    This study aims to analyze the influence of parenting styles on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD N Timbang 01. The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. There are three research questions in this study, namely, how parenting styles are applied in assisting learning at home, what factors influence the effectiveness of parenting styles in supporting student learning outcomes, and whether parenting styles contribute to student learning outcomes. The research informants consisted of classroom teachers, parents, and students selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that parenting styles play an important role in shaping students' motivation, discipline, and consistency in learning. Democratic parenting styles were found to produce optimal and stable learning outcomes because they are supported by clear learning rules, parental guidance, and two-way communication that encourages children's intrinsic motivation. Authoritarian and mixed parenting styles tend to produce fluctuating learning outcomes because children's learning motivation is more external and influenced by pressure, such as punishment and threats. Meanwhile, permissive parenting shows relatively low learning outcomes due to a lack of rules and supervision, resulting in children being less disciplined and distracted

    The selection of appropriate learning methods, strategies, and approaches is a crucial factor in improving the quality of student learning. Mismatches in the application of these three components can result in low student engagement and suboptimal achievement of learning objectives. This article aims to analyze the selection of learning methods, strategies, and approaches in an effort to improve the quality of student learning. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature review design. Data were obtained through study documentation of various relevant written sources, including books, scientific articles, and journals accessed through Google Scholar. Data analysis was conducted descriptively and qualitatively by reviewing, comparing, and synthesizing concepts, theories, and research findings related to learning methods, strategies, and approaches. The results of the study indicate that the appropriate selection of learning methods, strategies, and approaches tailored to student characteristics, learning objectives, and learning contexts can improve student engagement, understanding, and learning outcomes. Therefore, teachers need to have a comprehensive understanding in determining learning methods, strategies, and approaches to create an effective and meaningful learning process

    This study examines the orientation and epistemology of Islamic educational thought at the doctoral level, emphasizing the essential integration of revelation and reason as both sources and tools for acquiring knowledge. Unlike Western epistemology, which mainly emphasizes rationalism and empiricism, Islamic epistemology acknowledges revelation as the primary source alongside rational and experiential knowledge. This holistic framework underpins the philosophy and methodology of Islamic education, aiming to develop scholars who are not only intellectually proficient but also spiritually grounded according to the paradigm of tauhid. The research discusses the distinctiveness and profundity of doctoral-level Islamic education, which requires a balanced blend of traditional Islamic scientific methods and modern academic rigor. It further addresses the implications of this epistemological foundation on curriculum development, teaching methods, and educational policy in Islamic higher education. The study also explores the challenges posed by secular paradigms and the necessity for innovative, interdisciplinary, and technology-integrated approaches to foster the development of authentic Islamic knowledge and leadership. Ultimately, this study contributes to building an epistemological framework that nurtures intellectual excellence and moral integrity in Islamic education in contemporary global contexts

    Improving the Students’ English Speaking through Omegle Platform

    This study explored the improvement of English speaking skills among higher education EFL students through the use of Omegle, a real-time interactive platform. Twenty Indonesian higher education EFL students participated in a one-month intervention that integrated Omegle into structured classroom activities. Data were collected through observations, pre- and post-tests, and semi-structured interviews. Quantitative results showed a notable improvement in speaking performance, with mean scores increasing from 48.2 in the pre-test to 72.5 in the post-test (t = 13.9, df = 19). Qualitative findings indicated that students became more confident, expanded their vocabulary, and spoke more fluently during spontaneous online conversations. These findings highlighted how combining digital platforms with classroom instruction fostered measurable progress in language proficiency. The study suggested that interactive, technology-assisted practice provided authentic, low-pressure opportunities for developing speaking skills, while future research could examine longer- term interventions and larger, more diverse student populations

    Quality management and educational supervision are crucial instruments in ensuring the sustainability of the quality of educational output in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the integration between the concept of Integrated Quality Management (MMT) with academic supervision practices within the framework of National Education Standards (SNP). Using descriptive qualitative methods, this study dissects various challenges in curriculum implementation, teacher pedagogical competence, and the role of the principal as a supervisor. As well as the strategic role of both aspects in making education in Indonesia more qualified and quality and supporting the achievement of effective and efficient education. The results of the study indicate that the improvement of educational quality is significantly influenced by the consistency of supervision and collaboration. As well as improving education that has good and equitable quality for students, without differentiating social status, economics, and abilities. Therefore, this study concludes that the transformation of quality management must be supported by strengthening digital literacy for educators and data-based supervision policies.     PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA MAZE HURUF VOKAL UNTUK KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR SIMBOLIK ANAK USIA 5–6 TAHUN

