ANALISIS RENDAHNYA KEAKTIFAN PESERTA DIDIK PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPAS KELAS 3 SEKOLAH DASAR
Get PDFThis research was motivated by the low level of student activeness in IPAS learning in class III-C at SD Muhammadiyah 9 Surabaya. Most students still showed a lack of participation during the learning process. This study aims to describe the low student activeness in the IPAS learning process in grade III of elementary school. The research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The collected data were then analyzed through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that student activeness in IPAS learning remains low, as most students tend to be passive even though some have shown positive responses, thus requiring approaches that better encourage active participation

Get PDFThis study aims to describe the role of education in character formation in elementary school children and identify the forms of implementation and challenges faced in its implementation. Character education in elementary schools plays a strategic role because children are at the early stage of forming attitudes, values, and behaviors. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research subjects included elementary school teachers and students, while the research object focused on the implementation of character education in learning and school culture. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation to obtain comprehensive data. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, using triangulation of sources and techniques to maintain data validity. The results indicate that education plays a significant role in character formation in elementary school children through teacher role models, the integration of character values into the learning process, and the instillation of these values through school culture and non-academic activities. The dominant character values formed include discipline, responsibility, honesty, cooperation, and social awareness. Consistently implemented character education has a positive impact on students' social behavior and learning motivation. However, this study also identified several obstacles in its implementation, such as limited learning time, differences in family backgrounds, and suboptimal parental involvement. Therefore, synergy between schools, teachers, and parents is necessary for effective and sustainable implementation of character education, fostering character and noble morals in students
Persepsi Siswa Terhadap Layanan Digital di Perpustakaan SMA Negeri 10 Padang
Get PDFThis study aims to describe students' perceptions of digital services in the library of SMA Negeri 10 Padang. This study used a descriptive quantitative method. The population in this study were all 1,144 active students of SMA Negeri 10 Padang. The sampling technique used purposive sampling and obtained 92 respondents. The theory used in this study is the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The results show that SMA Negeri 10 Padang students have a positive perception of the use of digital services in the library. This is based on the results of data analysis on the perceived usefulness indicator, which obtained an average score of 3.05 and the perceived ease of use indicator, which received an average score of 3.22. Based on the average scores obtained, the perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use indicators are in the good category on an interval scale. This means that digital services in the SMA Negeri 10 Padang library are perceived positively by students in helping and facilitating information searches
ANALISIS PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF TERHADAP MINAT BELAJAR MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA SD
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the effect of using interactive video-based learning media on students' interest in learning mathematics at SDN Wonokerto 1. This study used a quasi-experimental design with two groups: an experimental group that used video media and a control group that used conventional learning methods. Data were collected through pretest and posttest questionnaires to measure students' interest in learning, which were then analyzed using a paired t-test. The results showed that there was no significant difference between the experimental and control groups, both in the pretest (t(23) = 0.200, p = 0.844) and posttest (t(23) = 0.268, p = 0.791) scores. Although there was a slight increase in learning interest in both groups, the use of video-based learning media did not have a significant impact on students' interest in learning mathematics. These results indicate that other factors such as students' internal motivation, teacher readiness, and duration of video media use need to be considered in order for this media to have a greater impact on learning
KEEFEKTIFAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN INKUIRI MELALUI PERCOBAAN SEDERHANA TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPAS SISWA KELAS IV SD NEGERI SIDOMULYO 01 PATI
Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the inquiry learning model through simple experiments on the learning outcomes of Science and Social Sciences (IPAS) in fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Sidomulyo 01 Pati. This study used a quantitative approach with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample consisted of 17 students. The results showed a significant increase in cognitive learning outcomes, where the pretest mean of 43.53 rose to 79.06 in the posttest, and classical mastery increased from 5.88% to 94.11%. The t-test analysis showed thitung (13.06) > ttabel (2.120). Significant effectiveness was also found in the affective aspect with an average score of 83.00 (Good category) and classical mastery of 82%. The psychomotor aspect showed an average score of 88.95 (Very Good category) with 100% classical mastery. Thus, the inquiry model through simple experiments is effective in improving cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning outcomes
EKSPLORASI PENGALAMAN GURU DALAM MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPAS DI SEKOLAH DASAR
Get PDFThis study aims to explore teachers' experiences in using information technology-based learning media in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) at elementary schools. Although the use of technology in education has developed rapidly, challenges in its implementation at the elementary school level, such as limited information technology infrastructure and teachers' digital competence, remain issues that need to be addressed. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design conducted at SDN Karangduak II. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observations, which were then analyzed using thematic analysis. The results show that despite challenges related to limited hardware and internet connectivity issues, the use of information technology in learning media for IPAS provides significant benefits in increasing student engagement and understanding. Teachers reported that information technology helps them explain abstract concepts and present materials in a more interactive manner. Despite some obstacles, teachers have adapted by making use of available devices, such as learning applications and digital media, and collaborating to enhance their digital skills. This study suggests that elementary schools should improve their information technology infrastructure and provide ongoing training for teachers to optimize the use of information technology in teaching and learning.

