    SUPERVISI KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU PEMBELAJARAN PAI SD IPK HIDAYAH TAYU

    This study aims to describe the principal’s supervisory strategies in improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SD IPK Hidayah Tayu. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, with the principal as the primary research subject. The findings indicate that improving the quality of PAI learning is carried out through six main strategies: (1) internal enhancement through socialization of teachers’ roles and responsibilities; (2) academic supervision through classroom visits and lesson plan (RPP) evaluation; (3) evaluation of teaching and learning activities (KBM) to identify obstacles and provide constructive feedback to teachers; (4) fostering teacher discipline to strengthen professionalism; (5) school promotion to increase student participation; and (6) improvement of facilities and infrastructure to support the learning process. These findings demonstrate that the principal's supervision plays a significant role in creating an effective and high-quality learning environment, particularly in enhancing the quality of PAI learning

    The basic assumption of this study concerns the vagueness of the existence of school committees, therefore, their participation is still being debated. This comparative case study explicitly adopts a qualitative method in which the investigation is directed at the Forms and differential aspects of the participation of two committees, namely Pattallassang and Batumenteng, which are modeled through the features of Nvivo 12 Plus. The study involved 10 respondents to obtain an overview of the specific and general aspects of the two committees, and data were collected using interview and observation techniques. The results of the analysis show that there are four forms of participation between the two committees, namely: a) Ensuring the Quality of Education Services; b) Social Service; c) School Management, and; d) Providing Assistance. While the differences in participation between the two are influenced by two general categories with specific sub-indicators, namely: 1) Knowledge Factor, and; 2) Motivation Factor or Participation Mode

    Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar melalui kajian literatur. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada masih dominannya pembelajaran konvensional yang berpusat pada guru, sehingga siswa kurang aktif, minim interaksi, dan rendah dalam berpikir kritis. Kajian dilakukan dengan metode library research terhadap sebelas artikel terbitan tahun 2016–2025 yang relevan, kemudian dianalisis secara tematik untuk menemukan pola efektivitas model Jigsaw dalam berbagai konteks pembelajaran. Hasil sintesis menunjukkan bahwa model Jigsaw secara konsisten meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada berbagai mata pelajaran seperti Matematika, IPA, IPS, dan PKN. Peningkatan tersebut ditunjukkan melalui kenaikan rata-rata nilai, ketuntasan belajar, partisipasi aktif, motivasi belajar, serta kemampuan komunikasi siswa. Mekanisme kerja kelompok ahli dan kelompok asal terbukti memperkuat pemahaman konsep karena setiap siswa berperan sebagai “ahli” pada submateri tertentu. Kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa model Jigsaw efektif sebagai strategi pembelajaran kolaboratif yang dapat diterapkan secara luas di sekolah dasar untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses dan hasil belajar

    Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk meneliti modul pembelajaran mandiri Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) dengan topik "Hak dan Kewajiban Siswa" untuk siswa kelas III SD. Fokus utama dari penelitian ini adalah menilai seberapa baik isi modul sesuai dengan pencapaian pembelajaran dalam kurikulum dan seberapa efektif modul ini dalam mendorong penerapan keseimbangan antara hak dan kewajiban di sekolah. Metodologi yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Pendekatan ini mencakup pengumpulan, pengelompokan, dan analisis data melalui evaluasi dokumen yang fokus pada elemen-elemen modul, termasuk struktur pembelajaran mandiri, faktor pedagogis, kejelasan, dan tingkat keterlibatan siswa. Sumber data primer berasal dari modul berjudul “Aku Patuh Aturan: Hak dan Kewajibanku di Sekolah” yang kemudian dijelaskan dengan cara sistematis berdasarkan standar yang ditetapkan dalam Kurikulum Merdeka. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa modul tersebut berhasil menggabungkan unsur-unsur Kurikulum Merdeka dan Profil Pelajar Pancasila, khususnya dalam aspek berpikir kritis dan berkolaborasi. Implementasi model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dan penerapan media visual terbukti sangat membantu dalam mendukung siswa kelas III dalam memahami konsep-konsep abstrak mengenai hak dan kewajiban dalam konteks kehidupan sehari-hari. Selain itu, modul ini juga terbukti efektif dalam membentuk sikap siswa yang seimbang antara menegaskan hak dan memenuhi kewajiban, contohnya menjaga kebersihan di lingkungan sekolah. Namun keberhasilan penerapan modul ini sangat bergantung pada disiplinan guru dalam mengorganisir waktu yang terbatas, yaitu 2 x 35 menit

