak asasi manusia, serta efektivitas program deradikalisasi. Kesimpulannya, perubahan regulasi ini secara signifikan meningkatkan kapasitas negara dalam menanggulangi terorisme, tetapi masih memerlukan penguatan koordinasi dan keseimbangan antara aspek keamanan dan perlindungan hak-hak sipil guna memastikan efektivitas jangka panjang dalam pemberantasan terorisme di Indonesia

    PERTANGGUNGJAWABAN PIDANA PENYALAHGUNAAN NARKOBA OLEH OKNUM POLRI ASAHAN

    Drug abuse by law enforcement officers, particularly members of the Indonesian National Police (Polri), is a phenomenon that not only violates the law but also tarnishes the institution\u27s image. The case of drug abuse by Polri officers in Asahan Regency is clear evidence of internal irregularities that threaten the credibility of law enforcement officers. This study aims to analyze the forms of criminal liability for Polri officers involved in drug abuse and examine the obstacles in law enforcement. The research method used is an empirical method with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were obtained through interviews with law enforcement officers, analysis of case documents, and direct observation. The results show that Polri officers proven to have abused drugs can be subject to criminal sanctions in accordance with Articles 112, 127, and 132 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, as well as disciplinary sanctions and the Polri professional code of ethics. However, obstacles still exist in the law enforcement process, such as institutional protection, power intervention, and minimal internal control. This study recommends strengthening the internal oversight function of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) and establishing a more assertive external accountability mechanism to maintain the integrity of law enforcement agencies. Penyalahgunaan narkoba oleh aparat penegak hukum, khususnya anggota Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia (Polri), merupakan fenomena yang tidak hanya melanggar hukum, tetapi juga mencoreng citra institusi. Kasus penyalahgunaan narkotika oleh oknum Polri di Kabupaten Asahan menjadi bukti nyata adanya penyimpangan internal yang mengancam kredibilitas aparat penegak hukum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk pertanggungjawaban pidana terhadap oknum Polri yang terlibat dalam penyalahgunaan narkotika dan menelaah kendala-kendala dalam penegakan hukumnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode empiris dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan aparat penegak hukum, analisis dokumen perkara, dan observasi langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa oknum Polri yang terbukti menyalahgunakan narkoba dapat dikenakan sanksi pidana sesuai dengan Pasal 112, 127, dan 132 Undang-Undang Nomor 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika, serta dijatuhi sanksi disiplin dan kode etik profesi Polri. Namun, masih ditemukan adanya hambatan dalam proses penegakan hukum, seperti perlindungan institusional, intervensi kekuasaan, dan minimnya kontrol internal. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan fungsi pengawasan internal Polri dan pembentukan mekanisme akuntabilitas eksternal yang lebih tegas agar integritas lembaga penegak hukum dapat terjaga

    THE EFFECT OF USING LETTER PUZLE GAME TO IMPROVE STUDENTS’ INTEREST IN LEARNING ENGLISH VOCABULARY

    The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is Effect of Using Letter Puzzle Game to Improve Students’ Interest in Learning English Vocabulary at Grade X Of SMA Swasta Tunas Harapan 2024/2025 Academic Year. This type of research is quasi experiment with two group pre-test and post-test research designs. The population in this study is the entire class X consisting of 2 classes totalling 50 students. There are 2 classes of research samples (class XA and XB) which are taken in random clusters. In class XA as an experimental class using the Letter Puzzle Game model and in class XB as a control class with a conventional learning model. After the learning was completed, the post-test was obtained with an average result of the experimental class of 87.6 and the control class of 58.58.     This research aims to see the effect of using guessing game technique to vocabulary mastery at x grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Air Joman in 2024 /2025 Academic Year. This research belongs to quantitative research. The population are the students at X grade of SMA N 1 Air Joman consists of 6 classes. There are 36 students chosen as the sample by using random sampling technique. The sample is divided into two groups. Namely control group and experiment group. The experiment group was taught by using guessing game technique and control group was taught without using guessing game technique. The instrument in collecting the data was Multiple choice. The data was analysed by using t-test formula, It means that alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. Based on the finding of this research, it was found that is a significant effect of guessing game technique to vocabulary mastery at x grade students of SMAN 1 Air Joman

    THE EFFECT OF PROBLEM BASED LEARNING MODEL ON STUDENTS’ ABILITY IN NARRATIVE READING AT GRADE XI OF SMA NEGERI 1 SEI KEPAYANG IN ACADEMIC YEAR OF 2024/2025

    This study investigates the effect of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on students\u27 ability in narrative reading at Grade XI of SMA Negeri 1 Sei Kepayang during the 2024/2025 academic year. The research employed an experimental design with two groups: an experimental group taught using the PBL model and a control group taught using conventional methods. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests to assess students’ narrative reading skills. The findings showed that students in the experimental group demonstrated a significant improvement in reading comprehension, particularly in identifying main ideas and understanding narrative structures. The mean post-test score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group, indicating that the PBL model effectively enhances students’ engagement, motivation, and reading achievement. The results indicated a significant improvement in the experimental group’s narrative reading skills, with a mean post-test score of 78.27 compared to the control group\u27s 57.58. A t-test was conducted to determine the statistical significance of the difference, and the result showed that t-count > t-table, thus the null hypothesis (Ho), which states that there is no effect of the PBL model on students\u27 narrative reading ability, was rejected. The study concludes that the PBL model positively influences students\u27 narrative reading skills and suggests its broader application in English language teaching

