    PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN KOMIK BERBASIS CERITA BERGAMBAR PADA ASPEK KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA SISWA MI MUHAMMADIYAH KAMPUNG BARU

    This study aims to develop learning media in the form of picture story-based comics to improve reading skills of elementary school students. The research used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model which consists of five stages: analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were 30 fourth grade students of MI Muhammadiyah Kampung Baru. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires, and tests. The validation results showed that the media was declared valid with a material validation score of 94% and media validation of 86.66%. The practicality of the media is considered very good based on the average student questionnaire score of 93.71%. The effectiveness of the media was analyzed through the comparison of pretest and posttest scores, which showed an average increase from 53.3 to 86.7. The N-Gain calculation reached 0.71 with a high category. Thus, comic media based on picture stories proved to be valid, practical, and effective in improving the reading skills of elementary school students

    Education is the main foundation in the development of a nation, playing an important role in forming competent human resources (HR) who are ready to compete in the global era. This article explores the relationship between the quality of education and the development of HR skills, highlighting the importance of education that is relevant, inclusive, and adaptive to the needs of the labor market. Through a descriptive qualitative approach and literature study, this study found that good quality education not only improves individual abilities, but also contributes to economic growth, social welfare, and poverty alleviation. Challenges faced in improving the quality of education, such as limited resources and teacher quality, need to be addressed through increasing the education budget and continuous training for teachers. The results of this study are expected to provide significant contributions to policy makers and practitioners in formulating strategies to improve the quality of education, so as to create a productive, innovative, and competitive workforce. Thus, investment in quality education is a must to drive the nation's progress in the long term

    This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The purpose of the research is to analyze and describe the difficulties of students in solving story problems on fractions in grade IV. The subjects of this research are grade IV students of SD Inpres Karunrung who are grouped into 3 subjects. The selection of research subjects is based on the results of the test scores in solving story problems, namely, high, medium, and low scores, then one subject is selected for each subject to be the subject of research. Meanwhile, the object of research is the answer sheet of the results of the students' story problem solving test guided by interview guidelines. Data analysis uses the methods of data reduction, data presentation, data verification and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that, of the five types of errors analyzed, errors in process skills and writing final answers are the most frequent types of errors and are experienced by all research subjects. Process skill errors are inaccuracies in performing fraction arithmetic operations, while errors in writing final answers occur because students do not conclude the results completely and correctly

    This study aims to determine the effect of GeoGebra media on students' learning motivation in quadratic functions. The research method used was quantitative research with a correlational approach. The population was all 10th grade students of SMA N 10 Medan. The instruments used by the researcher were a learning motivation questionnaire and a student ability test. The results showed that the use of GeoGebra as a learning medium had an effect on students' learning motivation. Based on the statistical analysis, the sig (2-tailed) value was 0.008 < 0.05 with a significance level of 5%. This means that α0 is rejected and α is accepted. Based on the results of the simple regression test, the regression equation Y = 77.283 + 0.999X was obtained. Based on the results of the regression significance test, it can be concluded that variable X has a significant effect on Y

    This research is motivated by the problem of students feeling shunned, lack of student participation in learning. The study aims to describe: student learning problems in the aspects of 1) personal, 2) social, 3) learning, 4) career, 5) design a service program based on identification of student problems at SMAN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti. As well as designing a program based on the analysis of problems faced by students. The type of research is descriptive quantitative. The population of this study were 355 students of SMAN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti. The sampling technique used a simple random sampling technique of 35 people. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis used a percentage technique. Based on the results of the study revealed that student problems in the fields of: 1) personal are in the moderate criteria 2) social are in the moderate criteria 3) learning are in the many criteria 4) career are in the many criteria 5) design of Guidance and Counseling Service Program. This information service focuses on time discipline and personal responsibility, wisely managing desires and finances, increasing motivation and enthusiasm for learning, and independence in decision-making. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that guidance and counseling teachers implement the program designed through this research

