THE INFLUENCE OF A REVIEW TASK-BASED LITERACY LEARNING APPROACH ON STUDENTS' READING COMPREHENSION INTEREST AND LEARNING OUTCOMES
The aim of the research is to determine the effect of implementing review assignment-based literacy learning on reading comprehension learning outcomes for class V students at UPT SDN 1 Enrekang. This type of research is an equation experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The data collection methods used are learning outcomes tests to measure learning outcomes in reading comprehension, questionnaires to measure students' reading interest, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical approaches and inferential analysis. The results of the research on the application of review assignment-based literacy learning with a significance value of reading interest of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05 with the decision that there is an influence of the application of review assignment-based literacy learning to increase reading interest in class V students and the significance value of reading comprehension learning outcomes is 0.000 smaller than 0.05 with the decision that there is an influence of implementing review assignment-based literacy learning to improve reading comprehension learning outcomes in fifth grade student
HISTORY OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF SCIENCE
The type of research that the author uses is a type of qualitative research using a content analysis approach (Content Analysis), or what can be called a content study. This analysis is a research technique for making a conclusion or inference that can be replicated and the correctness of the data by taking into account the context. The object of this research is explored through various information in the form of books, interpretations, journals. The history of science, which is a long process of growth and development of science itself, cannot be separated from its existence. Something brand-new with characteristics specific to that era emerges at each stage of the development of science. The social dynamics of a cultural conflict have led to these characteristics. Obviously, this can't be isolated from different social, social and political impacts that create alongside the advancement of science itself. IMPLEMENTASI PENCEGAHAN KEJAHATAN TRANSNASIONAL DI WILAYAH INDONESIA MELALUI PENDEKATAN HUKUM KEIMIGRASIAN
ABSTRAKKejahatan transnasional adalah sebuah bentuk kejahatan yang memiliki potensi dalam mengancam kehidupan bermasyarakat baik regional maupun nasional. Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara dengan angka kejahatan transnasional yang tinggi dan sangat berpotensi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan atau normatif empiris dan metode penelitian yuridis. This study aims to determine the state's control authority over mineral mining businesses in Indonesia and what rights and obligations are granted by the state to holders of mining business permits in managing mineral mining. This study uses normative legal research methods. The results of the research and discussion formulate that the state's control authority over mining businesses is of course to support the creation of community welfare. This can be realized if the policies and management of mineral mining by the state through the government can be proven by the actions and decisions of the state or government that can be felt directly by the community. Meanwhile, the rights and obligations granted by the state to holders of mining business permits in managing mineral mining are in the context of supporting sustainable national development and ensuring the effectiveness of the implementation and control of mining business activities in an efficient, effective and competitive manner. MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PKn MENGGUNAKAN MODEL CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING DI KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR
Citizenship Education is one of the subjects that can improve the quality of Human Resources, especially students. The learning process is a very important factor in the formation of good personality and individual behavior. The research objective is to improve Civics learning outcomes using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model in grade IV SD Negeri 2 Taipabu. This type of research uses Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in stages starting from planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results showed that in the implementation of the learning outcomes of students who had achieved the KKM in cycle I were 13 students (59.1%) and who had not reached the KKM were 9 students (40.9%) with an average score of 62, so that they continued to cycle II, because it has not yet reached the indicator of success. In cycle II there were 18 students (81.8%) and those who had not reached the KKM were 4 students (18.1%) with an average score of 74. It can be concluded that applying the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model can improve student learning outcomes in class IV SD Negeri 2 Taipab
A DESCRIPTIVE STUDY ON STUDENTS’ SPEAKING ABILITY IN “DAILY CONVERSATION†CONTEXT AT HIGHER EDUCATION
