    This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using Morph PowerPoint in improving the learning outcomes of seventh grade students in Arts and Culture at SMP Negeri 3 Panca Rijang. This study used a true experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study was 67 seventh grade students, while the research sample consisted of an experimental class (VII.1) and a control class (VII.3), each consisting of 23 students. The instrument used was a multiple-choice test given before and after the treatment. The results showed that the average pretest score of the experimental class was 50.43, which increased to 91.52, while the control class experienced an increase from 48.04 to 81.52. The N-Gain analysis showed that the experimental class had a score of 82.94% (effective) and the control class 63.33% (quite effective). Thus, it can be concluded that Morph PowerPoint is proven to be effective in improving students' learning outcomes in Arts and Culture

    The development of digital technology has transformed patterns of communication in society, particularly among adolescents. One significant change is in language use, which is now heavily influenced by social media. This study aims to describe the influence of social media usage on students’ language skills, especially writing and reading skills, at SMPN 14 Serang City. The theoretical framework of this study is based on Stephen Krashen’s Second Language Acquisition theory, which emphasizes the importance of comprehensible input and a supportive learning environment in language acquisition. This research is also strengthened by digital linguistic theories that explain how social media shapes communication patterns and language styles among younger generations. This study employs a quantitative approach using a descriptive correlational method. The research population consists of ninth-grade students at SMPN 14 Serang City, with a sample of 78 students selected through stratified random sampling. The instruments used include a questionnaire measuring the intensity of social media use as well as reading and writing tests. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation and simple linear regression. The results indicate that most students at SMPN 14 Serang City have good writing and reading abilities. Writing activities on social media, such as creating status updates, captions, private messages, and comments, indirectly train students to construct sentences and express ideas. Students’ reading abilities are also supported by exposure to various texts on social media, although deeper comprehension still needs improvement. The correlation test shows a positive and significant relationship between the intensity of social media use and writing skills (r = 0.45; p < 0.05) as well as reading skills (r = 0.38; p < 0.05). These findings indicate that social media use contributes to the development of students’ literacy skills, particularly in writing fluency and literal reading comprehension, although guidance is still needed to ensure appropriate and standard language use

    This study analyzes the case of premeditated murder committed by Ferdy Sambo against Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat (Brigadier J). The purpose of this research is to understand the motive, evidence, application of legal articles, and the verdict imposed from the perspective of Indonesian criminal law. The research method used is normative juridical, employing a statutory approach based on Article 340 of the Indonesian Criminal Code (KUHP) concerning premeditated murder, as well as Law No. 19 of 2016 on Electronic Information and Transactions. The results of the study indicate that this case represents a deliberately planned act of murder involving several parties, including elements of obstruction of justice in an attempt to cover up the crime. Evidence such as autopsy results, witness testimonies, and the confession of Bharada E strengthen the conclusion that the murder was premeditated. The South Jakarta District Court initially sentenced Ferdy Sambo to death, a decision upheld at the appellate level. However, at the cassation stage, the Supreme Court commuted the sentence to life imprisonment. This case reflects a crisis of integrity among law enforcement officials and serves as a representation of the application of justice and legal certainty within Indonesia’s criminal justice system

    Learning Indonesian at the elementary school level does not only focus on developing language skills, but also on forming students' capacity to express themselves constructively. One of the right strategies to achieve this is a project-based learning approach that is integrated with students' interests and hobbies. This article aims to describe the application of learning self-expression through hobbies using the project method in the Indonesian language module for class V elementary schools. The method used is descriptive qualitative, by analyzing teaching modules designed based on student characteristics and PjBL principles. The results of the analysis show that project-based learning through hobbies can increase student participation in the learning process, self-confidence, and oral and written language skills. Thus, this module can be used as a meaningful and context-appropriate learning alternative in teaching Indonesian in elementary schools

    This study aims to develop a plant-themed educational game to improve cognitive abilities of children aged 5–6 years at TK Negeri Pembina Cibadak. The background of this research is the limited use of interactive digital learning media that can stimulate early childhood cognitive development optimally. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method adapted from the ADDIE model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The subjects were 20 children aged 5–6 years. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and cognitive assessment sheets. The results showed that the educational game was feasible and effective in improving children’s cognitive abilities, particularly in classification, problem-solving, and logical thinking related to plant themes. The findings indicate that plant-themed educational games can be an alternative interactive learning media to enhance early childhood cognitive development