    This research is motivated by the less than optimal efforts of guidance and counseling teachers to improve the emotional development of students who use gadgets. The purpose of this study is to describe the efforts of guidance and counseling teachers to improve the emotional development of students who use gadgets reviewed from: 1) self-awareness, 2) emotional management, and 3) Empathy. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive data. The results of the study indicate that guidance and counseling teachers have a strategic role in guiding students to be able to develop self-awareness, manage emotions, and build empathy. In the aspect of self-awareness, guidance and counseling teachers help students recognize their strengths and weaknesses through active communication and a supportive approach. In the aspect of emotional management, guidance and counseling teachers create a positive emotional atmosphere through counseling services tailored to the character of students, while in the aspect of empathy, guidance and counseling teachers show concern and readiness in responding to students' emotional problems by upholding professional ethics. These efforts demonstrate the importance of the role of guidance and counseling teachers in accompanying the emotional development of students in the era of increasingly intensive gadget use

    This study aims to determine whether the application of the Make A Match learning model can improve the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 26 Lubuklinggau. This research method used an experimental research method with a pre-test and post-test experimental design. Sampling was taken using a purposive sampling technique, considering that the population consisted of two classes. The sample in the study was 25 students of class IV.A. The instrument used by the researcher was a multiple-choice questionnaire with 15 questions. Data collection was carried out using a test technique. Data were analyzed using the t-test formula. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, the calculated t_value is then consulted with the t_(table) in the t distribution list with a significance level of α = 0.05 so that the calculated t_value> t_table (3.551> 1.714) is obtained. With this, H_0 is rejected and H_a is accepted. So it can be concluded that the Make A Match learning model can complete the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 26 Lubuklinggau

    PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MODEL PROBLEM BESED LEARNING BERBANTUAN WORDWALL TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA PESERTA DIDIK KELAS V SD GKPS SARIBUDOLOK

    This study aims to investigate the effect of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Wordwall media on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD GKPS Saribudolok, focusing on the topic of perimeter and area of plane figures. This research employed an experimental method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design without a control group. A total of 36 students from class V-A participated as research subjects. Data were collected through pretests, posttests, and student response questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and one-sample t-test with the assistance of SPSS version 25. The results indicate a significant improvement in students' learning outcomes after the implementation of the PBL model assisted by Wordwall. The average pretest score of 59.33 (categorized as poor) increased to 79.88 (categorized as good) in the posttest, with 75% of students achieving mastery learning above the minimum competency criteria. Normality tests confirmed that the data were normally distributed (p > 0.05), and the t-test results showed that tcount ≥ ttable (3.820 ≥ 2.030) with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, indicating a positive and significant effect of using PBL with Wordwall on mathematics learning outcomes. Furthermore, students’ responses toward the learning model were categorized as very good (mean = 92.16). Thus, PBL assisted by Wordwall can be considered an effective learning strategy to improve mathematics learning achievement and student motivation

    This study aims to describe the implementation of Sasak local cultural values in character education as a strategy to strengthen students’ social attitudes at SD ‘Aisyiyah 1 Mataram. The research used a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and the principal, and documentation of learning activities. The results revealed that local cultural values such as mutual cooperation, politeness, and responsibility were integrated into teaching-learning activities, religious practices, and daily habits at school. This integration effectively fostered positive social behaviors among students, including respect, environmental awareness, and cooperation. Implementing character education based on Sasak local culture proved to be an effective strategy to reinforce students’ cultural identity and social attitudes in the primary school context

    This study aims to examine the role of Wordwall media in developing the learning activities of elementary school students. This study is motivated by the need for digital learning media that is attractive and appropriate to the characteristics of elementary school students who are active, enjoy playing, and responsive to interactive visual displays. The method used is a literature study by analyzing 12 relevant journals regarding the use of word walls in various subjects. The results of the analysis prove that word walls have a positive impact on student learning activities, which is seen from the increase in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects as well as various indicators of activity such as asking questions, discussing, answering questions, and playing an active role during teaching and learning activities. In addition, word walls can increase interest and motivation in learning due to their interactive and fun game features. Overall, word walls are recommended as an effective digital learning medium to increase the learning activities of elementary school students