Speaking is one of English skill that has been learnt from junior high school until higher education. It means that students in higher education should have good capability in doing speaking in all contexts, include in daily conversation context. For this reason, this study was designed to determine the extent to which students' ability in speaking especially in daily conversation context. This study took 22 students in Educational Faculty of Tompotika Luwuk University as the participants. Descriptive qualitative is a method that chosen in this study. The data have been collected from observation and documentation. Observation and documentation collected when the students doing conversation. The result of this study shows that the students’ speaking ability in daily conversation context can be categorized into “poorâ€. It was proven by the students who got only 18,18% in good category, 22,72% in average category, 40,92% in poor category, and 18,2% in very poor category. Finally, it can be conclude that the students’ speaking ability in daily conversation context at higher education of Educational Faculty of Tompotika Luwuk University categorized into poor
THE EFFECT OF PAIR TRAINING VARIATION ON THE SEPAK SILA SKILL OF TAKRAW ATHLETES
The skill of Sepak sila is one of the basic techniques in the game of takraw. The focus of this research is extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Palopo. The problem is the lack of variation in pair training. The purpose of this study is to determine whether or not there is an impact of variations in pair training on the sepak sila skills of the takraw extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Palopo. The term "quantitative research using experimental methods" refers to a method for determining, under controlled conditions, how one treatment affects another treatment. In SMA Negeri 1 Palopo there are 25 male students who take part in takraw extracurricular activities. Purposive sampling was used as a sampling method, meaning that each student will be included in the research sample based on the special considerations of the researcher. SPSS application program version 23 is used for data analysis methods. With a t = count 22.733, this value is greater than t = table 2.059 or t = count 22.733 > t = table 2.059, and the result is sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05. The results showed that there were variations in pair training for students' sepak sila skills in the extracurricular sepak takraw at SMA Negeri 1 Palopo. This shows that variations in pair training have a significant effect on the sepak sila skills of the takraw extracurricular students of SMA Negeri 1 Palopo. 059 or t = count 22.733 > t = table 2.059, and the result is sig. ANALYSIS OF FOREARMS PASSING BASIC MOVEMENTS IN VOLLEYBALL BY USING RESISTANCE BAND TOOLS
Passing down is very important to earn points, passing movement is done when receiving services and smashes from the enemy, passing that is not effective can result in defeat the team team. The purpose of this research is to improve the basic movement of passing under the volleyball game. This study used a quantitative method experimentally with a one-group pre test and post test design. In conclusion, the average results of the analysis of the downward passing motion using the resistance band tools, the pretest results get an average value of 16.75 and the posttest results get an average value of 26.33. PERAN GURU DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER SISWA DI ERA MODERNISASI
The modernization era is an era where there is a change from traditional to advanced (modern) as it is today which can be seen from various aspects including education. In the era of modernization, the educational aspect focuses on character education. This is because character education has the aim of shaping the character of students to become good individuals and be able to keep up with the times, and it can be formed by the role of teachers. This study aims to be able to know and describe the role of teachers in shaping student character in the modernization era. The research method is carried out qualitatively, namely with a literature study approach (literature study). The results of this study show that the role of teachers in the field of education in an effort to shape the character of students in the modernization era as it is today is very important in order to realize the purpose of character education. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that shaping the character of students, is carried out with the efforts of the teacher so that they can shape the character of students into good individuals and are able to keep up with the times
PERSON FIT ANALYSIS FOR ASSESSING ACADEMIC WRITING PERFORMANCE USING RASCH MODEL
Assessing academic writing performance is a critical aspect of educational practices. The thesis is derived from writing is an essential skill that students need to develop to succeed academically and professionally. To fulfill this, the Rasch model offers important test statistics that play a crucial role in constructing tests related to evaluation and item selection problems, as well as in decision-making regarding the generated test scores. Building upon this narrative, this research is conducted with the aim of identifying person fit in assessing academic writing performance using the Rasch model. The sample in the form of essays was obtained from a group of 40 students who had previously undergone a six-month academic writing program. The data was then analyzed using Ministep 4.8.2.0 built for Rasch Model analysis. The analysis results indicated that there were 31 students in the person misfit category, suggesting a need to reconsider the appropriateness of the conducted treatment and whether there were other factors contributing to it. Additionally, a discrepancy was found in 5 students with persons misfit or overfit, and their better performance was observed on more difficult items, contrary to the Rasch model's profil
