    Household organic waste remains a significant environmental issue, particularly in rural areas where most residents rely on agriculture for their livelihoods. This community service program aimed to enhance community knowledge and skills in managing organic household waste through the production of eco-enzyme as liquid organic fertilizer. The program was conducted in Kenagarian Halaban, Jorong Atas Laban, Lima Puluh Kota Regency, involving 10 participants. The methods included community outreach, training sessions, hands-on practice, as well as continuous assistance and monitoring. Eco-enzyme was produced from household organic waste using a 3:1:10 ratio and fermented for 90 days, with 30 days of on-site assistance followed by online monitoring. The results showed that the eco-enzyme produced was dark brown in color with a distinctive acidic but non-putrid odor, indicating a successful fermentation process. The application of eco-enzyme as liquid fertilizer contributed to reducing organic waste volume, increasing environmental awareness, and improving plant growth. Limited community participation was identified as the main challenge, highlighting the need for broader engagement strategies to ensure program sustainability.

    This research aims to comparatively analyze the relationship between religious fatwas and state regulations in the Sharia stock screening system in Indonesia and Malaysia. Using a qualitative approach and juridical-normative method, this research is supported by three theoretical frameworks: legal pluralism, normative authority, and comparative law. The results show that Indonesia applies a dualistic model where the DSN-MUI fatwa serves as a moral reference, which is then partially accommodated by OJK regulations. In contrast, Malaysia adopts an integrative approach through the SAC-SC, which functions as an official state institution with legally binding authority. Significant differences are also found in the financial indicators, where Malaysia sets stricter debt and non-halal income ratio limits consistent with international standards such as AAOIFI. These findings reflect the different epistemological and institutional approaches to internalizing Shariah principles into the capital market system. This research contributes to the study of Islamic economic law by offering a new understanding of the ideal form of relationship between regulation and fatwa in supporting the integrity and legitimacy of Islamic capital markets

    Islamic Religious Education aims not only at transferring knowledge but also at shaping the character and morals of students. The play-based approach is an effective learning strategy because it can enhance students' motivation and understanding through enjoyable and interactive learning experiences. This approach integrates cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects, making learning more holistic and contextual. Using descriptive qualitative research with observation, interviews, and documentation techniques, the study found that play activities such as role-playing and interactive quizzes significantly improve students’ understanding of Islamic religious material. Challenges such as limited media resources and teachers' adaptation to this method can be overcome with continuous training. Therefore, the development of learning media and teacher training is essential for the successful long-term implementation of this approach. Play-based learning proves effective in facilitating religious understanding while enhancing students’ learning motivation

    Especially for children with modest intellectual disabilities, the ability to recognize letters is a crucial first step in the development of early reading. Because of these constraints, learning materials must be tangible, visually appealing, and captivating. This study's primary goal was to show how the Fun and Fun Reading (BARUSIK) app can help kids with minor intellectual disabilities recognize alphabetic letters. Using an A-B-A design and the Single Subject Research (SSR) experimental method, a quantitative research methodology was employed. An 8-year-old girl in class II at Sungai Banyak State Special Needs School who had modest intellectual difficulties served as the study's subject. Observation was used to gather data, and a performance test was used as a research tool to gauge the child's proficiency in naming and displaying alphabet letters. Data analysis was then displayed graphically. The findings demonstrated that the child's ability stayed constant at 25% at the start of the baseline investigation (A1). In phase B of the intervention, the child's proficiency rises to 70%. The child's abilities continued to grow and stabilized at 90% at the end of the baseline testing (A2). Children with minor intellectual disabilities have been shown to benefit from the Fun and Exciting Reading Application (BARUSIK) in terms of their ability to recognize alphabetic letters.     This study aims to examine the cognitive and emotional challenges experienced by students in digital era learning from an educational psychology perspective within the context of an Islamic secondary school. The rapid integration of digital technology into education has significantly influenced how students maintain attention, process information, and regulate emotions under increasing academic demands. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through in depth interviews, classroom observations of digital-based learning, and document analysis, and were analyzed thematically through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing.The findings indicate that students face substantial cognitive challenges, including reduced learning focus, digital distractions, and increased cognitive load due to media multitasking. In addition, emotional challenges emerged in the form of academic stress, performance anxiety, mental fatigue, and fluctuating learning motivation. These results highlight the crucial role of teachers as learning facilitators and psychological guides, as well as the role of schools as regulatory and supportive environments in managing digital technology use. The study underscores the importance of low-distraction instructional design, emotional regulation support, and the integration of Islamic values to promote students’ psychological well-being and learning quality in the digital era

