PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN AUGMENTED REALITY BERBASIS BUDAYA MELAYU RIAU DI SEKOLAH DASAR
Get PDFDi era digital, peran teknologi dan informasi komunikasi telah mengubah hampir setiap aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam dunia pendidikan. Kemajuan teknologi, juga membawa inovasi dalam menciptakan media pembelajaran yang inovatif. Salah satu media pembelajaran di era digital yaitu, augmented reality. Augmented Reality menawarkan solusi dengan menghadirkan visualisasi 3D, sehingga materi pembelajaran lebih mudah dipahami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran augmented reality berbasis budaya Melayu Riau di sekolah dasar yang valid dan praktis. Media pembelajaran augmented reality dikembangkan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian R&D dengan model ADDIE. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan penyebaran angket. Validasi produk dilakukan oleh tiga orang ahli yaitu ahli media, materi, dan bahasa dengan perolehan skor rata-rata keseluruhan 92,36% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil uji coba produk yang dilakukan kepada peserta didik memperoleh skor rata-rata keseluruhan 89,8% dengan kategori sangat praktis dan respon guru sebesar 95,3% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dan uji coba dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran augmented reality berbasis budaya Melayu Riau di sekoah dasar layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran
PERAN HUKUM DALAM MENJAMIN KEBEBASAN PERS: TINJAUAN TERHADAP UU ITE DAN ANCAMAN BAGI DEMOKRASI DI INDONESIA
Get PDFFreedom of the press is an important pillar in a democratic country, which makes it easier for the public to obtain accurate and relevant information, as well as to control government performance. However, in Indonesia press freedom has quite complicated challenges due to the emergence of the ITE Law (Information and Electronics Law). Therefore, this research aims to examine the role of law on press freedom, especially looking at the ITE Law and its impact on the democratic system in Indonesia. The method used in this research is literature study or library research using books, articles, journals and other related literature. The results of this research show that articles in the ITE Law, such as defamation and the spread of news whose truth is unclear (hoaxes), are often used to blame or harm journalists and media who are vocal about the performance of the government or certain groups. This causes a feeling of fear (chilling effect) which inhibits journalism and freedom of expression. Furthermore, this research examines that the use of the ITE Law will suppress press freedom which can cause loss of access to important information for society and political participation. This research suggests that there is a need for improvements in the ITE Law to clarify the limits on press freedom, as well as increase protection for journalists and media who carry out their duties according to the journalistic code of ethic

The approach used in this study is to use a descriptive qualitative approach with the Snowball Sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. Data are analyzed by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of the data using data triangulation techniques.
The results of this study indicate that the Background of Teachers in Utilizing Youtube Social Media in Learning at SMPN 1 Reteh Riau consists of three main reasons, the first is that it has become a demand of the times, the second can accelerate student understanding and the third is the flexibility of time and place. Then the practice of utilizing YouTube social media in Islamic Religious Education learning at SMPN 1 Reteh Riau consists of three main steps, the first is preparing computer equipment and ensuring internet network readiness, the second is determining the YouTube link according to the learning material and the third is playing videos and explaining the learning material. Meanwhile, the contribution of utilizing YouTube social media in increasing students' interest in learning in Islamic Religious Education subjects at SMPN 1 Reteh Riau consists of four most noticeable contributions, the first is increasing students' interest in learning, the second is accelerating students' understanding of the material being taught, the third is lightening the teacher's task and the fourth is creating a fun learning atmosphere

Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SDN Pasar Lama 6, focusing on the implementation of diagnostic assessments and differentiated learning. Diagnostic assessments are used as an initial step in identifying students' learning styles and mapping their interests, but the results are not always accurate because they are influenced by individual conditions when the assessment is carried out. Therefore, teachers conduct periodic evaluations to adjust learning strategies to be more effective. In implementing differentiated learning, schools implement heterogeneous student grouping to encourage collaboration and improve understanding of the material. The learning methods used vary, including inquiry models and project-based approaches, which allow students to be more active in the learning process. In addition, various supporting programs such as morning literacy, Healthy Friday, and milk drinking programs are implemented to improve students' well-being and learning motivation. Support from schools and teacher communities also plays an important role in the success of the implementation of the Independent Curriculum, where teachers actively participate in learning communities and training to improve their competencies. With the strategies implemented, it is hoped that the Independent Curriculum can run more optimally and provide a more meaningful learning experience for students
THE IMPACT OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ON THE TRANSLATION PROFESSION: A COMPETENCY-BASED ANALYSIS
Get PDFThis study explores the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the translation profession through a competency-based lens. It investigates how AI has changed the work pattern of translators and identifies both technical and non-technical competencies essential for translators to remain relevant in the AI era. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with professional translators who are members of the Indonesian Translators Association (HPI) in South Sulawesi. The findings indicate that while AI improves time efficiency and offers translation assistance, it still cannot replace human involvement in cultural and contextual translation aspects. The study highlights key skills required by translators such as CAT tool proficiency, post-editing capabilities, cultural awareness, critical and analytical thinking, decision-making, and endurance. These results provide practical implications for translator education and professional development in the age of automation

Get PDFThis thesis is motivated by the low level of students' understanding of mathematical concepts, particularly in the topic of fractions among fourth-grade elementary school students. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the GASING (Easy, Fun, and Enjoyable) Mathematics method on the conceptual understanding of mathematics among fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Meruyung. The research was conducted at SD Negeri Meruyung, located in Limo District, Depok City. The population of this study consisted of all fourth-grade students, with a total sample of 64 students. The instrument used was a post-test designed to measure students’ conceptual understanding of mathematics. This research employed a quantitative approach using an experimental method. The results indicated a significant effect of the GASING method on students’ mathematical conceptual understanding. This was evidenced by the results of the Independent Samples t-Test using SPSS 26, which showed a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. Based on the Levene’s Test for homogeneity, the results indicated that the variances between the two groups were different. Therefore, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. It can be concluded that the use of the GASING Mathematics method significantly influences the conceptual understanding of mathematics among fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Meruyung in the 2024/2025 academic year

However, in reality, students' critical thinking skills are still relatively low due to the monotonous teaching and learning process, the less than optimal use of learning media, and the learning media used are only conventional media and have not utilized technology as a learning medium that is in accordance with the development of current technological advances, so that it can actively involve students in the learning process to improve students' critical thinking skills. This study aims to examine the improvement of elementary school students' critical thinking skills through the development of interactive learning media using the project based learning (PJBL) learning model. The research method used is a literature study of journal articles related to interactive learning media, project based learning (PJBL) learning models and critical thinking skills. The data analysis technique used is qualitative analysis. The results of the study show that interactive learning media using the project based learning (PJBL) model is effective in improving elementary school students' critical thinking skills
PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN POWERPOINT INTERAKTIF PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPAS SISWA KELAS V DI SD INPRES PERUMNAS 2 KOTA KUPANG
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran PowerPoint interaktif pada mata pelajaran IPAS untuk siswa kelas V di SD Inpres Perumnas 2 kota Kupang, dengan fokus pada validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Permasalahan utama yang ditemukan adalah kurangnya media interaktif yang menarik, sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE, yang terdiri dari tahap analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket validasi ahli, respon siswa dan guru, serta tes hasil belajar siswa. Subjek penelitian melibatkan ahli materi, ahli media, guru, dan siswa kelas V SD Inpres Perumnas 2 kota Kupang. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa media ini memperoleh persentase 88,54% (sangat valid) dari ahli materi dan ahli media. Uji kepraktisan melalui angket guru dan siswa menghasilkan persentase 98,40% (sangat praktis). Keefektifan diukur dari hasil tes siswa setelah penggunaan media, dengan persentase ketuntasan 91,75% (sangat efektif). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran PowerPoint interaktif valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Dengan demikian, media ini cocok digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPAS kelas V di SD Inpres Perumnas 2 kota Kupang