    REPRESENTASI FEMINISME RADIKAL PADA NOVEL PAYA NIE KARYA IDA FITRI BERDASARKAN KAJIAN SOSIOLOGI SASTRA

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis representasi feminisme radikal dalam novel Paya Nie karya Ida Fitri melalui pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Fokus kajian diarahkan pada bentuk-bentuk diskriminasi sosial, kekerasan dan pelecehan seksual, serta eksploitasi perempuan yang dialami tokoh-tokoh perempuan dalam novel tersebut. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh maraknya ketidakadilan gender dan penindasan terhadap perempuan dalam masyarakat, khususnya yang terjadi dalam konteks konflik Gerakan Aceh Merdeka (GAM). Novel Paya Nie dipilih karena secara eksplisit menggambarkan penderitaan dan ketidakberdayaan perempuan akibat budaya patriarki dan situasi konflik bersenjata di Aceh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi terhadap teks novel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa novel Paya Nie merepresentasikan berbagai bentuk ketidakadilan gender, seperti diskriminasi sosial, kekerasan fisik dan seksual, serta eksploitasi perempuan, yang semuanya mencerminkan dominasi patriarki dan marjinalisasi perempuan. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya kajian feminisme dalam sastra Indonesia serta menjadi referensi bagi penelitian selanjutnya dan pengembangan bahan ajar sastra terkait isu-isu gender dan feminisme radikal dalam karya sastra Indonesia modern.     ANALISIS GAYA BAHASA PADA LIRIK LAGU GALA BUNGA MATAHARI MELALUI KAJIAN STILISTIKA

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis jenis-jenis gaya bahasa yang digunakan dalam lirik lagu “Gala Bunga Matahari” karya Sal Priadi serta mengungkap makna yang terkandung di dalamnya melalui pendekatan stilistika. Lagu ini dipilih karena kekayaan unsur estetikanya, khususnya dalam penggunaan gaya bahasa yang puitis dan khas, yang memperlihatkan ciri kebahasaan personal sang musisis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan data utama berupa lirik lagu yang diambil dari kanal YouTube resmi Sal Priadi, serta data sekunder dari berbagai referensi ilmiah terkait teori gaya bahasa menurut Gorys Keraf. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dua kategori utama gaya bahasa dalam lirik lagu ini, yaitu gaya bahasa retoris dan gaya bahasa kiasan. Dari 21 jenis gaya bahasa retoris yang diidentifikasi berdasarkan teori Keraf, sebanyak 15 gaya ditemukan dalam lirik lagu. Sementara itu, dari 16 gaya bahasa kiasan, sebanyak 14 jenis ditemukan dalam teks lagu. Gaya bahasa yang dominan adalah metafora, personifikasi, hiperbola, dan repetisi, yang berfungsi untuk memperkuat nilai emosional, membangun citraan puitis, dan menyampaikan pesan moral secara implisit. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Sal Priadi secara sadar memanfaatkan kekuatan stilistika untuk menciptakan karya lirik yang tidak hanya estetik, tetapi juga komunikatif dan sarat makna.     Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Brain Based Learning (BBL) Berbantuan Educandy Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Pada Materi Perbandingan Senilai dan Berbalik Nilai Di kelas VII MTS Al-Washliyah 63 Punggulan Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian two group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas VII di MTS Al-Washliyah 63 Punggulan yang terdiri dari 2 kelas. Sampel penelitian ada 2 kelas (kelas VII-A dan VII-B) yang diambil secara purposive sampling. Pada kelas VII-A sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan metode Brain Based Learing (BBL) dengan Educandy dan pada kelas VII-B sebagai kelas kontrol dengan metode pembelajaran langsung. Setelah pembelajaran selesai diberikan, diperoleh posttest dengan hasil rata-rata kelas eksperimen 85,98 dan kelas kontrol 69,82. Hasil uji t diperoleh  maka  diterima yang mana terdapat pengarh Model Brain Based Learning (BBL) berbantuan Educandy Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Di kelas VII Mts Al-Washliyah 63 Punggulan

    PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN NHT BERBANTUAN YOUTUBE EDUCATION TERHADAP KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS SISWA

    This study aims to determine whether the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type cooperative learning model affects students\u27 mathematical communication skills assisted by the YouTube Education application for seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Sei Kepayang Barat. This research uses the Quasi Experiment technique which is included in the quantitative research method. In addition, this study found that the samples used were normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of data analysis showed that the instruments used were valid and reliable. The population in this study were seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sei Kepayang Barat, with a research sample consisting of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The instrument used was a test. The results showed that the mathematical communication skills of students who applied the NHT learning model assisted by the YouTube Education application were better than students who used the conventional learning model, with an experimental class average of 17.04, higher than the control class average of 11.68

    PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN RME BERBANTUAN APLIKASI DESMOS TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS MATEMATIS

    This study aims to determine whether the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) learning model has an effect on students\u27 mathematical critical thinking skills assisted by the Desmos application in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Silau Laut. This study uses the Quasy Experiment technique which is included in the quantitative research method. In addition, this study found that the samples used were normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of data analysis show that the instruments used are valid and reliable. The population in this study were class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Silau Laut, with a research sample consisting of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The instrument used was a test. The results show that the mathematical critical thinking skills of students who apply the RME learning model assisted by the Desmos application are better than students who use the direct learning model, with an average of the experimental class of 79,2 higher than the average of the control class of 46,6
