POJOK BACA SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER GEMAR MEMBACA PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR
The character of reading enthusiasm is one of the fundamental aspects that needs to be developed from the elementary school level as a foundation for lifelong learning. However, the low reading interest of elementary school students remains a problem faced by the education sector in Indonesia. This condition has an impact on students’ low literacy skills, particularly in understanding texts, processing information, and developing critical thinking abilities. The lack of reading habits from an early age also causes students to be passive in the learning process and experience difficulties in understanding various subjects. In addition, the limited availability of literacy-supporting facilities in schools, such as the lack of interesting reading materials and less literate learning environments, further exacerbates students’ low reading interest. Therefore, strategic and sustainable efforts from schools are needed to foster a reading culture as an integral part of the educational process in elementary schools. This study aims to describe the role of reading corners as a medium for shaping the character of reading enthusiasm among elementary school students. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving teachers and elementary school students as research subjects. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the presence of well-managed reading corners, equipped with a variety of reading materials and supported by the active role of teachers, can increase students’ reading frequency and interest. Furthermore, reading corners contribute to the development of independent reading habits and the internalization of character values such as discipline, responsibility, and curiosity. Therefore, reading corners can be considered an effective literacy medium in supporting the formation of reading enthusiasm character among elementary school students
Penerapan model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) Berbantuan Media Flipbook Lebah untuk Meningkatkan Numerasi Anak Usia Dini
This study aims to improve the numeracy skills of early childhood children through the implementation of the "Lebah" digital flipbook media based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in Group A of Al Kautsar Bakti 2 Kindergarten, Madiun. The background of this study is based on initial findings that children's numeracy skills are still low, characterized by difficulties recognizing numbers, counting, matching quantities, and solving simple numerical problems. This condition is caused by numeracy learning that is still conventional, teacher-centered, and lacks contextual and engaging learning for children.
This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with the Kemmis and McTaggart model, implemented in two cycles. Each cycle included planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The study subjects were nine children aged 4–5 years. Data were collected through observation of learning activities, assessment of numeracy performance, anecdotal notes, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis to assess improvements in learning outcomes, and qualitative analysis to describe the process and children's engagement during learning.
The results of the study showed a significant increase in children's numeracy skills, from the category of Starting to Develop in the pre-cycle to Developing Very Well in Cycle II, with 85% of children achieving the criteria of Developing According to Expectations and Developing Very Well. In addition, the use of PBL-based flipbooks was able to increase children's engagement, motivation, and the quality of the learning process in a more concrete, contextual, and meaningful way. Thus, the PBL-based "Bee" flipbook media is effective as an innovative alternative in early childhood numeracy learning
THE CONCEPT OF TRUTH IN LANGUAGE USE: WITTGENSTEIN'S THOUGHTS AND IMPLICATIONS FOR ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING
This study aims to analyze the concept of truth in language use according to Ludwig Wittgenstein’s philosophical thought and its implications for English language teaching in EFL (English as a Foreign Language) classrooms. The research employs a qualitative approach using library research methods through the analysis of Wittgenstein’s works and recent academic literature in the fields of philosophy of language and pedagogy. Data were obtained from secondary sources, including relevant books and peer-reviewed journal articles, and analyzed using content analysis techniques. The findings indicate that Wittgenstein’s concept of “truth as use” directly influences a more communicative and contextual approach to English language teaching. The main finding reveals that a language-games-based approach enhances students’ communicative performance by balancing grammatical accuracy and social acceptability. Moreover, the results emphasize that learning evaluation should not only focus on propositional truth but also on functional truth, reflecting learners’ ability to use language appropriately in social contexts. Consequently, this research contributes theoretically by bridging Wittgenstein’s philosophy of language with modern pedagogical practices and offers a conceptual foundation for developing more pragmatic curricula and evaluation strategies in English language teaching
