Get PDF[For the English abstract and full text of the article please see the attached PDF-File (English version follows Russian version)].ABSTRACT The paper proposes a schematic diagram of an additional device for vortex propulsion units of vessels and algorithms for computer simulation of their use for various maneuvering options. The paper describes the advantages of vessels with propulsion units in the form of generators of vortex pairs, including toroidal vortices (thermals), the efficiency of propulsion units of which increases with the increase in their dimensions. A comprehensive analysis of the specifics of maneuvering of such vessels is presented. Practical inapplicability of traditional vessels’ devices for changing the course of the vessel and unacceptable duration of reaching steady-state modes and the stopping process when using only regular vortex generators are shown. A sequence of actions with vortex generators is described for the main types of maneuvers. In the paper, a schematic diagram of an additional device (with an estimation of its physical dimensions) is proposed to the vortex propulsion units of vessels, which ensures unwinding or braking of the «attached» mass for a predetermined time with minimal loss of power. Algorithms for computer simulation of the change in the nature of the flow in the closed flow region are developed using the proposed additional acceleration device. It is shown that the algorithms implemented in the work can be used in the control of a real vessel. В статье представлено расчётно- теоретическое моделирование процессов маневрирования судов, оснащённых вихревыми движителями, обоснованы гидродинамические принципы манёвра при изменении режимов генераторов вихрей и кинетической энергии, показаны способы раскрутки воды в зоне замкнутого течения («присоединённой массы») при переходе судна из состояния покоя в режим устоявшегося движения. Предложены принципиальная схема дополнительного устройства к вихревым движителям и алгоритмы компьютерного моделирования его использования для различных вариантов маневрирования. Описаны преимущества судов с генераторами вихревых пар, в том числе тороидальных вихрей (термиков), эффективность движителей которых увеличивается с ростом их габаритов

Get PDF[For the English abstract and full text of the article please see the attached PDF-File (English version follows Russian version)].ABSTRACT The article, published in two issues of the journal, addresses the problems of development of transport infrastructure in the northern regions of Russia (Part I: Priority of roads, land communications, Part II: How to avoid the syndrome of isolation from «metropolis»). The conclusion is substantiated that in order to ensure their attractiveness, comfort of living, increasing the population density, creating conditions for long-term sustainable social and economic development of the territories, it is necessary to deal more with the infrastructure of land transport and, above all, the railway, which would be of a supporting nature and would strengthen the position of the transport complex in the north. It requires strategic planning for development of each type of transport, taking into account the prospects for industrial development of low-income arctic regions and long-term needs of people in creating a comfortable environment and favorable conditions for active and full-fledged life, in conjunction with the natural and climatic features of the region and their projected changes. Обоснован вывод о том, что для обеспечения их привлекательности, комфортности проживания, повышения плотности населения, создания условий для долговременного устойчивого социально-экономического развития территорий необходимо больше заниматься инфраструктурой сухопутного транспорта и прежде всего железнодорожной, которая носила бы опорный характер и способствовала укреплению позиций транспортного комплекса на Севере. Требуется стратегическое планирование развития каждого из видов транспорта с учётом перспектив промышленного освоения малообжитых арктических районов и долгосрочных потребностей людей в создании комфортной среды и благоприятных условий для активной и полноценной жизнедеятельности, в увязке с природно-климатическими особенностями края и их прогнозируемыми изменениями

In particular, innovative activity in this sphere of the scientific center of special radio-electronic systems and management of MAI is shown and its results are simultaneously projected onto the conditions and requirements of cooperation between universities and enterprises interacting for the sake of creating breakthrough technologies and competitive products. Проблемы транспортного обеспечения северных регионов