    The Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes the need for interactive and contextual learning, including in the topic of multilateral cooperation within the Grade VI IPAS subject. However, classroom practices still rely heavily on traditional approaches that are less effective in supporting students’ understanding of global concepts in an engaging and interactive manner. This condition highlights the need for digital technology integration, particularly the Metaverse, which offers a three-dimensional learning environment that enables immersive learner interaction. This study aims to analyze the need for developing Metaverse-based learning media for Grade VI students at SDN 11 Indralaya. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, utilizing interviews, observations, and documentation. Data were analyzed through triangulation to obtain an objective overview of student characteristics and learning conditions. The findings indicate that learning activities remain centered on textbooks and teacher explanations, while available technological facilities are not yet optimally used. Students tend to have audio-visual learning preferences and show strong interest in digital media that provide richer visualization and interaction. The teacher also recognizes the necessity for innovative media to enhance learning engagement. These findings suggest that Metaverse platforms such as Spatial.io have great potential to be implemented as learning media that enrich the learning experience and support the understanding of multilateral cooperation. This study serves as a foundational reference for developing Metaverse-based learning media using Spatial.io for Grade VI students in alignment with their learning needs and 21st-century educational demands

    This study aims to determine the relationship between students’ mastery of intrinsic and extrinsic elements of fictional literary works and their short story writing ability among eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Kakap. The research employed a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The population of this study consisted of all eighth-grade students, totaling 30 students. Data were collected using a multiple-choice objective test consisting of 25 items to measure students’ mastery of intrinsic and extrinsic elements of fictional literary works, and one essay test item to assess students’ ability to write short stories. The results of data analysis indicate that: (1) the total score for mastery of intrinsic and extrinsic elements of fictional literary works reached 23.76, with an average score per student of 79.20 from 30 respondents. This result shows that students’ mastery of intrinsic and extrinsic elements of fictional literary works falls into the good category; (2) the total score of students’ short story writing ability from the essay test reached 21.56, with an average score per student of 71.86, which is also classified as good; and (3) correlation analysis using the mean formula and Pearson product-moment correlation reveals that there is a relationship between mastery of intrinsic and extrinsic elements of fictional literary works and students’ short story writing ability. The research data show that the calculated r-value is greater than the r-table value (0.4052 > 0.361), indicating that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between students’ mastery of intrinsic and extrinsic elements of fictional literary works and their short story writing ability at SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Kakap

    This study aims to examine whether the use of digital portfolios through Google Sites can enhance students’ learning interest and creativity in Social Studies learning. The learning interest and creativity of eighth-grade students in class VIII-F improved after the implementation of Google Sites–based digital portfolios over two instructional cycles. The results indicate that: (1) in the pre-cycle, students’ learning interest in Social Studies was in the low category, reaching 38,75% across all indicators, while creativity was recorded at 37%, showing that students generally demonstrated low interest and low creativity in learning; (2) in Cycle I, students’ learning interest increased to a moderate level with an average score of 60% across all indicators, accompanied by an improvement in creativity to 51%, also categorized as moderate; and (3) in Cycle II, students’ learning interest reached a good category with an average score of 80%, while creativity increased significantly to 82%, classified as very good. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the use of Google Sites–based digital portfolios in Social Studies learning effectively enhances the learning interest and creativity of students in class VIII-F at SMP Negeri 12 Madiun

    ABSTRACT Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) represent Islamic educational institutions that possess a distinctive nurturing system in shaping students’ character in a holistic and sustainable manner. One of the fundamental values that forms the core of pesantren education is the Panca Jiwa, which consists of sincerity, simplicity, self-reliance, Islamic brotherhood, and fighting spirit. Amid the challenges of globalization, digitalization, and increasing moral complexity among younger generations, a well-structured and continuous nurturing management system is required to ensure that these values are effectively internalized in students’ daily lives. This study aims to analyze nurturing management in the formation of Panca Jiwa character at Al-Basyariyah Islamic Boarding School, Cigondewah, focusing on the aspects of planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up within the student nurturing process. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with pesantren leaders, the director of student nurturing, teachers, and student administrators, as well as documentation analysis. The findings indicate that nurturing management at Al-Basyariyah Islamic Boarding School is implemented systematically and is deeply rooted in pesantren culture, involving all elements of the boarding school community. The internalization of Panca Jiwa values is realized through religious habituation, daily discipline, student independence, literacy programs, and the exemplary conduct of caregivers. Evaluation is conducted through both formal and informal mechanisms and is reinforced by the practice of muhasabah as a form of spiritual reflection. This study concludes that nurturing management integrated with pesantren culture is effective in shaping students’ Panca Jiwa character and has strong potential to serve as a contextual and sustainable model of community-based character education.     This study aims to improve students’ learning interest in Islamic Cultural History (Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam) through the implementation of animated video learning media assisted by the Canva application. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were 22 eighth-grade students of MTs Laboratorium Kota Jambi in the academic year 2025/2026. Data were collected through observation sheets, questionnaires on learning interest, interviews, and documentation. The indicators of learning interest measured in this study included students’ enjoyment, attention, active participation, and motivation during the learning process. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ learning interest after the implementation of animated video media assisted by Canva. In Cycle I, students’ learning interest increased moderately, while in Cycle II it reached the expected success criteria with a percentage above 80%. These findings indicate that the use of Canva-assisted animated video learning media can create an engaging and interactive learning atmosphere, thereby effectively increasing students’ learning interest in Islamic Cultural History. Therefore, this media can be recommended as an alternative innovative learning strategy to enhance students’ engagement in the classroom
