Get PDFFor the English abstract and full text of the article please see the attached PDF-File (English version follows Russian version).ABSTRACT Development of contact networks feeding electrified railways has a trend to use the devices, structures and elements that can be maintained with less efforts and as rarely as possible. The article considers an alternative to application of rollers KS-084 regarding the Russian practices but also suggests approaches and useful tools that can be used on the whole while assessing different operation aspects of power supply systems. Theoretical studies of the permissible normative load on the wire fastening assembly, as well as the experimental verification, including the evaluation of the mechanical strength of GRP rollers for failure in accordance with OST 32.204-2002, showed the complete availability of the composite products offered for operation in the construction of overhead contact systems. Get PDFFor the English full text of the article please see the attached PDF-File (English version follows Russian version).ABSTRACT The data presented in the article testify to the urgent need for modernization of methods for studying horizontal geometric irregularities that provide necessary accuracy in assessment of the rail gauge state. The method for measuring the trajectory of the lateral surface of the rail head in the horizontal plane is improved. The method of converting the bending arrows from the base chord to the absolute values of the coordinates of the trajectory of the lateral surface of the rail head in the plan is modified. The influence of lateral wear of rails on traffic safety is evaluated. Particularly, the authors argue that along with the spectral methods of estimating the horizontal irregularities, it is necessary to apply the indicator of the traffic safety factor of single irregularities. According to the research the lateral undercut of the rail head in the longitudinal direction has an uneven wavy character and the results of its measurements should be used in assessing traffic safety, especially in curved sections of the track. Модифицирован метод перевода стрел изгиба от базовой хорды в абсолютные значения координат траектории боковой поверхности головки рельса в плане. This is due to the general growth of the terrorist threat in the world - a number of terrorist acts have been committed in subways of various countries of the world, including Russia, the United States, Britain, Japan and France. For effective measures to counteract such acts, it is necessary to clearly know the trends of modern terrorism, particularly on the basis of systematization and analysis of statistical data on the terrorist acts committed in the metro with the subsequent formation of a matrix of trends, which in this case was done by the authors of the article. The proposed matrix helps to assess terrorist threats for Russian subways and can be used to develop measures to ensure their transport security. The transport system has five main functions: management, organization, planning, regulation and control. In a dynamic and internally connected complex railway transport system, a change in only one position leads to a change in many other components. At the same time, the theory treats management of all objects of the process as a unity of goals at different hierarchical levels, united by strategic decisions, regulatory and operational planning, and through technology of dispatch management. Get PDFABSTRACT The authors’ study was devoted to the methodology that could estimate quality and ranking of transport services provided to townspeople in urban passenger and baggage transit, particularly using road vehicles and land electric transport vehicles. The experience of the entities of the Russian Federation, of the United States and the European Union in relation to standardization of the quality of transport services is cited. A mathematical model of quality of transport services, and methods of its integral assessment are considered. Basing on the general analysis of the methodology for assessing transport services, the authors suggest conclusions on its adaptability regarding city of Moscow. A systematic approach to obtaining the initial data necessary for calculation of quality indicators is proposed. Get PDFFor the English full text of the article please see the attached PDF-File (English version follows Russian version).ABSTRACT A variant of modernization of a bogie of 18-100 freight cars through installation of roller guides, which will make its frame more rigid, is being considered. The problem of rigidity of a three-element frame has long been one of the basic ones. Many scientists suggested installing cross connections, but this design was not always reliable, the cross connection was often simply deformed or broken, because, along with other aspects, it added 150-200 kg to the sprung mass of the bogie. Others suggested to put on the bogie wear-resistant, elastic elements, wheel sets with cassette bearings. Such changes in the design led to an improvement in dynamic performance, but did not solve the main problem. In the published article, the task is to uncover a new idea of modernizing the bogie, which is intended to reverse the trend that marked the transition of domestic cars to Barber S-2-R and Motion Control bogies. Проблема жёсткости трёхэлементной рамы давно является одной из базовых. Многие предлагали устанавливать поперечные связи, но такая конструкция была не всегда надёжна, поперечная связь зачастую просто деформировалась или ломалась, поскольку, помимо прочего, добавляла 150-200 кг к обрессоренной массе тележки. Другие рационализаторы на тележку ставили износостойкие, упругие элементы, колёсные пары с кассетными подшипниками. Подобные изменения в конструкции приводили к улучшению динамических показателей, но не решали главную проблему. В публикуемой статье ставится задача раскрыть новую идею модернизации тележки, которая призвана переломить тенденцию, обозначившую переход отечественных вагонов на тележки Barber S-2-R и Motion Control

In the works of the author [1-5], the problems of the optimal allocation of resources associated with traffic safety programs in transport are being studied. In works [7-8] an optimal location of rescue services with a normal and uniform distribution of transport hubs is found. The article deals with a one-sided transport hub as an exponential distribution law with certain intensity. The problem of the optimal location of several rescue services on the main line is studied. The biography of Aeroflot is the history of development of domestic aircraft construction, development of once dangerous and risky routes, rapid technical progress and competition with the largest aviation companies in the world. The author describes some curious facts from the history of Aeroflot company.