    This study aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective vowel maze media in improving the symbolic thinking skills of children aged 5–6 years. This research is motivated by the limitations of interactive learning media in schools, so that children do not get an interesting learning experience in recognizing vowels. The research method uses the Rowntree development model which includes the planning, development, and evaluation stages, and is equipped with Tessmer formative evaluation through expert review, one-to-one evaluation, and small group evaluation. The research subjects were 12 children, consisting of 3 children in the one-to-one evaluation stage and 9 children in the small group evaluation stage, while the object of the research was the vowel maze media in learning to recognize vowels. The research instruments included a material expert validation sheet, a media expert validation sheet, an observation sheet, and a teacher response questionnaire. The validation results showed that the vowel maze media was very valid with a score of 100% from material experts and 95% from media experts, so that the average validity reached 97%. The practicality test demonstrated excellent practicality, with scores of 91% in the one-to-one evaluation stage and 96% in the small group evaluation stage, or an average of 93%. Furthermore, the media proved effective in improving children's symbolic thinking skills in recognizing vowels, imitating letter shapes, naming objects that begin with vowels, and grouping objects based on the same vowel

    This study addresses the challenges of managing religious habituation programs in strengthening students’ character at the junior secondary school level. The research aims to describe the management of the Bina Siswa Iman dan Bina Siswa Iman Dan Takwa (BINWA IMTAK)) religious habituation program through a collaborative research approach. The study was conducted at SMPN 1 Purwakarta and SMPN 2 Karangtengah Cianjur using a qualitative descriptive methodology. Data were collected through document analysis and semi-structured interviews with school leaders and teachers. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing using the Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) management framework. The findings indicate that program planning in both schools is aligned with the schools’ vision and mission, program implementation is carried out consistently according to each school’s context, evaluation focuses on monitoring changes in students’ religious behavior and discipline, and follow-up actions emphasize strengthening a religious school culture. The study concludes that the success of Bina Siswa Iman Dan Takwa (BINWA IMTAK), program is not determined by uniformity of activities, but by effective program management, contextual adaptation, and consistent role modeling by educator

This article aims to comprehensively examine the transformation of science learning through innovative learning approaches and models, namely inquiry learning, Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Project-Based Learning (PjBL), cooperative learning, and the STEM approach, in fostering 21st-century skills. This study employs a literature review method by analyzing textbooks and relevant scientific sources related to elementary science education. The results indicate that innovative learning models effectively enhance students’ critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills. Therefore, transforming science learning through innovative approaches is essential to improving learning quality and aligning elementary education with the demands of the 21st centur

    This study aims to develop an e-book learning medium on basic basketball techniques that can be used effectively in the Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) learning process. The main problem in basketball learning is the limited availability of digital media that can facilitate conceptual understanding through visual, interactive, and independent approaches. The research method used the Research and Development (R&D) model with the ADDIE approach, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects consisted of 22 tenth-grade students from SMK Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan and involved subject matter experts, media experts, and language experts as validators. The validation results showed that the E-book received a very feasible rating from all validators, while limited trials showed positive responses and increased student learning activities. This product has been proven effective in improving students' understanding of basic basketball techniques and supporting technology-based independent learning. Thus, this E-book is feasible to be implemented as an alternative innovative learning media in PJOK subjects

Penggunaan kecerdasan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam pembelajaran matematika berkembang pesat, namun pengaruhnya terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMP masih jarang diteliti. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi hubungan antara penggunaan AI dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMP. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis temuan-temuan terkait penggunaan AI dalam pembelajaran matematika dan pengaruhnya terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa SMP. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) untuk mengumpulkan, menilai, dan menganalisis 30 artikel yang dipublikasikan pada periode 2021–2025. Proses pencarian dilakukan melalui berbagai basis data Google Scholar, dan SINTA menggunakan kata kunci “Artificial Intelligence in mathematics learning”, “AI-based learning”, dan “mathematical problem solving ability”.  Artikel yang terpilih dievaluasi berdasarkan kualitas metodologi dan relevansi temuan dengan topik penelitian. Hasil telaah terhadap 30 artikel yang relevan ditemukan bahwa sebagian besar studi menemukan hubungan positif antara penggunaan AI dan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa, terutama ketika AI diintegrasikan dengan Problem-Based Learning (PBL), scaffolding metakognitif, dan tutor cerdas adaptif. Namun, penerapan AI di tingkat SMP masih terbatas, dengan lebih banyak studi yang berfokus pada pendidikan dasar dan tinggi. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa meskipun AI menunjukkan potensi besar dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, terdapat beberapa gap penelitian yang perlu diatasi, seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur, kesiapan guru, dan pengaruh faktor sosial-ekonomi siswa
