ARTI SIMBOLIS PAHATAN NAGA DI BAWAH CERAT YONI DARI SINGASARI
Yoni, which is made of andesite stone, also has different meanings. The stones for yoni from the production process can be classified into four types, namely: very young stones (bala), young stones (Yuya), middle stones (Madnya) and old stones (wreddha). In addition, it can also be classified into: male stones, female stones and neutral stones. Stone color also has its own meaning, namely: white symbolizes equality, red symbolizes glory, yellow symbolizes prosperity and black symbolizes fertility. Stone for yoni is usually a type of female stone. This fact is in accordance with the opinion that says that yoni is a female element. Most of the yoni is made of black andesite stones, this is in line with the meaning of yoni as a female symbol associated with fertility.

At the beginning of its existence, Pasuruan was a traditional city that developed due to the influence of the cultural centers that developed around it. These cultural centers include the Singasari Kingdom, the Blambangan Kingdom, the Majapahit Kingdom, and the Mataram Kingdom. In addition, there is a traditional port, which was developed due to the presence of traders from around Pasuruan. The traditional city is centered on a plaza with the regent's office located to the north of the square. Apart from the existence of the Grand Mosque which is located west of the square. Apart from local traders, there are also foreign traders. One of these foreign traders was the Netherlands. The Dutch traders then settled and subsequently made their own colonies according to their interests, namely to maintain their existence. With the presence of foreign traders who settled down, their settlements emerged - eventually becoming a city with all its facilities and amenities.

By applying a more systematic framework of thought, the results of archaeological research that are oriented to the region and the Bali region are expected to contribute to the study of the archipelago's culture. The above contributions can be in the form of information on ideological ideas as well as physical forms from the past that are still visible until now.

In their development, the role of celestial bodies has shifted from a religious function to a global function that tends to be profane, which includes social and political functions. However, the presence of a symbol representing an infinite character always exists as a generator of feelings of togetherness and a deeper attachment than just a verbal formulation
AWAL PERKEMBANGAN ISLAM DI PEDALAMAN JAWA BAGIAN SELATAN BERDASARKAN TINGGALAN BUDAYA ISLAM
In this paper, we will provide an overview of the development of Islam in the interior of southern Java and some Islamic cultural heritage, in the form of archaeological and historical remains that are thought to have existed since the beginning of the development of Islam in Java, (XV - XVI centuries AD). This is intended to prove that Islam, at the beginning of its development, also occurred in mountainous and hinterland areas.