    This study aims to develop and validate interactive digital learning media based on Canva called Matching Alphabet to improve the ability of 4-5 year old children in recognizing vowels. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects involved children in group A at Puri Cendekia Kindergarten in Surabaya, as well as subject matter experts and media experts for validity testing. The validation results showed that this media was very suitable for use, with a suitability percentage of 96.8% from subject matter experts and 90.3% from media experts. The research instrument was also declared reliable with a Cronbach's Alpha score of 0.993. Findings in the field showed that the use of the Matching Alphabet media was able to increase children's focus and enthusiasm in recognizing, naming, and distinguishing vowels (a, i, u, e, o). Thus, the Matching Alphabet media is effective as an interactive and fun basic literacy learning tool for early childhood

    This study examines the application of project-based learning through traditional kite-making activities to foster creativity in fourth-grade students in Arts and Culture (SBdP) at SD 6 Kandangmas. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation to understand the learning process and the development of students' creativity. The results showed that the integration of kite-making into the project-based learning model provided meaningful opportunities for students to explore ideas, demonstrate originality, refine designs, and solve problems creatively. Students also demonstrated high levels of engagement and collaboration, along with improved communication skills, responsibility, and independence during the project implementation. This activity provided a contextual and culturally aligned learning experience, thus strengthening students' appreciation of local traditions while developing their creative competencies. This study concluded that traditional games can be an effective and enjoyable learning medium in Arts and Culture (SBdP), especially in elementary schools without dedicated art teachers. Further research is recommended to examine the impact of this model on other competencies and in more diverse school contexts

    Social Studies learning in elementary schools often faces obstacles in visualizing abstract materials such as cultural diversity, resulting in low student creativity and engagement. This study aims to analyze the effectivenesns of implementing the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by Digital Poster Electronic Student Worksheets (E-LKPD) in increasing student creativity. This study used a Mixed Method with a Sequential Explanatory design. The subjects were 27 fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Songgom 01. Data collection was carried out through learning achievement tests, poster product assessments, observations, and student response questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used the N-Gain test for quantitative data and descriptive analysis for qualitative data. The results showed a significant increase in student creativity, evidenced by an average N-Gain score of 0.63 in the medium category. Students were able to produce original and attractive digital poster products using the Canva application. In addition, students showed high enthusiasm and positive responses to the applied learning. It can be concluded that the PjBL model assisted by Digital Poster E-LKPD is effective in increasing student creativity and creating a joyful and meaningful learning atmosphere

    This study aims to describe the application of cooperative learning assisted by smart box media in addressing social emotional problems in early childhood. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with 12 children aged 5-6 years in one PAUD class as subjects. Data collection techniques were carried out through observations of children's social emotional behavior during cooperative learning activities assisted by smart box. The results of the study indicate positive developments in children's social emotional aspects, such as increased ability to cooperate, share, wait for turns, communicate, and control emotions. The use of smart box media can increase children's involvement and interaction in learning activities so that the learning atmosphere becomes more enjoyable and meaningful. Thus, cooperative learning assisted by smart box can be used as an alternative learning strategy in supporting the social emotional development of early childhood. &nbsp

    21st-century education demands that students have strong literacy and numeracy skills as a foundation for critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making. However, various national and international assessment results indicate that students' literacy and numeracy skills in Indonesia are still in the low category. The purpose of this study was to obtain information and analyze project-based immersive learning in improving student literacy and numeracy at SMPN 3 Rancaekek, which focused on the planning process, implementation, evaluation, follow-up plans, obstacles and solutions encountered. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. The results illustrate that in the planning stage (Plan), starting with identifying initial problems, formulating learning objectives, compiling an In-Depth Learning Implementation Plan (RPPM), and determining the project theme. The implementation phase (Do) begins with the presentation of the problem and an introduction to the project, information and data collection, data analysis and development of project products, presentation of results, and student activity outcomes. The evaluation phase measures improvements in literacy and numeracy through project tests and assessments, including literacy and numeracy test results, assessment of the project process and product, and student reflection. As a follow-up plan (Act), enrichment programs, remedial classes, and teacher reflections are implemented. Challenges include limited time to complete the entire project, significant differences in student literacy and numeracy skills, limited supporting facilities, uneven collaboration, and teachers' unfamiliarity with authentic assessment and project rubrics. Solutions to address these challenges include improved time management, differentiated learning, utilizing alternative resources, strengthening collaboration, and improving teacher competency

    This study aims to describe the application of the classical, human relations, and human resources approaches in school management at MTsN 1 Langkat and analyze their impact on the effectiveness of school management. The study employed a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and descriptive conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the classical approach is implemented through a clear organizational structure, detailed division of tasks, and an orderly administration system. The human relations approach is evident in open communication, harmonious working relationships, and the involvement of teachers and other educational staff in decision-making. The human resources approach is implemented through competency development, performance evaluation, and rewards for school personnel. The integrated implementation of these three approaches positively contributes to the effectiveness of school management, increasing organizational order, work motivation, and the professionalism of school personnel
