TEKNIK SURVEI SITUS TERBUKA
In this paper, it is hoped that this does not merely present survey techniques on open sites which may have been discussed by many experts and have been applied to archaeological researches in Indonesia. However, it is also hoped that they will be able to find alternatives to the application of appropriate survey techniques for an archaeological research. For this reason, it is suggested that there are specific themes in archaeological research, so that it is not just artefactual research.

TEKNIK WAWANCARA DALAM STUDI ETNOARKEOLOGI
In the context of ethnoarcheology, the data needed is as much information as possible about concepts and perceptions, therefore it is emphasized on data collection through informants, not on respondents. These two things are very important, because they have very different implications. Informants are people who can provide the widest possible information based on their cultural perceptions. Meanwhile, the respondent is the person who responds to the researcher, so that the data obtained is in accordance with the wishes / concepts possessed by the researcher. Meanwhile, the data needed is to bridge the material culture that was left behind in the form of information, so it would be more appropriate to use informants. There are conditions that must be fulfilled as a good informant in research. Indeed, ideally the conditions that will be discussed below meet all the requirements, but if they are not completely met, it does not reduce the validity of the data / information required.

ANALISIS ARKEOBOTANI DALAM PENELITIAN ARKEOLOGI
Flora residue in any form for archaeological studies will generally be directly related to past humans, namely regarding food sources, plant cultivation or agricultural culture, and technology. The rest is related to past environmental and vegetation problems (archaeo-ecology), dating interests, climatology, and others. Experts have developed many techniques and methods for handling the findings of flora residue. However, the Puslit Arkenas has not been fully utilized, this is in addition to limited human resources as well as its supporting tools. Efforts to overcome deficiencies can be done through cooperation with external parties.

MEGALITIK DI SITUBONDO DAN PENGARUH HINDU DI JAWA TIMUR
Based on the chronology of the development of megalithic culture in Situbondo, it can be seen that at least around the 5th century (according to carbon dating) there was even a long time before, that the megalithic tradition had taken root and continued to develop much later until the 15th century AD or maybe more after the collapse of the kingdom with Hinduism characteristics (Majapahit) in the East Java region. Megaliths as a tradition and the original belief of the Indonesian people do not seem to be easily shifted by external (foreign) religious influences. In general, the influence of foreign religions is only attached to the community within the palace or society that is included in the reach of the reins of government, while those outside are not affected by these elements. If you pay close attention, it seems that the people who support the megalithic tradition always build a fairly broad community.

TATA RUANG ETNIS DAN PROFESI DALAM KOTA BATAVIA (ABAD XVII - XVIII)
The settlement of ethnic groups in Batavia was determined apart from the environment that supported the profession, as well as matters of race and religion as well as effectiveness in mobility. For example, ethnic groups who work as traders are placed or live near the commercial area. Groups that work as administrative staff are placed in the downtown area, which is the central government area, while groups that work in the agricultural and plantation sectors as well as groups deemed to have the potential to pose a security threat are placed in suburban areas.

ARTEFAK TULANG SITUS GUA BABI (KALIMANTAN SELATAN): VARIASI TIPOLOGIS DAN TEKNOLOGISNYA
This site was first discovered in 1995 by a team from the Balai Arkeologi Banjarmasin together with the Puslit Arkenas when carrying out an exploratory survey in the Meratus Mountains. Observation of the ground surface in the cave shows an indication of archaeological data that needs further research. Then continuously, the Banjarmasin Archeology Center carried out excavations from 1996 to 1998. Based on this research, it has produced a number of archaeological data in the form of stone tools industry, bone artifacts, jewelry and pottery. Apart from artifactual data, the remains of fauna, mollusk shells and human components were also found.

ARSITEKTUR BANGUNAN RUMAH TRADISIONAL JAWA: KEBERADAAN BANGUNAN TRADISIONAL JAWA DI KAMPUNG KAUMAN, YOGYAKARTA
The existence of Kauman Village cannot be separated from the history and establishment of the Islamic Mataram Kingdom in the last period (starting from the Hamengku Buwana dynasty). In addition, Kauman is a part of the Mataram Kingdom bureaucracy. Several years after this kingdom was founded, it began to develop a place of worship (mosque). Finally, the building of this large mosque stood about 18 years after Prince Mangkubumi was inaugurated as a sultan with the title Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwana I. After this mosque was established, the kingdom then placed a royal ruler, a "penghulu". This leader is in charge of taking care of the operation of the mosque. This Penghulu occupies his house which is located north of the mosque. Later this place (home and office) was known as "pengulon". Thus pengulon this means the house and the environment where a royal ruler is located
PERMUKIMAN DAERAH PEDALAMAN DAN DAERAH PANTAI SITUS TEMPURSARI
Settlements in the coastal area follow a longitudinal pattern along the coast which can still be seen in the present village locations. Meanwhile, the ancient settlement pattern in a village has elements of a functional settlement pattern, namely a place to live, and a grave. A place of defense which is one of the elements of settlement, utilizing mountain rivers and oceans for this purpose
CANDI DAN KONTEKSNYA: TINJAUAN ARKEOLOGI-RUANG
Based on observations there is a pattern of the use of temple building materials at 29 sites spread across the alluvial plains and the Baturagung highlands (Ratu Boko hill area). The plateau is a source of agglomerate rocks. This type of rock was used by ancient humans for building materials for temples both on the alluvial plains and in the Baturagung plains. The research was conducted using an ecological-cultural approach that pays attention to the relationship between culture and the environment in an ecosystem
TATA RUANG MASYARAKAT PENDUKUNG TRADISI MEGALITIK: KASUS MASYARAKAT BADUY
The nature of archaeological data which is limited in quality and quantity has spurred us to strive to obtain, record and interpret these data. The farther the time span is from now, the more limited the data that reaches us. Data about prehistoric culture, for example, has very limited material, let alone interpret it. One of the efforts that can be done is to make an analogy to today's society that still carries out these prehistoric cultural traditions. This effort is often called an ethnographic or ethnoarcheological analogy. By looking at the practices that apply to the community, it is hoped that it can explain the meaning, function, and so on of the archaeological objects of the supporting community