KAJIAN LITERATUR: PENDEKATAN REALISTIC MATHEMATICS EDUCATION (RME) DALAM PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN NUMERASI DI SD
This Systematic Literature Review aims to examine the effectiveness of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach in enhancing numeracy skills among Elementary School (ES) students. The study is motivated by the low global numeracy literacy of Indonesian students and the dominance of conventional mathematics teaching methods. The method employed is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), analyzing empirical research journals concerning RME and numeracy in ES published from 2018–2025. The synthesis results demonstrate that applying RME has a significant impact on improving students' numeracy literacy compared to conventional methods. RME is proven effective because it begins learning from realistic contexts, promotes active student involvement in guided reinvention, and links abstract concepts to daily life experiences. This improvement covers the ability to understand problem context, mathematical reasoning, and solving real-life problems. This review concludes that RME is a systematic and relevant learning strategy for strengthening ES students' numeracy, aligned with the demands of the Merdeka Curriculum
Evaluasi Kinerja Birokrasi Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Purwakarta dalam Peningkatan Mutu Layanan Pendidikan Era Otonomi Daerah
Improving the quality of educational services has become a major challenge for local governments in the era of regional autonomy, particularly regarding the effectiveness of bureaucratic performance. This study aims to analyze the performance of the Education Office bureaucracy in Purwakarta Regency in supporting the improvement of educational service quality. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document review. Research informants included structural officials, staff of the Education Office, and educational service users at the school level, selected using purposive sampling. The results indicate that the Education Office bureaucracy has implemented programs to improve service quality through procedural simplification, policy adjustments according to local needs, and coordination with educational units. However, challenges were identified, including limited human resource capacity, suboptimal internal coordination, disparities in service responsiveness across regions, and irregular outcome-based performance evaluation. The study concludes that strengthening the performance management system, enhancing human resource capacity, and improving cross-unit coordination mechanisms are crucial factors in enhancing bureaucratic effectiveness and service quality. These findings provide a basis for developing strategies to create a more responsive and sustainable educational bureaucracy.

Pengaruh Penerapan Model Teams Games Tournament TGT Dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar PAI di Fase F SMAN 2 Bayang Kecamatan Bayang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan
Hasil yang diperoleh dalam analisis deskriptif menggambarkan pengaruh penerapan model turnamen permainan tim TGT. Berdasarkan tabel distribusi frekuensi 4.9 terlihat bahwa sebagian besar siswa pada kelas tes tahap F1 berkualifikasi tinggi yaitu sangat memenuhi syarat. 13 siswa yang mendapat nilai antara 0f 95-100. Sementara itu, satu siswa berkemampuan rendah memperoleh nilai rata-rata 75-80. Dan siswa sedang adalah 12 dan nilai rata-rata adalah 90-95. Sekaligus di kelas kontrol fase F2. Berdasarkan tabel distribusi frekuensi pada poin 4.10 terlihat bahwa sebagian besar siswa termasuk dalam kisaran rata-rata, atau sedang. Sembilan siswa dengan rata-rata 80–85. Sebaliknya, empat siswa dengan keterampilan yang tidak memadai memperoleh nilai rata-rata antara 70 dan 75. Selain itu, lima siswa yang sangat berbakat menerima rata-rata 95–100. Berdasarkan analisis pengujian hipotesis deskriptif terlihat bahwa analisis deskriptif menghasilkan nilai sig sebesar 0,000 dan kurang dari 0,05 sehingga menyebabkan penolakan ho dan penerimaan ha. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan agama Islam menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran kooperatif Team Games Tournament (TGT). mempunyai pengaruh pembelajaran yang lebih signifikan. Selain itu keputusannya juga ditunjukkan pada tabel thitung >. Untuk mencari nilai pada tabel tersebut Nilai T pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 86,144 > 0,05 dan nilai T pada kelas kontrol (F2) sebesar 57,608 > 0,05 karena peneliti menggunakan tabel distribusi t dengan taraf a = 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil kedua poin tersebut yaitu 86 144 > 57 608. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Perhitungan tersebut digunakan untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament (TGT) terhadap hasil belajar PAI SMAN 2 Bayang, bayang piiri, pesiri Selatan Tahap F dapat dipertimbangkan
PENERAPAN MODEL PROJECT BASED LEARNING BERBANTUAN MEDIA GOOGLE EARTH PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPAS KELAS V UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN SPASIAL