    This study aims to determine the effect of individual counseling on the impostor phenomenon and changes in the condition of students experiencing the impostor phenomenon before and after receiving individual counseling. This study used a quantitative experimental approach with a Paired Sample T-Test method. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and observations. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis and inferential analysis of the paired sample T-test to test the research hypothesis. The results showed that there were 15 students used as the research sample. Based on the data analysis technique using the Paired Sample T-test, a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained. In this study, the researcher concluded that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected, because there was an influence of variable X (Individual Counseling) on ​​variable Y (Impostor phenomenon) and there was a significant difference in the condition of students experiencing the impostor phenomenon before and after receiving individual counseling

    This study aims to examine the effect of implementing drumband extracurricular activities on improving the disciplinary character of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 136 Pekanbaru. The research was motivated by the low level of student discipline and the need for practical and engaging character education approaches. This study employed a quantitative method using a quasi-experimental time series design. The research sample consisted of 32 students selected through saturated sampling. Data were collected using pretest and posttest questionnaires measuring three indicators of discipline: punctuality and attendance consistency, adherence to rules, and efficiency in time management. The data were analyzed using the Paired Sample t-test and N-Gain analysis. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ discipline after participating in four drumband practice sessions. The Paired Sample t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores. The average N-Gain score was 0.49, categorized as moderate. These findings indicate that drumband extracurricular activities are moderately effective in improving students’ disciplinary character

    ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the implementation of gotong royong attitudes (cooperation, mutual help, responsibility, and solidarity) and to identify their supporting and inhibiting factors in the Scout extracurricular for Siaga Garuda members. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach at SDN Cimandala 3, Bogor Regency, with the subjects being 18 fourth-grade Siaga Garuda students and two Scout leaders. Data were collected through the triangulation of observation, interviews, and documentation, and subsequently analyzed using an interactive model. The results show that the gotong royong attitudes were effectively instilled through participatory methods such as games, the group system (barung), and direct assignments that build responsibility. The main supporting factors for this success were interactive coaching methods, positive internal responses from students in the form of pride, and a consistent activity environment. However, inhibiting factors were also identified, including individual challenges such as forgetfulness and challenges from social dynamics, such as difficulty cooperating due to personal incompatibility. It is concluded that the success of instilling these attitudes is the result of a synergy between the methods, students' internal motivation, and environmental consistency

    This research aims to examine the influence of the Problem Based Learning model on students' learning outcomes in number subtraction lessons in Grade I of Cluster I, Lengayang District Pesisir Selatan Regency. The type of this research is quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study is all first-grade students in Group I, Lengayang District. Sampling was conducted using purposive sampling techniques, resulting in class I.A UPT SDN 28 Pasar Gompong as the experimental class and class I.B UPT SDN 28 Pasar Gompong as the control class. The instrument used in this study was an objective test in the form of multiple-choice questions. Based on the research results, the average posttest score in the experimental class was higher, at 88.10, compared to the control class at 77.62. After conducting the hypothesis test, tcount = 2.1577 was obtained, while ttabel at a 95% confidence level ( = 0.05) is 2.02. Thus, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, because tcount > ttabel, so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the Problem Based Learning model on students' learning outcomes in number subtraction lessons in class I Group I, Lengayang District Pesisir Selatan Regency

    Mental health is an essential aspect of life, particularly for correctional inmates who face high psychological stress. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of a group counseling-based guidance and counseling program in reducing stress, anxiety, and depression among inmates at Class III Rangkasbitung Prison. The study employed a Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) approach, involving active collaboration between researchers, prison officers, and inmates. The sample consisted of 32 early adult inmates selected through purposive sampling, and psychological conditions were measured using the DASS-21 instrument. The program was implemented through several stages, including needs analysis, collaboration, program planning, delivery of classical guidance, group guidance, group counseling, individual counseling, and evaluation. The results indicated a significant increase in participants categorized as normal across all three psychological variables, alongside the reduction or elimination of moderate and severe categories after program implementation. These findings demonstrate that guidance and counseling services are effective in strengthening mental health, managing stress and anxiety, and reducing depression among inmates. The program highlights the importance of correctional institutions as rehabilitative spaces that integrate punitive and psychosocial development aspects and is recommended for sustainable implementation as a model for mental health intervention in correctional settings.
