Get PDFIn the context of the dynamic changes in the volume of railway transportation its successful operation depends on the efficient use of all production resources involved in operational activities. Among them crucial importance is retained by human resources, their ability to achieve goals, high professional efficiency, and ultimately all that is collectively reflected in the index of labor productivity. The analysis in the article makes it possible to compare the experience of the United States and Russia in the field of railways, to identify development trends and means to improve the resource potential of transport companies.В условиях динамичного изменения объемов перевозок на железнодорожном транспорте его успешное функционирование зависит от эффективности использования всех производственных ресурсов, вовлекаемых в эксплуатационную деятельность. Среди них решающее значение неизменно сохраняют человеческие ресурсы, их способность обеспечивать достижение намеченных целей, высокую профессиональную отдачу, а в конечном счете то, что в совокупности отражается в показателе производительности труда. Сделанный в статье анализ дает возможность сопоставить опыт в этой сфере железных дорог США и России, выявить тенденции развития и средства повышения ресурсного потенциала транспортных компаний

Get PDFThe author considers various ways of fire extinguishing by means of aviation equipment, the most environmentally suitable and efficient under different conditions. It is suggested to alter a helicopter fire extinguishing system in the cities and to adapt it for «not volley» operation and a fast intake of water from the reservoir, which is the closest to the seat of fire. The work is b ased on R&D work realized by MAI University and implemented into the practices, is substantiated by relevant mathematical apparatus.В статье рассматриваются проблемы тушения пожаров с помощью авиационной техники, наиболее экологически пригодной и эффективной в разных условиях. Предлагается при этом видоизменить вертолетную систему пожаротушения в городах, приспособив ее для работы «незалповым» методом и быстрого набора воды из ближайшего от очага горения водоема

Get PDFThe article shows advantages of continuous wavelet analysis in comparison with fast Fourier transform in the vibro-acoustic control of multilayer constructions. Evidence of above mentioned advantages was obtained, in particular in laboratory conditions using a model in the form of a marble slab and supporting marble cubes. Wavelet spectrum makes it possible to investigate in detail all high-frequency components, which are located at the beginning of the timeline and quickly die out, while the amplitude of the oscillations of the slab significantly reduces on the dominant mode.В статье показано преимущество непрерывного вейвлетанализа в сравнении с быстрым преобразованием Фурье при виброакустическом контроле многослойных строительных конструкций. Доказательства получены, в частности, в лабораторных условиях на модели в виде мраморной плиты и опорных мраморных кубов. Вейвлет-спектр дает возможность подробно рассмотреть все высокочастотные составляющие, которые располагаются в начале временной шкалы и быстро затухают, а амплитуда колебаний пластины на основной моде значительно уменьшается

Get PDFDecline in the level of mathematical knowledge at school, along with a general deterioration of competences of prospective students entering technical higher education institutions exacerbate the quality of acquisition of knowledge in engineering disciplines. Lecturers of Mathematics and Physics departments of MIIT in cooperation with the schools of North-East Administrative District of Moscow created a program of additional study of mathematics, which is designed to reduce the gap between the current level of school training and requirements of higher education institutions to newcomers, beginning to study at universities. The article presents the first results of a promising cooperation.Снижение уровня математического образования в школе наряду с общим ухудшением подготовки абитуриентов, поступающих в технические вузы, усугубляют и качество усвоения знаний по инженерным дисциплинам. Преподаватели кафедр математики и физики МИИТ совместно со школами столичного Северо-Восточного административного округа создали программу дополнительного изучения математики, которая рассчитана на то, чтобы сократить разрыв между привычным ныне уровнем школьной подготовки и требованиями вуза к начинающему обучение студенту. Get PDFA scheme of electro-pneumatic brakes for freight trains is offered, its operating principles, advantages and disadvantages of the design are described. The comment that is given by the authors reveals the mechanisms of inhibitory processes (braking, overlapping, release action) and management features, existing functional dependencies in the current complex of devices. Regulatory «duties› are highlighted, which are implemented with a digital decoder installed on each car, electro-pneumatic add-on and main line for information transmission by means of digital signals.Предложена схема электропневматических тормозов для грузовых поездов, описаны принцип работы, преимущества и недостатки конструкции. Комментарий, который дают авторы, раскрывает механизмы тормозных процессов (торможение, перекрыша, отпуск) и особенности управления ими, существующие функциональные зависимости в действующем комплексе устройств. Выделены регулирующие «обязанности», реализуемые с участием цифрового декодера, установленного на каждом вагоне, электропневматической приставки и магистрали передачи информации посредством цифровых сигналов

Get PDFThe authors consider a descriptive part of passenger flows simulation in a transport interchange hub, which takes into account the logical dependencies in organizing relocation of passenger flows, individuals and groups. All possible types of operations observed in the simulated space and assuming the reaction of control devices are shown and get their own interpretation. Different complexity of the situation with the organization of passenger traffic is estimated given architectural and planning decisions and the size of the complex.Рассмотрена описательная часть моделирования пассажиропотоков в транспортно-пересадочном узле, учитывающая логические зависимости в организации их перемещения в целом и вместе с тем отдельных людей и групп. Показаны и получили свою трактовку все возможные типы операций, наблюдаемые в моделируемом пространстве и предполагающие реакции управляющих устройств. Разные по сложности ситуации с организацией пассажиропотока оцениваются при заданных архитектурно-планировочных решениях и размерах комплекса

Get PDFMany studies were held and are currently been held on the adaptation of manpower resources to market environment. But there are still aspects which are rarely studied. Those are multidimensional character of psychological readiness of intellectual potential of different generations to adapt to market conditions, specific weak readiness of some generations, and differences due to regional cleavages explained by different life conditions. The author, studying assessments made by younger, middle and elder population of economically mono-profiled cities, particularly of the city of Gubkin, regarding local opportunities and personal prospects, make conclusions about their present and future situation and the broken intergenerational continuity.Немало исследований проводилось и продолжает проводиться сегодня по поводу адаптации трудовых ресурсов к рыночной среде. Однако есть на этом поле еще малоизученный аспект: неодномерность и слабая психологическая готовность интеллектуального потенциала людей разных поколений, живущих к тому же в несовпадающих по своим условиям регионах страны. Молодое, среднее и старшее поколения, особенно в монопрофильных городах типа Губкина, оценивая местные возможности и личные перспективы, дают основание автору сделать неординарные выводы относительно их настоящего и будущего, нарушенной ныне межпоколенческой преемственности