The purpose of the study is to determine the improvement of the spatial appearance of IPAS class V Elementary School, the Classroom Action Research Approach (PTK) was chosen in this research to observe the development of spatial abilities of students in class V. The focus of the research is directed at improving the aspects of visualization, perception, orientation, and spatial relations in IPAS subjects. Learning transformation is carried out by applying the Problem Based Learning syntax supported by the use of Google Earth technology-based media requires a contextual approach and is able to develop critical thinking skills, conventional learning is less able to facilitate the visualization of spatial concepts in real terms. The limitations of conventional media in presenting landscapes and locations in three dimensions (3D) are obstacles in the development of students' Spatial Visualization and Spatial Orientation skills. The implementation of the Project Based Learning model with Google Earth media has implications for improving spatial skills. With the results of Cycle I from 78.3 Cycle II to 83.7. This increase is in line with the percentage of completeness or achievement which also increased from 78.3% to 83.7%. This improvement in the quality of spatial skills is also reflected in the distribution of individual grades of students with the highest scores experiencing an increase in the upper limit of students' abilities from a score of 88 to 94, this confirms that the Project Based Learning model with Google Earth media is effective in comprehensively understanding aspects of perception, visualization, orientation, and spatial relations in V SD class students
PERAN BUDAYA ORGANISASI SEBAGAI VARIABEL MODERASI DALAM MENINGKATKAN KINERJA GURU SMP DI KABUPATEN TEMANGGUNG
Teacher performance is a crucial determinant of educational quality; however, empirical evidence indicates that the performance of junior high school teachers, particularly English teachers in Temanggung Regency, has not yet reached an optimal level. This study aims to analyze the effects of work motivation, principal leadership, and emotional intelligence on teacher performance, as well as to examine the moderating role of organizational culture. The study employed a quantitative exploratory design. The population consisted of 149 public and private junior high school English teachers who are members of the Subject Teacher Working Group (MGMP) in Temanggung Regency. Using the Slovin formula, 109 teachers were selected through random sampling. Data were collected using a closed-ended questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS software. The analysis included descriptive statistics and outer model testing, covering convergent validity, discriminant validity, and construct reliability, all of which met criteria. Inner model testing assessed model fit, multicollinearity, and effect size, indicating that the model was fit and free from problems. The results show that work motivation, principal leadership, and emotional intelligence have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. Furthermore, organizational culture significantly moderates the relationship between these independent variables and teacher performance, thereby strengthening their influence. In conclusion, improving teacher performance is not solely determined by individual attributes and leadership quality, but is also influenced by the strength of school organizational culture. Therefore, fostering a collaborative and supportive organizational culture is an essential strategy for enhancing teacher performance in schools.
 
PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF MELALUI PENDEKATAN SCIENTIFIC APPROACH BERBANTUAN PUZZLE JIGZAW
This study aims to improve students' creative thinking skills through the use of the Scientific Approach assisted by jigsaw puzzles. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is implemented in two cycles, including the planning stage, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects are students at one level of education. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the use of the Scientific Approach assisted by jigsaw puzzles can improve students' creative thinking skills, as indicated by an increase in creativity indicators in each cycle. Thus, this approach is considered effective for application in learning
EFEKTIVITAS GAME-BASED LEARNING BERBANTUAN TEKA-TEKI SILANG PADA HASIL BELAJAR PENDIDIKAN PANCASILA
This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of a Game-Based Learning model assisted by crossword puzzles (GBL–TTS) in improving students’ learning outcomes in Pancasila Education. The study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The participants were divided into two groups: an experimental group that received instruction using the GBL–TTS model and a control group that was taught through conventional instructional methods. Data were collected through learning outcome tests and analyzed using prerequisite statistical tests followed by Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA). The results revealed a statistically significant difference in learning outcomes between the experimental and control groups, with a significance value of p < 0.001. These findings indicate that the implementation of GBL–TTS is effective in enhancing students’ learning outcomes in Pancasila Education. The integration of game elements and crossword puzzle media promotes more interactive learning, increases student engagement, and strengthens students’ mastery of basic concepts. Therefore, game-based instructional media grounded in Game-Based Learning principles can serve as a strategic alternative for developing innovative and meaningful Pancasila Education learning practices