STUDI PADA PESERTA DIDIK HOMOSEKSUAL DI SMA KOTA PONTIANAK
Get PDFThe presence of homosexual students presents unique challenges in school guidance and counseling services. This study aims to describe the characteristics, causal factors, behavioral impacts, and the role of guidance and counseling teachers in assisting homosexual students at a senior high school in Pontianak City. Using a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study method, the research involved two homosexual students and four additional participants (BK teacher, homeroom teacher, and peers). Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Findings show that the subjects displayed gender non-conforming behaviors, identity conflicts, and selective social interactions. The causes were mainly psychological and social such as absence of a father figure, childhood trauma, and media influence. The impacts included psychological stress and limited interaction, though academic performance remained stable. BK teachers played a key role through individual counseling and by fostering an inclusive school environment

No full textThe rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 has significantly transformed higher education learning processes. One AI-based tool that has been increasingly utilized by students is ChatGPT, particularly as academic support in preparing presentations. This study aims to analyze the effect of using Artificial Intelligence (AI) ChatGPT on the presentation quality of students in the Civic Education (PPKn) Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Sriwijaya Palembang. This research employed a quantitative approach with an ex post facto design. The population consisted of 110 students, with 52 students selected as samples using proportional random sampling. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using normality tests, linearity tests, simple linear regression, correlation analysis, t-tests, and F-tests with the assistance of SPSS. The results indicate that the use of ChatGPT has a positive and significant effect on students’ presentation quality, with a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05) and a coefficient of determination of 29.7%. These findings suggest that ChatGPT contributes to better material organization, improved content mastery, and increased student confidence during presentations. However, its use should be conducted wisely to avoid excessive dependence that may hinder creativity and critical thinking skills

No full textPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji makna kenyamanan sosial dalam lirik lagu yang terdapat pada album Dunia Batas karya Mohammad Istiqamah Djamad (Is) dari grup musik Payung Teduh, dengan menggunakan pendekatan semiotika pragmatik. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis Roland Barthes dan pendekatan ekspresif dari Hutabarat et al., yang menitikberatkan pada makna denotatif, konotatif, serta ekspresi emosional dalam lirik lagu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa makna kenyamanan sosial dalam lirik lagu-lagu tersebut muncul melalui representasi kedekatan emosional, penerimaan, dan kerinduan dalam hubungan interpersonal. Kehadiran kata-kata seperti “pelukan”, “berdua”, dan “rindu” secara simbolik memperkuat nuansa kenyamanan yang tidak selalu bersifat fisik, tetapi juga emosional dan spiritual.Lagu-lagu Payung Teduh mencerminkan bagaimana individu menemukan ketenangan dalam keterbatasan dan hubungan yang intim, meskipun dalam suasana yang sunyi atau penuh keraguan. Penelitian ini memperkaya kajian semiopragmatik dan menunjukkan bahwa musik adalah media efektif untuk menyampaikan pengalaman emosional dan makna sosial yang kompleks
PENGEMBANGAN MODEL CHARACTER BASED LEARNING PADA MATA KULIAH PROFESI KEGURUAN DI FAKULTAS AGAMA ISLAM (UMI)

This study aims to develop a character-based learning model for teaching profession courses at the Faculty of Islamic Studies, University of Muslim Indonesia (UMI). The problems identified in this study are the dominance of cognitive learning orientation and the lack of integration of character values in the research process. The method used is research and development. This research and development adopts the modified Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel model through four stages, namely the definition stage, the design stage, the development stage, and the dissemination stage. The results showed that the developed learning tools, including lesson plans and textbooks, student worksheets, and learning outcome tests that integrated character values, met the criteria for content and construct validity with excellent average scores. Validation by experts and practitioners showed that the learning tools were valid and suitable for use. Limited trials proved that the application of the character-based learning model was able to increase student engagement and foster values of responsibility, discipline, and curiosity. Thus, this model is effective as an alternative to teacher training that not only emphasizes mastery of material but also the character building of prospective educators.
